Service was nearly non-existent on a slow Thursday night. Also my server seemed to be completely unfamiliar with mezcal, as I wanted to order a mezcal Negroni. Consulted the bar and came back asking me if I meant tequila. Overall not a great experience, but maybe I caught them on an off night. Probably won’t return though

In town for a few days, on vacation. Bobby’s was recommended by a family member. He was spot on!!! Great crab salad app!!! Filets were amazing. The gnocchi was the best ever. Just hated we didn’t have room for desserts!

Went with friends from England who are not adventurous eaters (their words), so the burgers and steaks were what they wanted. They enjoyed their enormous burgers and I had a simple dinner of a mixed greens salad with an addition of salmon. The noise level was low, so we were able to have a nice conversation and catch up on the last five years since we last met at Bobby Van’s.

Food is very good. Servers are superb. I ate twice there. French onion soup, salmon and cheesecake one night; next night corn soup and grilled vegetable sandwich. Everything was delicious. They also had top-quality wine.

Legit hard core steakhouse that truly does justice to the NYC Steakhouse experience. Service was fantastic, attentive, courteous and the food was exceptional. Good wines and proper drinks. Even gocen its prime location, the place is quiet enough to have a conversation, but with a good ambiance, and it’s perfectly located close to Times Square/Bryant Square Park - but outside of the raucousness and overcrowded scene. Great meal!!

What a fabulous night. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, over from the UK, so wanted a special night and we got that. Nothing was too much trouble (I use a wheelchair)…..the staff who looked after us were attentive, caring, professional and courteous. They engaged with us as customers, making us feel important and special, and as if we were longtime friends. The food was absolutely delicious. We had a starter and main meal …all which looked and tasted amazing. The tuna tartare and sweet chilli calamari was delicious, and the filet mignon for main melted in the mouth. A truly fantastic night which just helped to make our day of celebrations all the more special. Thank you so much for making it a night to remember ‘Bobby Van’s’ on 45th street x x

Thouroghly enjoyed our dinner. I am immune compromised from a double transplant and when I made the reservation I asked if they could put Rinaldi at a table that is further away from everyone and she set us up at a private table. The food was delicious. The wait staff were so nice and accommodating to our food allergies.

Was in a section by ourselves and food was overpriced for the quantity but was presented ok. Due to being the only table in the section very good service.

I assure you it is not a cash grab for us. The economy is upside down at the moment and the cost of goods sold is through the roof. Everything costs way more than it did last year. The delivery fees are exorbitant due to gas prices for the trucks that deliver the food. It is not the best time to be in this industry.

Had an amazing time with the family last night. We usually frequent the Bobby Vans on 50th St. This one was closer to the theatre that we went to last night. Great view of the craziness outside for St Patrick's Day and the service was top notch. Jerry and Jonathan did an excellent job and the food was on point as usual. We will be back!

Food just ok. i had seafood salad. shrimp was soggy with too much dressing .. salad could have had some lettuce (or light greens) corned beef ok and chicken was liked by one of my companions

I ordered a dry aged porter house medium rare. It came out medium well and lacked any rea flavor. It was mediocre at best. I would not return. There are much better steak houses in NYC for the ae or less money.

I asked for salad with no dressing it came loaded with dressing and then extra dressing on the side. I asked for chicken to be added to my salad and they did not understand to add it to the salad that had shrimp. They wanted to replace the shrimp. The salad had no lettuce. I expected it to.

It was a delightful experience in the heart of midtown prior to a show, we asked for an item that had previously been on the menu and the server accommodated that appetizer. The hostess had a note it was a birthday and said they would do something special and it never got communicated to the server, but despite that we still had an excellent time.

This is one of my fav spots in NYC. Staff is welcoming and friendly. They always give me the table I request. Waitress are helpful, kind and nice. Food is split up by waiters if it’s requested. Food is some of the best I ever had including most scrumptious scallops, gnocchi, lobster ravioli, bang bang shrimp, side of heavenly hashbrown, all fish. They make some of the best cosmos and other martinis and manhattans. I used to Think this was a tourist trap but totally not so. I don’t eat meat but steaks look amazing and a non meat eater can get perfectly full with the delicious seafood offerings.

NYE dinner was incredible!! Service was great. There is a big miss on the drink game for a restaurant. The list is small for wine and cocktails. We ordered two Tom Collins and the server did not know what it was and in the end we got a lemon drop martini. We explained what a Tom Collins was and that we wanted a drink with gin and ended up with vodka. The food was great, came out quickly, and service was amazing. If you are there for drinks as well, might be slightly disappointed.

This is a nice place if you want a more quiet atmosphere but upscale menu. The food was really good. It was nice to get bread, etc. on the table. The wedge salad and french onion soup were favorites. Nice staff.
