   Had an amazing time with the family last night. We usually frequent the Bobby Vans on 50th St. This one was closer to the theatre that we went to last night. Great view of the craziness outside for St Patrick's Day and the service was top notch. Jerry and Jonathan did an excellent job and the food was on point as usual. We will be back!

   Food just ok. i had seafood salad. shrimp was soggy with too much dressing .. salad could have had some lettuce (or light greens) corned beef ok and chicken was liked by one of my companions

   I ordered a dry aged porter house medium rare. It came out medium well and lacked any rea flavor. It was mediocre at best. I would not return. There are much better steak houses in NYC for the ae or less money.

    I asked for salad with no dressing it came loaded with dressing and then extra dressing on the side. I asked for chicken to be added to my salad and they did not understand to add it to the salad that had shrimp. They wanted to replace the shrimp. The salad had no lettuce. I expected it to.

    Food was a little pricey but good. Had to send back my dinner before they got it right. I told them that it was my wife's birthday but there was no recognition of her day, not even a candle in her desert!

    It was a delightful experience in the heart of midtown prior to a show, we asked for an item that had previously been on the menu and the server accommodated that appetizer. The hostess had a note it was a birthday and said they would do something special and it never got communicated to the server, but despite that we still had an excellent time.

    This is one of my fav spots in NYC. Staff is welcoming and friendly. They always give me the table I request. Waitress are helpful, kind and nice. Food is split up by waiters if it’s requested. Food is some of the best I ever had including most scrumptious scallops, gnocchi, lobster ravioli, bang bang shrimp, side of heavenly hashbrown, all fish. They make some of the best cosmos and other martinis and manhattans. I used to Think this was a tourist trap but totally not so. I don’t eat meat but steaks look amazing and a non meat eater can get perfectly full with the delicious seafood offerings.

    Cenamos en fin de año. Ofrecían la carta habitual del restaurante esa noche. Hecho que nos gustó. La comida excelente. El filet mignon en su punto Justo de cocción y muy tierno. También muy bueno el tartar de atún. El servicio muy atento, disponible y rápido. Teniendo en cuenta los elevados precios de Manhattan tienen una buena relación calidad-precio.

    NYE dinner was incredible!! Service was great. There is a big miss on the drink game for a restaurant. The list is small for wine and cocktails. We ordered two Tom Collins and the server did not know what it was and in the end we got a lemon drop martini. We explained what a Tom Collins was and that we wanted a drink with gin and ended up with vodka. The food was great, came out quickly, and service was amazing. If you are there for drinks as well, might be slightly disappointed.

    Grabbed a reservation & stopped in here from Times Square after a show. We were not disappointed!! Everything from the food, to the servers and ambience were outstanding! Would definitely go back again and highly recommend 🤩

    This is a nice place if you want a more quiet atmosphere but upscale menu. The food was really good. It was nice to get bread, etc. on the table. The wedge salad and french onion soup were favorites. Nice staff.

    Food was stone cold. Meat was tough. Remade the steaks and vegetables which were then undercooked. 3 hours and we were late for our appts. Manager could not have cared less. Ran out of bread. Didn’t bring second round of drinks. They would not adjust any steaks off the meal. It was a terrible experience. Do yourself a favor and go to Ruth Chris. All 6 of us in the party were not satisfied. This was the 45th street restaurant.

    Made a reservation, had to wait like 30 minutes to be seated. Service was slow. Our steaks weren’t cooked correctly. Went there for a birthday, no dessert or singing offered

    Jackie was so kind to hold our reservation for us. We came in from Suffolk County and because of SantaCon, we weren't able to access our original parking garage. By the time we found parking, and made it to the restaurant, we were 45 mins beyond our reservation time. Our server, Ben, was courteous, friendly, funny and accurate. The runners brought our food out HOT and gave the right plates to each of us. We look forward to dining with Bobby Van's again!!!! - Angelo D.

    Bobby Vans in FiDi is iconic and on par with any other high end steak house. This location would be the Fredo of the franchise where it’s a Corleone but but only in name. Food was “Meh”, service was “ok” and my gut says Gordon Ramsey is chomping at the bit to fix the kitchen nightmare. There is a reason why it was the only place not on a wait and available…we were grateful to find a spot at 8:30pm.

    Food was great. Service was super slow. Somehow during service our server left. We sat with appetizer plates on the table for quite a long time. No one asked how we were doing. No one asked if we would like another drink. Not what I expected, service should be better.

    Very good food. Would have rated the restaurant higher had our waiter not tried to upsell so much when we were ordering. He wasn't pushy, but said "So you're having the porterhouse?" - $85/person and things like that It could have just been his sense of humor, but . . .

    My family was visiting out of town for Thanksgiving and we went to have our early dinner at Bobby Van's. The wait staff was exceptional and really went out of their way to quickly take care of any requests we had. The dinner was great and well worth the price for the Thanksgiving meal. My only request would be that there was a larger option to tip the wait staff than 22%. Otherwise would be happy to return here.

    This was BY FAR the best way would could spend our 25th wedding anniversary. The food was amazing! But, even more important, we were treated like royalty. We let go of all cares and truly just got what we wanted. The staff was incredible….. starting with the beautiful young lady Olivia who was the hostess. Professional and kind. Made sure we had the most special table in the whole place! Our wait staff, Alex and all the rest couldnt do enough for us. Never felt rushed and truly made us feel special on such a special day. If you want a fine dining experience with excellent food, I highly recommend going here when you are visiting NY. Its in the heart of Times Square. Such an amazing experience. Cant wait to go back!
