Beautiful meal. Best turkey and ham diner by far. Can’t wait to come back

Another great experience only this time the staff went above and beyond. The girl that served us went and asked the chef to cook something that we wanted but wasn't on the menu and the chef gladly obliged. The food and service was outstanding as usual.

Just the place for a quiet family meal before Christmas.

My partner is a vegetarian and having checked the menu prior to booking we noted there was one vegetarian meal on the menu and we were happy with that. However on arrival we were informed that the vegetarian meal had been removed as they had reduced the menu.
There then ensued some prolonged conversations in the kitchen as to what they could actually provide. An omelette with some greenery in it was the end product.
My steak was lovely but overall we were left unimpressed.

All the staff are fabulous. Doreen is a star!

We had a delicious Sunday roast there last weekend, the food was perfect and the staff could not do enough! Excellent service! Looking forward to our next visit

Lovely Sunday dinner. Just not enough vegetables. A quarter of carrot and parsnip not enough. Great service. Staff very efficient and friendly.

Limited menu and over priced.
Food tasted bland , turkey dinners wasn't hot . Pie came with no veg or sides for £16 and very small portion all round
Desserts banoffe pies didn't taste of banana and no biscuit base. Sticky toffee pudding not sticky nor toffee. Very dry but was deducted from bill. Nice atmosphere but disappointed in the taste and portion of food for big prices. Staff lovey though, apart from being asked to leave and had to finish drinks outside. But due to covid-19 I suppose I will maybe give another try in the new year.

We had a really lovely lunch on Saturday. I was expecting it to be really busy but at 3pm there was a nice level of activity. We were sat in a little corner, this was lovely and private but made it difficult to get the attention of staff.
The food was really lovely and great value for the portion size. The only criticism was my desert. It said sticky toffee pudding, but it doesn't come with the toffee sauce you expect, it comes with custard. I asked for none of the creme anglais as too much dairy doesn't agree with me. I expected it to be served on the side with the sticky toffee sauce but instead I got a square of dried sponge... I was really gutted as it had been my first desert in months! :(. When I asked was it a mistake our waitress asked the kitchen who confirmed there is no toffee sauce, it's custard! They were apologetic and didn't charge us, but I still left a bit sad I didn't have my desert!
Other than that everything was great. Please belt menu selection, lots of distance between tables and the staff were super friendly always!

Loved it! So cosy, service was top class and staff so friendly! We had the steak and it was perfect. One of best steaks I’ve ever had! Will be back soon.

We had a lovely lunch, it was a wee bit expensive but overall a lovely experience and we would recommend the bar to friends and family. Such a pity you have to close for 4 weeks but we hope to revisit when this lock down is over. Good Luck.

Had three visits here in 10 days, fabulous food each time (reallytasty and great portions), excellent service and lovely staff. The place itself is gorgeous and comfortable. Unfortunately, we had some noisy elderly gents beside us who obviously had been imbibing for a while but, that aside, we had a great time and cant wait for it to reopen. I expect we will be regular customers. Thanks!!

Lovely location not far out of Central Belfast. Very rural feel to the place with a quaint, welcoming and cosy atmosphere. Staff were really friendly and went out of their way to cater for an elderly guest in the party. Very good value and the food was very good. Would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this pub/restaurant and we will certainly be back very soon.
