   Bobby Vans is our go to restaurant in Manhattan. It’s close to everything and it’s great if you need to eat pretty quickly. We sat at the bar for drinks first. We had a martini and 2 old-fashioneds. The drinks were very good and nice pours, but at 75 dollars for the three drinks, a little high. We then had a Caesar salad, a Bobby Vans burger and a pizza with sausage. All were delicious. We also had three very nice glasses of Cabernet Sauvignon. We had to get to a show, so we only had about an hour. We told our waiter ( great young guy but forgot his name!), and he made sure everything came out quickly. Also the hostess seated us right away. Very nice also. All in all a great dinner. We’ll be back!

   Had a bad experience 1st time in a couple months ago. We were invited back by one of the managers. This manager got us a table on his day off within 1hr of us contacting him. Upon arrival we were greeted by a wonderful woman who was managing that night. She and our wait staff made sure that our experience was excellent. Food was great. We laughed with the manager repeatedly. Really happy we gave them a second chance. If you're going to a show I recommend checking this place out.

   This was one of the worst dining experiences ever! From the moment we arrived ( we had reservations) we were told to wait. Once we convinced the hostess that we didn’t want to sit by the door another woman “found us a seat on another room where there were MANY empty tables for 4. The floors were so sticky it was revolting. The food was awful and the service even worse. I will NEVER go back there!

   After studying many options for our night in NYC, we opted for Bobby Van's. We were extremely pleased. Very attentive and knowledgeable waiter. Excellent cocktails and excellent meals. Great ambiance and peaceful vibe. We'd definitely return. Expensive? Sure. But for that kind of menu, it was average compared to similar establishment.

   Incredible service and lovely traditional, NYC steakhouse ambiance. The Colorado lamb chops and lobster Mac & cheese were the stars of the meal, along with a superb Manhattan to drink. Perfectly on point for the upscale dinner we were looking for on our visit!

   Noise level was intolerable. There needs to be more of a barrier between the bar and the restaurant. As it is, the patrons in the restaurant area had to shout to be heard over the bar crowd. Maybe go for lunch without the drinkers coming after work.

    Food was great, tasty, well prepared and presented. The ambiance was overall fine, but dominated by a really loud table. Several patrons commented on the loudness, and instead of the staff calling out those who were disturbing us, we were asked if we wanted to move. Why should we move when we're not the ones disturbing the moment? This should have been handled differently.
