   I was starving—the food didn’t stand a chance. Our server had such a great personality, she knew I wanted to say thank you but my mouth was too busy doing the work. It’s a great spot—tucked away from the downtown chaos, quiet, and just an overall lovely place to unwind.

   The seared scallops were amazing. We got 6 different entrees and about 7 appetizers. And drinks. Everything was delicious and everyone was happy.

   We were seated on time and offered drinks and appetizers. Thirty minutes later our waiter had not come back and had taken orders from two tables who were seated well after us. When I was able to flag him down he stated he thought we were waiting on someone. We had the number of people on our reservation 3 with 3 menus and cutlery for 3 and seated on a four top. He made an incorrect assumption. Our reservation was at 6:00, he wasn’t taking our order for entrees until almost 7:00. Possibly due to this, there was no more of the fish I wanted left available that was on the main menu. No idea if there were any specials since we never heard any. The food for the two that ate was good which is the only reason I’m not tanking the reviews altogether. Also, why ask if it is a special occasion if it is meaningless and not recognized!! Pleasant guy but his assumption kinda ruined a lot of the experience and celebration.

   We dined with reservations on a Thursday night. We were packed in like a can of sardines and it was extremely warm in the restaurant. The food was average at best.

   Enjoyed our dinner at The Boathouse. Excellent fresh seafood at a reasonable price. Service was great. Fast and served hot. Great cocktails and lots of menu options to choose from. The only downside was that the tables were a little small and cramped for our party of 5. Overall grest and would definitely go back if we are in town again.

    Food was very good. Didn’t order any extras. Our server was nice but none of us (4) were ever offered a refill on our drinks. Felt like she wanted us to eat & go since we didn’t order anything additional. And one glass of soda was $5.00. Ate here in 2024 and it was great and the service was great. A little disappointed this time.
