Bobby Van's Steakhouse and Grill located across from the New York Stock Exchange uses the original 1898 structure to create lush and evocative dining rooms filled with dark wood, cream-colored walls and beautiful chandeliers. Pass through the glass entrance of the steakhouse into the grand dining room with 20' ceilings to face a gorgeous 20-foot bar and a floor-to-ceiling wall of wine and liquor. The service was slow and awful. The location was advertised to be in a bank vault, and was nothing of the sort. The atmosphere was cheap and loud. The food was good. Overall, not worth the cost. You can get food this good for half the price.

We arrived early for our reservation without our entire party and they seated us right away. We were able to catch up with our daughter without feeling rushed. Will definitely be back!

I take my accounting staff here every year to celebrate completing the audit - never disappoints, always great food, service and ambiance. My favorite place for a business lunch downtown.

The food was great and well cooked. We visited for NYC Restaurant Week and it was everything! The food and wine menu was extensive and delightful. This is a great place for dates and its a romantic.

It was restaurant week and I took my gf out to this steakhouse. Our server was very friendly and accommodating. The food came out as we requested. We both ordered filet mignon (no brainer). It was cooked correctly and each bite did not disappoint. The desert I ordered was the creme brûlée. AMAZING!!!

Definitely recommend this restaurant and will probably come back again.

Service was slow and waiter didn’t seem very knowledgeable. Brownie a la mode wasn’t good,cold dry brownie topped with ice cream. Appetizers and entree were good and value very good

The scallops had a wonderful sear and the mushroom risotto was amazing - creamy and flavorful. We were very well taken care of by the wait staff. A very enjoyable evening.

It was my first time going to this restaurant. I chose to go during Restaurant week. I went with one of my friends and we had a great time. Friendly staff, and no wait time. Our waiter took care of us and made sure everything was perfect.
I definitely will be coming back here and I would recommend this place!

We came with high expectations but was very disappointed. We came here with a colleague visiting from Hong Kong who enjoys Capital Grill a block away. We decided to take him to Bobby Van. It is not for fine dining as the service was terrible and the server was very rude and demanding. We were interrupted to put in our order and he was not happy when we did not order wine. When the steak comes, he forced us to cut in the steak right away to check the temperature. I will not come back or recommend this to anyone.

Large lunch portions, good food and service. The cheesecake was lemony, which apparently , some people prefer to know up front, but it wasn't mentioned. Otherwise, decent experience.

This place is awesome! My friend and I came by for New York Restaurant Week and we both found it super satisfactory. The restaurant is located at financial district and seems to be a great place for business meals. In general the place looks very classy but still with fair prices. Their sirloin steak is really good so strongly recommended. Definitely would come by again for lunch on Weekends!
