Amazing food and service. Best lobster tail I’ve ever eaten. Their take on oysters Rockefeller are better than the original. Baby octopus was just delicious and the bisque had plenty of morels. Definitely will be back.

We were seated at a lovely table with a view. Service was great, my husband asked what draft beer they had and they brought him one as we were seated,. It was restaurant week- a wonderful 3 course dinner of lobster bisque , filet and lobster with Bernadine and small cut up fingerling potatoes, my husband had the crème brûlée which he liked, my carrot cake was good but not as good -a little dry but overall a wonderful meal. We loved the roll with fustiini’s oil Please offer some early bird restaurant week value options during other times of the year. Such an enjoyable meal. Thank you!

What a perfect conclusion to an amazing day! We were celebrating our anniversary and getting engaged. The restaurant made it super special, and as per usual the food was spectacular!! The wine is incredible! I highly recommend for a romantic dinner or a lovely dinner out.

The Boathouse is a fantastic restaurant. If you’re coming from Traverse City, the drive is spectacular. The restaurant setting and building is warm and beautiful. And of course, the service, food and wine is second to none. I’ve travelled the world, and this is my favorite restaurant. My wife and I live in Florida, and when I asked her where she’d like to go for Valentine’s Day dinner, she said “The Boathouse”. So, we flew up to Traverse City and had a wonderful evening.

We enjoyed a very good dinner with friends. Put Rack of Lamb back onto the menu. Increase the menu font size so folks with some vision issues can read the choices in dimly lit areas.

Service and food were both outstanding. Our server was very knowledgeable and led us to the delicious mushroom soup my husband and I both really enjoyed. Would recommend to anyone in the area for an upscale experience that delivers on all accounts.

We treated our daughter and son-in-law to a mid week dinner at the Boathouse. It was very good, but not quite outstanding. I had the lobster but a little disappointed that it didn’t come with drawn butter. My wife had the Walleye which I tried and was very good. The Morel soup was very good but could have been warmer. It sounds like I’m nitpicking, and to a degree I am, but for the price it should have been “outstanding “. All in all it is a very nice restaurant and we will definitely return. Take these reviews with a grain of salt. It really isn’t fair to judge with only one experience. I look forward to trying other entree’s.

We had such a great experience the other night at Boathouse! The food was absolutely phenomenal and was some of the best food I’ve had in the state of michigan! The appetizers were great and I’d highly recommend the sea scallops! The service was also great! Our server Dan was so attentive and was very knowledgeable and helpful with us about what to order! We came here for a birthday celebration but I will for sure be coming back if we are in the area!

Simply marvelous! This is a tough place for reservations in the summer but offseason is the best. Food was lovely -- tempura fried asparagus was divine along with PEI oysters. Entrees of fresh walleye and elk chops were beyond compare. Server Tim was witty and entertaining and did a great job. Wine prices were surprisingly reasonable. All in all it was a wonderful dining experience. Please go!

The Boathouse is our favorite restaurant for special occasions and never fails to delight us. From the ambiance to the wonderful service, we have always had a wonderful meal. Even better, this year the enclosed deck is open for service when weather permits. This restaurant takes extra steps to make you feel valued as a patron.
