We were seated right under a can light, which made it feel bright and a bit awkward. The rest of the restaurant seemed better lit, so we might have just got a bad spot. My steak was good, but my husband's was overcooked. We also both got the "signature carrot" that is included in every entrée. It tasted bland and was not good - I didn't eat any of it. Potatoes were excellent. My husband also got a house drink - their take on an old fashioned. He said it tasted like cough syrup. Waitress didn't check on us as much as needed. Overall it was an ok experience, but with all the other steak houses in Louisville, I would not recommend this one to people.
Food was very bad. It was over cooked and underwhelming for my previous experiences with Bobs in Texas.

My party and I were sat immediately upon arrival. The waitress recoommended some great wines and apps and her choices were superb! Food was delicious and hot. The portions are huge so be sure to have an appetite. Bob's signature glazed carrot is awesome!!

The waitress may have been new, so I won't hold the service against them. My only major complaint is that they used far too much salt, and I expect better from a restaurant of this caliber.

Service and food were excellent. Our server, Troy, was outstanding. The only thing I didn’t like was sitting right next to the kitchen. Everything else was great.

The service was very good as was the overall ambience. But the steaks were well below average. We ordered ribeyes, which is our cut of choice, but the quality of meat was very poor. The steaks were unusually tough, and almost completely lacked marbling/fat. Not what we expected from a high end steak house. We have ate at Bob’s in Dallas for years without issue, maybe we just got unlucky in Louisville.
We were celebrating my husbands Birthday. Service and food were fantastic! Kyle was our server, and he did a phenomenal job making our first experience there a great one. We will be back!

We dine at Bobs almost every week. The service and food are always top notch. We decided not to dine at any other steakhouses in Louisville for that reason.
That is until the replacement of the restaurant GM..... The new GM should not be in the hospitality business. She is rude, condescending and extremely unwelcoming. Seems as though she bends over backwards for POC, but not for anyone else.

Ordered pork chop medium well and it was well done, burnt on ends and extremely dry Always order medium well and normally fine at other restaurants
$27 for a Manhattan up with Knob Creek Rye I could have bought a 5th of Knob Creek Rye for that price

My wife and I have dined here on multiple occasions and decided to take a friend out for dinner. Nice atmosphere and ambiance for a hotel restaurant
Troy was an amazing sever! The shrimp platter and crab cakes were great, steaks (filets) were standard, but our sides mashed potatoes, baked potato and the carrots were barely warm. Overall great ambiance, but not on the “will have to dine here again list.”

I came here for dinner with my boyfriend for his birthday and they had asked me the reason when I called to make the reservation. I didn’t think anything of it, but when we arrived everybody knew it was his birthday and I thought that was so sweet. It’s really the little things. I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing the food was. Or how sweet the staff was. The serving sizes were huge. We ordered a salad, two entrees and an additional side and split between two people we had more than half of our food left over. Well worth the price and we definitely want to come back. It was a lot cheaper than we thought it would be for the amount of food we got. Our waitress (I so wish I could remember her name but we had been drinking all day) was the nicest sweetest waitress I’ve ever had and the director of operations even stopped by to see how everything was, which is so rare.

Great place in a city where it was hard to find food. We were in town for an extended weekend. Started with drinks in the speakeasy and was one of the best old fashioned cocktails I have ever had. Then went to dinner at the steakhouse and the food, drinks and service were all excellent. Will definitely go back and probably stay at the Omni next time.

Our second weekend traveling to Louisville and two Friday’s in a row at Bob’s. Great service, had Matthew twice and he did great. Kitchen accommodated all our request. It’s a must visit restaurant!

I took my husband out to celebrate his birthday and had heard amazing this about Bob’s steak and chop house. At first everything seemed great. However whenever my water glass was refilled, I noticed a long black hair in my drink. I quickly informed my husband. We didn’t want to cause a scene because other families and parties were near us. So my husband typed a message on his phone to show our server. Once the server was notified, he removed the glass from our table and gave me a new one. Unfortunately it ruined my husbands appetite at that point. He was unable to even eat the steak that had just been placed in front of us. The server offered to give us 10% off the bill but I still ended up paying nearly $200.00 for this terrible experience. This is supposed to be a classy restaurant and I have never been more disappointed in service in my life. When you go to a place like Bob’s, you’re supposed to be paying for great food and great service and unfortunately we received neither and still paid a fortune.

The food was WONDERFUL! We did not wait long for our entree, they have a great wine selection, and just overall great menu selections. Matt was hands down the best server we’ve had. We will definitely be back!
