Our server Ashley was very attentive, pleasant and helpful in answering our questions. The brisket was very good, calamari appetizer nice sized pieces and not too breaded, but the mac n cheese was a bit too cheezy for our kids. I would recommend it!

First I have to say that the food here is great, I had the fried catfish and it was delish...but before that I made a reservation for 6:15 and I was 20 minutes late for that reservation so I asked the hostess if I was too late for my reservation and she said that it'll be about 30 minutes before we can get seated and I was okay with that but in the end we ended up waiting a hour and a half before being seated she kept telling us that they were waiting for tables to be cleared before we got seated and that was the only excuse that she kept giving us. We continue to wait because this was our first time eating at this restaurant and we heard good things so we wanted to try it out but we was not happy with the long wait.

We had been hearing about Bobby Q’s so made a reservation. Despite having a reservation, we waited 30 minutes for our table. That seems a little too long for having made a reservation. The food was very good; although the side dishes were a bit skimpy in size. A fun place to take guests.

Beautiful restaurant, large menu, delicious food, and the staff from the time you walk in to get seated by the hostess and the server were all so kind. Our first time at a Bobby Q and we had a wonderful experience. We’ll definitely be back. Enjoy! It’s best to make a reservation for dinner on the weekend.

If I had known that we would get free mini donuts at the end of our meal, I would've tried this place sooner! I had the brisket sandwich - super moist and delicious! The pecan coleslaw was fine, but if I had to do it again, I definitely would've ordered either the potato salad or the mac and cheese. Service was prompt and attentive - our waiter even gave us a couple bags of freshly made mini donuts!

We made reservations online and were seated promptly. The service was great even though they were busy. The meal came quickly and presentation was good.

We ordered a mixed meats platter to share with 3 people and all of the food and sides were delicious, but one. We had cole slaw, baked potato, and roasted vegetables. We were very disappointed in the roasted veggies as they were flavorless and unattractive and not very warm. All I could think of after trying them was how delicious they could have been if drizzled with olive oil and sea salt before roasting to a moderate Char, making a healthy side with great flavor. Also, huge chunks of zucchini are rather unappetizing to many people... how about green beans or mini red/orange peppers instead? We will definitely eat here again but will try to pick a different healthy side. Thank you!

Great ambiance and fantastic food!! Dinner is about $25 a person with a soda... seems a little pricy for BBQ. But it is on soooo good! And the place is awesome!

We chose Bobby Q because of all the good reviews and the option to make a reservation. We knew that everywhere would be busy because of it being a Friday night and right before Christmas! We had to wait 10 minutes past our reservation time in order to get the booth we requested. We didn’t have an issue with this because it was crowded and the booth was well worth the wait! The food was delicious and our waitress was excellent! The surprise gift of freshly made mini doughnuts was the best thing yet!!! We’ll definitely be back!

We went for the Friday fish fry. It was adequate for the price. Others in the Valley are better but the price is higher, too. Service was good. The remodel of the building is good - I liked the enclosed patio, however, my husband felt a draft on his back - he was just inside the garage door. When we go back it will be for the BBQ for which they are noted.

Our experience was great. We arrived about 15 minutes early but the restaurant was still able to accommodate us right away. Our meals were great and we enjoyed a relaxing dinner and visit with our friends. There was no pressure to leave after we finished eating as we have experienced in some restaurants. The donuts were a very nice touch to end a wonderful meal and evening with our friends. We look forward to our next opportunity to go to Bobby Q in Mesa.

My husband and I came here on a whim for our date night. We heard this place was good and we wanted to go somewhere a little more expensive (for the service and food). Overall I liked the food, but I did think that the variety was very limited. There was nothing on the menu that seemed refreshing- it all seemed fried and heavy.

What really turned me off is that they set tables extremely close together which makes everything cramped. It was awkward to have a loud party of 6+ with young children sitting in an open part of the restaurant. Also, we were walking extremely close to seated diners on our way to our table. We were at a booth, which was awesome because it gave us privacy, but it would seem uncomfortable to be seated at a table since people could easily bump into you.

Another negative was that my waiter was not very experienced. He had stated he was new, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. However, it was very disappointing that he could not really give us answers to how some of the foods tasted. Such as their "Pecan Coleslaw". I had asked if it was tangy and he honestly had no clue. I don't blame the waiter for not knowing, however, I do blame the restaurant for not wanting their wait staff to know these kinds of things.

Again, I loved the food, but the ambiance and experience of service was not that great. I would not mind coming back, but comparing this place to Lucille's BBQ makes it really hard to enjoy eating here.

The environment is a very well place to go on a Friday or Saturday night. It's a very busy place but that shows that the good is great. The food was delicious and for the quality the cost is perfect. Thank you for making my fathers birthday a night to remember.

We had an issue with our ribeye being replaced with a prime rib instead. The server was quite apologetic and stated they would "rush" the correst plate out. A manager came by and apologized and said the meal would be taken off the bill and offered an appetizer or side in the meantime. We refused and waited for the plate. We were a party of 4 and 1 other person decided to wait until the other plate arrived. The service we received was amazing. They replaced the cold meal with a hot plate, put the cold plate in a to-go box and brought out the correct plate. Our server overheard it was our anniversary and came out with a 2 desserts on the house. We have been here before and have never had any complaints. The service at this visit was awesome and were quite pleased with the accommodations the manager and employees provided. Absolutely will go back!

Decided to try some barbecue before a concert at Mesa. The place was very busy so we suspected it was going to be very good. And it did not disappoint. The barbecue was succulent and juicy, not the flavor that I would’ve expected but very good nonetheless. If you’re around the I 60 and steapley, drop in and check this place out. It was worth your time.
