This waterfront locale is historically known as the launching site of our country's first submarine, the H.L. Hunley. Poised at the breach between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic, you can enjoy a meal amongst the spectacular sunset views and balmy ocean breezes of the Isle of Palms. Come early and have a cocktail at the Rooftop Bar while enjoying amazing views before dining.

    We sat on the covered patio for sunset views. The fans were helpful to keep it comfortable in 84 degrees. Service was very fast - food came out quickly. We got the special appetizers of the sake seared tuna and the Charleston fig burrata. They were good but not amazing. For entree we got the crab cake plate and they were good. The mashed potatoes are fantastic and I would order multiple rounds of hush puppies next time. Come for the views. Got to see a lot of dolphins

    We have been to the boathouse several times and always enjoy it. This time, the food was excellent for all four of us, the service was from the end quick. The dining room was loud, but there were a lot of families there; the noise didn’t attract from an overall very good experience!

    Our server, Brandon was great- very attentive. Good was great, wine was served in a chiller. Bar tender upstairs was very nice also. Beautiful sunset in the rooftop.

    Very good experience.  We had the calamari and oysters on the half as appetizers,… the poached, seafood platter, the shrimp and grits and the grilled mahi-mahi. all were tasty. Our service was fine, we sat on the screened porch and enjoyed the sunset. The value was what I expected. Valet parking made it easy. I would recommend.

    My daughter and I had a reservation for two and were sat right away. Our server was extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and gave wonderful recommendations. Our E entree portions were hearty and the seafood was extremely delectable and fresh. Their house made key lime pie was out of this world. I wish I ordered a second piece. Def recommend this restaurant!

    Ordered fried seafood trio. Oysters were cold, some extremely overcooked. Shrimp and flounder didn't taste good. Waiter took it off the bill at my request. We have usually had a good experience here. An occasional slip is to be expected

    Go here for the view at sunset 🤩 The food and service were good, not outstanding but the views on the porch were 💯. Good overall vibe, busy and lively.
