We went for Mother’s Day brunch and the food was absolutely delicious. They had a carving station of beef, and omelette station, lots of other main items like chicken, salmon, and pasta. And the desserts were over the top especially the crème brûlée. It was a little pricey at $45 per person but that did include either a Mamosa or a bloody Mary. They also tacked on an 18% gratuity automatically.

Menu was very limited and they had no entrees for vegetarians although the were kind enough to accommodate two people in our group. I thought the food was over priced for the quality and experience. However it was convenient to go here before attending a concert at scullers and the scenery of the Charles was a nice touch. The room is cold and not particularly welcoming. Wait staff was wonderful.

I did not like that me credit card was charged at the time I made the reservation
The meal was s gift and because you charged me thusly, it spoiled the whole meal.
You shouldn’t presume the person making the reservations is the person who will pay!

I would recommend going to Boathouse if you're going to hear jazz at Sculler's that evening. It's unlikely that you'd find another restaurant nearby. The food's fine, if expensive.

Overpriced, mediocre food. Clam chowder was passable, salmon was OK but for the prices that were charged, we would have expected better.

Very good clam chowder. Undercooked onion rings replaced with a huge platter of over cooked ones! Staff was pleasant. Ok if you are staying at hotel because no restaurants close by. We only ate there the first night.

This restaurant is ideal for a nice dinner before going to a jazz show at the Regatta Bar downstairs.

We enjoyed our visit and atmosphere. the plates looked awesome, a bit disappointed with the poblano pepper, could have been softer and roasted. However, all was good

I chose this place for its convenience before going to a show at Scullers and was pleasantly surprised. The wait staff was great, informative, and helpful and the food was great; better than I had expected. I would highly recommend for any pre-show dinner and would not be disappointed for any occasion.

My friend and I made reservations for dinner before the 10pm set at Scullers. We were seated on time, but there seemed to be some disorganization with the wait staff. A crock of butter fell to the floor, and with conversation around taking care of it, a waiter hurried past our table and in a very loud voice twice assured he would take care of it. I was wondering if the waiters were additionally servicing the Fusion Lounge, as the food was prepared in the same kitchen.

The kitchen was able to accommodate my request for regular salad, but I felt this was overpriced at $12. Both my friend and I ordered the risotto. Perhaps my tastebuds are not accustomed to the ancient grain used to make the dish, but I did not like the dish. I wondered how the basil was supposed to enhance the flavors.

It had been a hot day, and it was very warm seated beside the glass partition separating the levels. We drank of lot of ice water.

Perhaps this was an aberrant evening at the Boathouse.

Four good friends went to the Boathouse 400 to have dinner before a Scullers show. We were really delighted: the food was beautifully prepared and delicious and the ambiance was perfect for conversation. The servers were lovely. It's a bit pricey (210 dollars for four people before tip) but we thought it was worth it.

For the quality of the food, this place is not inexpensive. The view is the best thing about it, honestly. It's basic, don't-offend-anybody fare but with some really odd combinations -- salad with seaweed, ginger tamari dressing and blue cheese? Need to rethink that creation. But the kicker for us was the size of the wine pour. For $14 you get less than 4 ounces. Visualize the smallest possible white wine glass filled halfway. Go for the view or if you're going to Scullers, otherwise skip it.

Great service- Avi our waiter was extraordinary! Food was average. Drinks were expensive and on the weak side. Rooftop bar of hotel was a nice pre- dinner spot for cocktails with a nice view of the Charles River.

Upon entering the restaurant, we were very warmly welcomed into the restaurant by the hostess. The restaurant has a nice ambience with views of the Charles river & service was attentive even though it was a very busy Friday night. We were surprised by a visit from the executive chef, who informed us of some upcoming concerts at Scullers -- we'll be back!! (FYI, parking is easy in the garage - it's under construction but it's not a problem)
