We were extremely disappointed at the food and service of this BOA location. Out of 4 steaks, 3 of them were over cooked or undercooked!

Although our waiter was good and the restaurant wasn’t that busy - service was slow. We had to wait a long time for drinks, apps, and food to arrive.

For the price they charge, I expected superb food and service which is what I’ve often received at the West Hollywood location.

It was a belated birthday celebration. Nina and the staff took great care of us - delicious food, a new chopped salad, excellent wine, and a complementary cookie. Thank you.

I couldn’t continue with review w/out completing the entire survey. We were seated promptly but left promptly. The booth next to us were obnoxiously loud, disrespectful and offensive. They were screaming profanities. We left w/out causing a scene. With all the shops being boarded up starting 11/3 up we felt the least friction the better.

The Australian Wagyu Beef was outstanding. One of the best steaks I've ever had. The mashed potatoes were dreamy. The waitress was perfection.

Excessive noise was due to traffic as our table was located on the street corner. Recommend you request a table that is not located there. The staff were amazing and very attentive. All were doing their best to make this a great dining experience. Food was amazing!

They worked extremely hard and effectively at making us feel cared for and protected. Additionally, the menu, service, quality, and adult beverages are superb.

Trying to offset COVID situation and it’s impact but it was so mediocre that I can’t help but note the steak was overcooked and the size was smaller than expected. It was not as waiter described as we went with an off-menu shared cut. Side dishes were not seasoned and offered little to no flavor. Highlight was Goat Cheese Baklava. Went downhill from there. Didn’t recover even with birthday dessert. Cookies were very dry and chocolate sauce watery thin.

Food was top tier per usual, server was really good at coming to check on our table as well as asking if we needed anything and if our food was good.

I loved everything about it

Service was horrible. Food was cold and did not have much taste to it. Been coming here for over 10 years. Not sure happened. Waste of time and money. My group felt the same.

We were celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday and it was my first time at BOA. I had put in the notes in several places that we were celebrating his birthday. The food was excellent. Everything was cooked to perfection, but the service was subpar for a restaurant of this caliber. First off, our appetizer never came and our entrees came our extremely fast. I was expecting a nice dessert with a candle like the couple next to us had brought to them(it was coincidentally someone’s birthday next to us and they brought him a dessert with a sparkler candle). When our dessert came out, nothing. I’d try BOA again, but I was pretty disappointed with the service. Hope it’s better next time.

There were three of us. Two of us ordered a $160 steak to split. The other person ordered salmon.

We ordered our steak medium. It arrived cooked through and gray to the middle except for a few places in the middle. Like tiny places that were not overcooked.

Then we couldn’t find our waiter. We asked some other servers for help, and 5 to 10 minutes later our waiter appeared. We showed him the steak that was overcooked, and he said he didn’t think it was very much overcooked.

We had to poke around in the steak and show him different pieces before he finally accepted that it was overcooked.

He then offered to take the steak away and cook a new one which he estimated will take about 15 to 20 minutes.

By this time, our friend who ordered the salmon had pretty much finished their main course.

I had already eaten parts of the steak that were acceptable to me, because I will eat well done meat.

But my other guest with him I was sharing the steak only eats medium, so there was almost nothing for her to eat.

The offer made by the waiter to cook a new steak and bring it to us later on was nice, but so much time had passed we didn’t want to just sit around waiting for a steak for one of the three members of our party to eat.

Maybe there was no good solution to this.… I think they should’ve offered us a discount on the steak. Not 100% off. Just a portion. Because it wasn’t a very good experience.

But the waiter declined to discount anything. So I paid the bill and it’s entirety, with a 20% tip, so it all came to $450 for three people.

But given the fact that one in our party did not have a main course because they cooked it incorrectly, I think the whole experience was a rip off.

I live two buildings down from the restaurant. I entertain and dine out a lot in this area.… I will never go to boa steakhouse again

Service was excellent. Food was decent but nothing special. Disappointing given the $$. Paying mainly for the location, which is harder to appreciate given covid.

Delicious food, service was amazing from the reception area to our waitress! Outside sitting area very comfortable and adequate.

The food was delicious. The steakhouse itself is in great location across from the beach. Awesome to people watch, but you can’t really see the water. We left one restaurant to go here due to the extreme heat and being in the sun. This place allows you to enjoy the outdoors with its open air style setting, but does an amazing job protecting you from the heat and scorching sun. Our server was very attentive and provided excellent recommendations. We plan to go back.

Food and drinks were fantastic. Service was great, and the view at sunset is awesome. Definitely one of my favorite steakhouses!

My mom’s Birthday

Other than the smell of pot smoke in the area the dining experience was decent.

Had a reservation set for 8:30 PM, and was not seated until 9 PM. Everytime our party asked for water (which I think is something very simple), we ended up having to ask for a refill at least twice or three times before someone came and actually gave us water. When we finished our meal, I asked the server (Brandon) for one more glass of water. About 5 minutes later, the manager, William, came to our table and pretty much asked us if we can leave because they're running behind on schedule (he gave us his business card and thanked us for "coming and seeing him"). Our bill was over $500, I expected to have better service. The food was great, however, it does not make up for the crappy service we received for the amount of money we spent. Not to mention, our group was part of the minority, and I truly believe we got the worse end of the stick because of that.

Pleasant ambience....wish they set up more like fine dining for the cost but the food was delicious....crab legs, bone in steak, corn and garlic mashed potatoes..I won't do dessert..not worth it.
