For the first time in my life, I had to send back my 10oz filet tough and chewy. The waiter was most accommodating and replaced it with a normal filet, Also the men’s bathroom was lacking any paper towels and very dirty with discarded tissue paper around . I have been here several times before with no issues but at these prices ...

We tried to change our reservation to 7:30 and Open table indicated only 7:00 was available. We had trouble with Uber and Taxis and didn't get there until ~7:40. Not sure if it was good news or bad but the place was 60-70% full so we were seated with no problem.
The waiter was good although he was wearing a uniform that was filthy.
The food was not that great. We ordered a Caesars salad to share. I asked for extra anchovies for mine. The salad was good but the anchovies never came. My wife ordered horseradish encrusted Salmon that was Mediocre at best and I ordered the crab cakes that were not very good at all.
Bobby Vann’s provides fine food and spirits. Manager and service staff are excellent
The service and food was good. I was there for a. Saturday night dinner. It was pretty busy.
We loved the warm, steakhouse feel of the restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was 5 star. The onion soup was so hearty, it was a meal in itself. Best I’ve had. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection.
Our tuna tartare appetizer was superb, my martini was an abundant pour. The star was my bone in rib eye, cooked perfectly medium rare and super tastey . Wait staff was attentive but not intrusive,
We had a Groupon. Unfortunately, nothing about our experience was memorable and would entice us to return.

An institution in FiDi, and for good reason. Solid steaks, sides and great service. Quiet (especially for NYC) so easy to hold a conversation.

our server this time was very good - however, once he left, the service was a little off (and is somewhat typical there). might just be on the weekends when they're less busy though.

Besides the fact you cannot find it due to all the construction and street closures and there is NO parking - it was a great deal and the food was very good and our server Victor was very cool ! Good value
To be honest - it was way over priced for the dishes offered and quality of food. I understand it's NYC - but for my dish alone - with no sides which cost extra and all I ordered was a side of spinach which was like $9 ( acceptable) but the steak alone was $60 and was not cooked to what I asked - It was a bone in Ribeye and for $60 it was no better tasting or cooked any different than the local diner down the street at half the cost. Look I get it - they charge like this because this place is 50+ years in business and they probably want to attract the Wall Street Type groups with money, but you get a better bang for your buck anywhere else and to add insult to injury on this 3 8oz cokes and 1 IceTea was $25 - just absurd. Not worth it. - Total for two people was $175 - and my CC does not have Trump written anywhere on it .. so if you have $$ to throw away - go for it. Good luck
The steak was excellent and worth the wait. We got a second cup of Marinara sauce for our calamari. The service was top notch. The bread, however, was hard as a rock and we should have notified the waiter.
Only strange thing was the waiter . He had a weird sense of humor and didn’t pay attention
Great for special occasions and business dinners. Our waiter was friendly and very careful with my son's multiple food allergies. Speaking of which, Bobby Van's had more choices for side dish options for him than most of the other steakhouses in the area.

Bobby’s missed the mark this time. I’ll still go back but the service just wasn’t what I’m accustomed to at Bobby Vans.
The steaks were very good, and the location was really neat. Service was very good as well. The only drawback was that it was a bit pricey for what we got. Generally we spent $100 per head, and there were only 2 alcoholic beverages consumed at the table (for 3). Then, I live in Houston were the steaks are equal or better and the cost runs ~$100 per head with ample wine and drinks for all.
Great NY steakhouse, super rib eye perfectly cooked, same to be said for my wife's sirloin. Garlic mashed and steamed asparagus what could be better. Also wonderful a
