   I made reservations weeks ago and we were put at a small table packed in with 6 of us. It was hot on the porch. Food was OK, valet was great, server was good.

   I just want to thank Rob Drake the head chef at the Boathouse for making our Mother's Day an amazing experience. In addition, the staff and servers did a great job on a very busy evening.

   Our experience for a bustling Mother's Day Brunch was very good! Our window seat table was ready for us, our service was very good, and we really enjoyed our meals - starting with Fried Green Tomatoes and a Blueberry "Mock a Rita" drink. We both had the Brunch special, Linguini Pescatore, bursting with a great array of seafood and fish. Tables were arranged a tad bit too tight for comfirt, but otherwuse noise and ambiance were good! The valet was great, honoring my wish for a great parking spot for my 2-day new car! 4+ stars

   Great seafood venue with lots of options. All very tasty. Shrimp and Grits outstanding!

   The boathouse is a perfect place for a fine dining experience at an affordable price. Excellent selection of wines, appetizers and main courses. Very reasonably priced for the quality of food and service. And of course, the views!!

   Steven was a great server. We were a party of 8 and all loved our meals. The spa drink was tasty too!!. Dying to go back and sit at the bar and have more items off the raw bar!

   Beautiful setting on IOP! The swordfish special was a bit dry and could have used a sauce but otherwise, service was excellent as well as the views and wine!

   The food and service was outstanding! Great fish and excellent menu selections. The fried pickled okra and swordfish special was incredible.

    I don’t usually write reviews but my entire experience was so disappointing. From the start we were directed to go to upstairs bar until table was ready, which is fine, but we were supposed to receive a text when our table was ready which never happened, nor did they acknowledge the wait and lack of communication. Considering there is a $25 fee per person if you cancel the reservation this felt inappropriate. The staff were fine but the food and cocktails were less than mediocre. The portions were small, which is fine, but so bland. We got the chefs choice and seafood combo (over $100 of seafood) and it genuinely tasted like shrimp from the grocery store placed in a bowl of butter. Not to mention they forgot the sides with our meals, which were also bland. By far the most disappointing dinner we had all week, would not recommend if you’re expecting remotely good quality food/drinks.
