   Food was delicious. Great choices on tap for beer. Wedge salad was outstanding. The view was breathtaking. Our server was accommodating and willing to provide recommendations.

   Have dined there previously. Took grandson (11) for Boy's NIght Out. We had a very nice booth in the Bar Area as we requested. We both decided to order the Waygu burger which arrived perfectly prepared with excellent french fries and in his case a side of fruit and mine the Wednesday Night Special of a glass of Cabernet. All aspects of the evening were professionally and courteously handled.

   The food & service was outstanding! It is a bit expensive, but worth it for a special occasion. Foodie paradise. Loved it! I was sorry I didn’t have room for dessert!

   We had a great meal with scallops, beef, morel bisque, an appetizer, dessert, and a few drinks. The food and service were outstanding, as usual. The morel bisque is next level amazing. This was our third visit and we will continue to dine here when we are in the area.

   The food was amazing - octopus, shrimp, salmon, halibut, lamb chops and sea scallops. I just wish the portions were larger…. Just a bit more for the money would have been better. The service was so attentive and we had a great experience.

   We LOVED our experience at Boathouse! My husband ran the Bayshore marathon on Saturday and I had reservations here afterwards to celebrate and enjoy an amazing dinner! We brought our 6 and 8 year old as well and they loved everything. We were seated outside and the weather and view made the meal that much better. We had the grilled octopus appetizer and it was phenomenal. My kids loved it as well and wanted more! My husband and I split the land and sea meal for two and it was so excellent. The lobster and steak and asparagus were perfectly cooked. My daughter got the sautéed shrimp and veggies kid's dinner and my son got the fish and chips. Everything was homemade and beautifully presented and delicious! The crème brule was the best I've ever had. I want to go back right now!!

    My husband and I dined her for his birthday last night and we were blown away. The service, the ambiance, and of course, the food, was top tier. We were promptly seated, our server was kind, checked in often, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience on our last night in Traverse City.

    Took mom out the day before, for Mother’s Day. The ambiance and overall vibe was GORGEOUS. It was not crowded, the tables were spaced nicely. We had dinner for two and start to finish it was exceptional. It was a bit pricey but we knew that coming in, cocktails and desserts we too much tho for what you get. Other than that, outstanding. The server was polite and kind and always had a smile on his face.

    Food was phenomenal! Great flavor on the halibut and the scallops. It was so good we swapped meals mid-meal. Okay maybe it was a plan between my wife and I going in, but it was easy to do this time. The oysters that were offered were also a great variety with both east and west coast on the menu, and very fresh. The server was also very good. He figured out very early that we were on a night out and had some time. He was slammed with 4 tables at the same time, but put us on the slow play pace, and it worked. We never really wanted for anything, and he explained where he was at the whole time, so a very nice evening. That takes some experience to pull off, and obviously he had that. It was also obvious that the owners' had good systems in place to overcome rushes and lulls. The view and the scenery was very peaceful, but bring your sunglasses for the beautiful sunset! Will certainly be back.

    Overall excellent experience for our first time dining at the Boathouse!! Greeted by friendly waitstaff with impeccable service throughout the evening. Pleasant atmosphere with a stunning sunset view of West Bay. Food and wine pairing was wonderful, the food was served hot and was delicious!

    Enjoyed everything about our dining experience here. Service was exceptional. The morel bisque was amazing and the carrot cake was the surprise of the night. Definitely recommend trying the rack of lamb.

    We've been there many times, but brought some friends along this time, and introduced them to the Boathouse. Suffice it to say, they enjoyed the atmosphere and, particularly, the cuisine. We will all return!

    The tempura asparagus set the tone for the meal, delicious! Next came the rack of lamb with Kuwaiti spice that was cooked perfectly. The filet mignon melted in your mouth. With their accoutrements, both meals were superb. We traveled an hour and half to visit the Boathouse, well worth the trip!

    Excellent gourmet dining. The wine list specializes in French wines, a fine selection. Every dish we had was outstanding from the octopus to the salad to the surf and turf for two to the dessert. It was my birthday and they made it so very special with a card and small box of chocolates. Well worth the drive and the money.
