Bobby Van's Grill is located directly accross from the New York Stock Exchange on Broad Street. The Vault dining room on the lower level was once J.P. Morgan & Co.'s original bank vault, which was installed by Remington & Sherman Co. in 1902. The Vault Bar's elongated room is lined with vault doors, two of which showcase Bobby Van's extensive Wine Room. The 22-foot wood paneled bar boasts a large selection of spirits and wines by the glass which you can also enjoy at one of the rich tapestry-covered banquettes. In the center of the room is the impressive six-foot circular main vault entrance where you can dine on entrees such as our 12oz prime beef burgers, juicy steak wraps, Maine lobster rolls, jumbo crab BLTs, specialty salads, and of course our famous steaks!

Bobby Van's Grill on Broad Street in the Financial District is closed and nobody notified Open Table. For years, there has been both a Bobby Van's Steakhouse and a separate Bobby Van's Grill on Broad Street. The Grill was on a lower level and one of it's great features was the dining ares inside the old bank vault surrounded by hundreds of safe deposit boxes. Well, the Grill closed by Open Table continues to take reservations for it. The Steakhouse will provide the Grill menu but the experience is not the same because the ambience of the Steakhouse is a far cry from the old Grill.

We came in for lunch party of 4. My filet was perfect and flavorful. My sons Seared Ahi was not what we were used to in California. The cut of Ahi seemed flavorless and a bit watery in texture. We do not know why it was like this. We do get good sashimi quality Ahi in california and maybe it was just a regional difference. It was prepared perfectly and well presented. The other two dishes were the cobb salad and a wrap. they were both up to standard but did not amaze. We loved the restaurant and the service. i would be back for the filet and maybe try other dishes on the menu. i would recommend for any visitors to the area.

Very disappointed. The steak was undercooked. We sent it back to be cooked more. The meat was chewy and not flavorful. All else was decent but far from memorable. I would never return.

My guests had steak that was OK, but not the best, I had shrimp scampi that was just terrible . A tiny cup of rice and shrimp as hard as a rock and totally tasteless. No flavor, nothing. I could have had a $ 10.00 shrimp dish at a Chinese reastaurant that would have felt & tasted so muchchchchchchchchc better
