BOA Steakhouse - Sunset
Never again. The most overpriced meal I’ve ever had. Good wasn’t good. Dessert was stale. They add a 3% additional service charge for wage increases and then tax you on it. Then you get to pay $17 for valet parking WITH validation! $430 bill for 4 people without any alcohol. Shocking.
Best on sunset
Best steak and lobster
Best host and managers
Service is the best
Great place. Amazing food
We went for my birthday dinner (3 days ago) and Were STILL talking about the food. AMAZING! I can’t wait to go again.
Amazing all around experience. Service was nothing short of the ultimate
Slightly cold reception at the host stand and our table was not ready for the 4 of us so had to stand around while it was done. That aside on a busy night out server David was outstanding and truly personal. One may say flawless. The food was fantastic and Overall we had a great evening. Value for money may be Personal in nature but for me was a 8 out of 10.
Read all the reviews about hit & miss service & they were spot on. Waiter was a little pretentious, but not horrible. We went on a Friday night for Valentine’s Day and I was expecting a complete nightmare, but it was better than expected as far as chaos goes. We ordered a table side Caesar and were told by waiter that they were backed up, so we settled for one from the back.
Pricey but worth every penny!!!
Great experience for the type of night
Everything is good expect the portions of food is on the small side
It was fire. Food was delicious. A little expensive but great tasting food
Great celebration for my son’s graduation...food was wonderful, wait staff and hostess were great. Will definitely be back to Boa on our next trip to Los Angeles.
So good!!! Our waiter who made the salad was the best
The table next to us was loud and acted like a bunch of kids and the restaurant did nothing to stop the loud behavior. It ruined the evening as we could not have a discussion at our table without being interrupted.
Food is good, but we found it a bit overpriced. You can get the same quality for less in many different steakhouse. Overall the atmosphere and the meat were fine.
Enjoyable experience. Food and service were above average for similar types of facilities.
Amazing meal. AMAZING service. Our waiter was fantastic.
My steak was far too undercooked. My stomach was sick all day after having dinner there.
Great business meeting steak house or just for fun
Great service! Food of course was wonderful.
Great food and service!
Booked a table through your site for the second time at BOA, both times they had my party wait for 45-minutes. I don’t know if it’s a BOA issue, or OpenTable issue.
Great service and great food!
There were 7 of us and we had a wonderful evening dining outside! Was delicious and service was great!
Over 45 minutes wait time before seated - service unfortunately not good
Another great experience at BOA. The service, lead by Lance Reed, was exceoptional. Always good to see Bradley making that amazing caesar salad...even added a Kobe Bryant touch.
Service was a little slow, never offered dessert menu and never acknowledge it was a birthday celebration.
Waiting times were long.
I have had so many steaks that were simply better than the steaks we had at Boa. The food was good but worth the price. The service was good but they acted to rushed and busy. The table side Caesar was amazing though. Probably wouldn’t go back.
Love BOA! Only minor complaint is that I wish they would enforce their dress code. Diners next to us in t shirts, basketball shorts and sneakers.
Everything was AMAZING! Can’t wait to come back!
Good experience and we definitely recommend that.
Little disappointed based on its reputation. Food was decent.
We went for the dine LA experience. Each course was delicious. We also had crab cakes, truffle fries, brussel sprouts and the grits. The grits were creamy and perfectly seasoned. The brussel sprouts were fresh and had the perfect amount of balsamic. The meal was perfection. One of our favorite was the tableside ceasar salad. We all commented it was our favorite caesar salad of all time. The sweet potato tortellini was very tasty. The seafood course had a fantastic selection of crab, shrimp, scallop and muscles . The wygu beef melted in our mouths. The baked Alaska was a show with flames and liquor. It was the perfect ending.
What made the experience perfect was the wait staff. Shaw our server was exceptional. He was attentive, fun and friendly. We all lived him . We also had the best singing salad maker ever. Bradley. He also gave us our baked Alaska fire show. These fabulous waiters made our night.
Terrible service. Long wait times in between courses. The only thing that made the wait time worse is the waiter never checked on our table. Awful
Dine LA menu was great, the Wagyu steak was so salty but our server was kind enough to replace it.
We were late for our 8:00 pm reservation, they were kind enough to honor our reservation, my friends arrived at 8:35 pm and we were seated at about 8:45-8:50 ish. Make sure to alot enough time when you dine at Boa, we finished dinner at around 11:45pm (5-menu course, 6 including the amuse).
It was amazing! Will for sure come again 👌👌
Not as this place used to be. Food not at par.
Nice place. Good food and service.
Love eating on the patio.
With the exception of some really hard undercooked yams, everything else was great! They took the yams off the bill.
Would go back in a second. I rarely eat beef but split the porterhouse for two. so good there are photos of me ripping at the bone with my teeth like a wild animal.
The waiters are really pros. The table side Caesar salad is exceptional.
Definite thumbs up.
