BOA Steakhouse - Sunset
5 stars. Absolutely lovely.
Extremely expensive but the food was excellent and the service outstanding!
Delicious everything was perfection. We started with the wedge salad and oysters. Our main course was ribeye and salmon. Simply perfect
We were celebrating my birthday and wanted to try the sunset location. I enjoyed everything from the waiter (James I believe), to the live music to the cocktails, the fellow patrons and of course, the dinner.
Always excellent service. And best NY steak in LA. Armando is the man - top notch customer service.
Overall concept as expected and within the concept frames outstanding performance
Service excellent but food was mediocre at best. Prices are to high for the quality. Caesar salad is supposed to be the best and it wasnt very good (the Caesar salad man, Bradley, was very nice & entertaining though). Alot of great steakhouses in LA but this is not one of them.
I had friends in from out of town and we went here for one of their birthday dinners. I always enjoy boa, it’s one of the more reasonable steakhouses in the WeHo, BH area and it is always consistent. Great food and drinks and high quality service.
Celebrate client booking a movie
I've been to BOA many times before but hadn't been for a couple of years. I was shocked by how it had changed. It used to be a great place to go for a nice meal and the service was always good. It has completely changed. Not only was the food not good, we had 2 glasses with chips and the spoon that came with my coffee was completely crusty with something disgusting. Neither myself nor the two people I was with will be going back.
The restaurant and service was great! I would highly recommend.
The food was average and over priced. There are better steak houses . Best part was the outstanding service in a beautiful setting.
Beautiful restaurant! The service is always excellent as the staff is very attentive. Our server Basil went a step above. The food is consistently delicious. Thank you for a lovely evening!
Head hostes needs an attitude adjustmet. I ask a simple question about my table, the question was answered in the vaguest way possible. I was then dismissed and taken to my table. Server and salad guy were great! Again the head host as needs to remember that we’re paying her paycheck. I guess a party of two spending over $500 isn’t good enough for her. On a side note, best filet steak and lobster mashed potatoes in town!!!
Had the best time at Boa. Food was excellent and our server Jay made the entire experience memorable. Highly recommend this place!
The Salmon was amazing. Excellent service and the food was all prepared juat right. All staff had a nice way about them
Probably the best steakhouse in LA. Steaks were delicious and cooked to perfection! A must try when in LA.
Amazing restaurant!!!! I highly recommend.
It was rather hot in the outdoorish section we were sat in. There was no airflow due to the awning being shut due to being rather windy. My wife also was bitten several times most likely by mosquitos. Food was very good and service was just average.
Everything about our dinner experience was First Class! From the Hosts to the Waiter to the Bussers it was a flat out Perfect Evening!! The food was amazing I recommend everyone try the table side ceaser salad and the table side porterhouse for 2!
Thank You so much to David F. For making my sons birthday one for the books!!
Went on a Saturday evening for my birthday dinner. Saturdays are crowded and very busy. My steak was good but the lobster mash were very very soupy. Our waiter took forever to check back.
Tbh worst food I’ve ever had
The hostess had called the day before to confirm reservation. She ended the call snootily emphasizing how the restaurant has a strict dress code “ business casual”. To our surprise there were lots of people in shorts, tennis shoes, abercrombie T shirts and just plain old jeans. We were seated in booth that was worn out with food crumbs on the seat. The service for this caliber of restaurant was lack luster. Would never go back and never recommend to anyone. There are so many nice and hip place to eat in LA. BOA on sunset was overrated and overpriced for the fine dining experience we wanted for our friend’s 40th Birthday .
Great steak house I the heart of Hollywood.
Just flying through LA for the night. The Hubby and I wanted a good steak dinner. My server at the Edition suggested BOA. Everything was so yummy and amazing! Service impeccable! Table side Caesar was so delish! Had a little kick, which I can get into. Steaks with the added sauce were on point. Dessert sorbets were so tasty and original flavors made them fun! If I’m ever in this part of town again I will definitely come back weather a date night or a night out with the girls.
Really, really, really love Boa. Food is delicious and the service is great! Actually happy people working at Boa and not just pretending to be nice like most other places in LA. It's always a treat when I get to eat here. Definitely recommend the filet and table-side made Cesar salad!
It was the best steak we have ever ate and I hope to be back again. Thanks a lot.
Great ambiance and vibe as always. Service is top notch and the dining selections were varied enough to satisfy everyone. The patio is best and it offered an intimate yet fun aspect to our experience.
Excellent service. Very good food. Will be back
Boa as usual was fantastic from beginning to end. Everyone was very friendly, our server was knowledgeable and amazing and the food was cooked to perfection. I had the petite organic filet with blue cheese crust and my sister had the rib eye. We shared the Brussels sprouts, truffle mashed potatoes and had a drink called save a pair that was for breast cancer awareness. We had a show to go to so we didn’t stay for dessert. I’ll definitely be back.
Food was excellent, prepared to perfection
Server was very good, friendly, professional
Cocktail lounge and service a bit weak, not very attentive
it took at least 15 min for a cocktail server to take our order
Amazing place. It was perfect for the occasion. I still wish they put on the east coast
Terrible. We had been to BOA in Santa Monica and had a great experience, so we were looking forward to this and what a disappointment! Baked potato was hard as a rock and the server offered to bring mashed potatoes and we were okay with that if it could be quick - it was not. The mashed potato came out as we were finishing our overcooked steaks that we would have sent back had someone checked on us sooner, but we were hungry. Corn side dish had too much spice and was also lousy. Wish we would have gone to Mastro's - I wouldn't return or even go to another location after this awful experience.
As always the chef and staff, makes this one of my favorite places to dine. The upscale and vibrant atmosphere, couple with great food is a winning combination.
Overall is was a good experience. Food was good enough for me to come back. My only suggestion would be that the staff pay more attention to the customer. Our waitress was very nice but after our food was brought out she only came back once to check up on us and that was it. I had to ask a staff member to please call her back to get us our bill because she basically abandoned us. In that note, the Hispanic gentlemen who I think was the bus boy deserves a raise. The gentlemen was always making sure we had plenty of water and that we were enjoying our meal. Kudos to him. I wish I would have gotten his name.
My third meal at Boa, first at this location.
Every time is worth every penny, my ribeye was cooked to perfection I chose peppercorn crusted with signature sauce on the side was just amazing. Ideal portion by price, got all 3 mash options lobster mash was my favorite. Get veggie sides is my suggestion or salad to have a balanced meal.
Amazing service and great food !
