Great service and dinner. Started with Lump Crab, Crab Cake, and Prawns for appetizers. For dinner we had 2 petit filets and tomahawk steaks which were cool perfectly. Sides were Brussel Sprouts, Fries, and Au Gratin potatoes.
Would definitely recommend dining here.
Always an enjoyable meal... business meal or catch up with friends. Easy to talk but also fun to people watch. Both food and service equally really great!
We absolutely loved Boa. Our service team consisted of Justin(?), Jay and Jourdain and they tag teamed to be sure we were well taken care of all evening. The managers stopped by our table to inquire as to how our evening was and were gracious and welcoming. The food was fabulous, wonderfully portioned and well plated. We enjoyed the entire meal from the table side prepared caesar’s Salad to the baked Alaska. We are looking forward to returning and highly recommend Boa. Thank you for the experience!
This place was off the charts good! The hostess was wonderful, the steak was outstanding and the outdoor section is beautiful and has heaters for any season.
Armando did a great job defusing a difficult hostess with Grade A attitude. My colleagues and I eat out 12 times a week as consultants and this started off as the worst experience I’ve had in my 20 year career. Armando did what every manager should do and apologized, comped drinks and apologized again.
Food was amazing as always, great Regional Wygu steak.
Highly recommended, excellent food and best service!
We've been the BOA in Santa Monica previously and the seafood tower is good. On this occasion we had the bison ribeye which was as good as at the Santa Monica venue but the porterhouse steak was tough and very chewy.
Great place as usual
The ambiance was great for a date night. Everyone was very attentive and our food was perfect.
Birthday dinner celebration. Everything was fantastic, good company, good service, wonderful atmosphere, delicious foods.
This was one of the best steaks I have ever had. I have been to many Steakhouses around the world. This Cajun Ribeye was delicious. From the time we enter exited our car from Valet we were treated with the best customer service including the doorman, hosts. Our server Cat was excellent. She was given three tables at once and took care of all of our needs. Bravo Cat, well done. The excellent service didn’t stop there the General Manager David, what can I say. What a pleasant man. He approached the tables with style and respect. He genuinely seems to take interest in the guest. David greeted our table and asked was this our first time. He came back by once we had our drinks and when we got our food. He asked could he get us anything else and asked how was the food and waited for a real response and not just rush off to the next table. I would definitely give this place an A+++ for service, food taste and quality, and atmosphere. We will definitely be back. Awesome time had by all.
Everything was enjoyable, my Birthday Dinner was special because of the awesome staff/service and the ambiance of BOA. 5 stars!
The greatest Caesar salad and steak I’ve ever had (21 day dry aged ribeye medium-rare). The truffle mashed potatoes are divine. We celebrated an anniversary and they gave us a complimentary glass of champagne and dessert of our choice. Our bottle of Pinot noir (2016 Elouan) was exceptional. The service was wonderful. An absolute LA must if you like steaks, be aware of the high price!
Although it was lunchtime, it was amateur hour. The entrees arrived while we were having our salads. No one wants cold steak frites.
Very good and would definitely recommend
We came for my boyfriends birthday, we’re from out of town, and we absolutely enjoyed the food. Our server was great! He was knowledgeable of the menu and gave us great recommendations. If only I remembered his name.
This was by far the worst dinner date I’ve ever had. I made reservations for my husband’s birthday, we arrived to be seated at a dirty table with crumbs on the seat. Our food took an extremely long time to arrive, and when it did our food was cold. The waiter wasn’t friendly from the jump (seemed as though he didn’t want to serve us), we started off with the most popular Caesar Salad appetizer (for the taste, but more so for the show) however this server was also not enthusiastic about serving us. No communication, no eye contact, kept his head down, all while dropping items on the floor. I looked around and saw other waiters putting on a show, smiling, interacting with their customers while making their Caesar Salad. At this point I’m ready to complain to a manager, and leave but I didnt want to ruin my husband’s day! My first thought upon exiting the door was...I should have made reservations at BOA Santa Monica!
I was truly impressed by the beautiful restaurant and the wonderful staff. The food is outstanding and the Caesar salad made at your table is hands down the best ever!!
Have been there many times. Had unusually abysmal service. The waitress even challenged me when I brought it to her attention
It ruined the evening
Very good restaurant enough food
Always consistently good over the years. Others in our group advised the filet steak was not as good as usual - too fatty this visit. Maybe the cattle from this month's vendor needs to lay off the junk food! :)
Can't say enough about this West Hollywood gem -- clearly my all-time favorite LA steak restaurant. Absolutely amazing preparations of steaks and seafood. Great unique selection of sides to accompany. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful,,,,, not to mention beautiful which describes all the staff members and most of the guests in this very popular haunt among celebs & stars. BOA WeHo is truly one of LA's finest restaurants.
Excellent service. Will definitely be coming back.
The food had no flavor literally. Ruth’s Chris is 10x better
I always come to have amazing lunch at BOA on Sunset and did has always been outstanding.
However this time everything changed
The best selling and most delusion Tuna Melt ever has been taking off the menu and now they have a new chicken capreese burger.
I have never had such a poor tasting food at a high end restaurant BOA is know as.
It was so bad and tastes sour and herby and chicken was grinder like a burger and you can’t taste mozzarellas cause it is melted.
I truly hope that chef will take it off the menu and replace w the old amazing favorite
First time at any Boa and the Sunset location did not disappoint! Beautiful space with fantastic, friendly service! Definitely a WeHo/Beverly Hills vibe so you can dress up or dress down a bit (as long as it's trendy!) and fit in with the crowd. We had the petite filet and Chilean sea bass. Both delicious but if I'm being 100% honest, I've had better but this is not a knock! Just not the best I've had but it's up there! One word of advice, don't drive up in anything larger than a half-ton truck. I drove my 3/4 ton diesel truck and the valet wouldn't take it. Said it was too tall, even though it's at stock height. I was lucky to find a meter right near the restaurant but I doubt I will be that lucky again!
The service was excellent and the ambiance was very nice. However I was very disappointed in some of the food. The fresh made Cesar Salad was amazing along with one of the sides on our main course, macaroni and cheese. I was not happy with the quality of the tomahawk steak for two. The meat had an awful lot of fat and the portion size was small. The truffle mashed potatoes were cold and to be honest tasted like instant mashed potatoes. My first experience with the food was much better than this last experience.
Reliable for good food and service. Quite pricey to go everyday but once every couple months a nice treat.
Steaks were very under cooked when we all asked for medium well.
But the manager was so sweet, she made up for it!
When it comes to LA cuisine. BOA has no equal. From the moment you enter this restaurant, you are stepping into culinary paradise. The food is great and the service is better yet. The decor is divine and let’s not forget the wine list. Simply said. An oasis in a dessert of mediocrity.
It was our first time in BOA for a birthday celebration and our steak came out medium well very dry but we ordered medium. The service was slow and the only thing that was good is their drinks and the ambiance of the place but the food needs to be work on. I rate this place a 3 star.
Had an amazing time dining at BOA on Sunday. Great food & ambiance
Great service, great food! Came to celebrate a birthday. Pretty full for a Sunday night which is a good sign.
Amazing food and perfect food. The cesar salad is one of her best in Town. Steaks are awesome. Finally the waiters are very proficional.
Had to send my steak back. Some food was cold. Not impressed this time round. Probably won't go back.
Great food, excellent service !! The steak's and the tableside caesar salad were fantastic. Our server had great recommendations for the wine pairing as well. We will definitely be back. We were there for my wife's birthday and were treated to champagne and dessert by the restaurant !! :)
One of my fav, we always go here for dinner with friends and family! Food are all amazing, as well as their service.
We enjoyed our meal. Initially it wasn’t a good experience because we were seated next to children. Not sure why they did that. It was great food except the crab scallop potato. Fabulous steak! And 1/2 wine. Great service too
The waites seemed over worked and out waiter was spacey
