This waterfront locale is historically known as the launching site of our country's first submarine, the H.L. Hunley. Poised at the breach between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic, you can enjoy a meal amongst the spectacular sunset views and balmy ocean breezes of the Isle of Palms.     Oysters were delicious! Fried shrimp also. Our waiter, Stephen, was attentive but let us enjoy our evening at a leisurely pace. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

    The food was pretty good but with Charleston close by it has very tough competition. It was nice not to drive downtown. Our server was great.

    Unfortunately my reservation request for seating near a window was not honored. They sat us in the exact opposite of what I requested. They did apologize and offered a round of free drinks. However, we went there for sunset and the view and were disappointed to be by the wall and not able to see the water.

    Food and service were excellent. I got the special, and it was delicious. My husband said his strip steak was the best one he’s had at a restaurant. Parking is an issue but the Valet is free, make sure to tip! We loved the outside deck and are looking forward to coming back to enjoy the sunset from the rooftop bar.
