   The wait was long but the Latino Male Host was so nice and accommodative that it made up for the wait. His customer service was awesome! He really made our experience eating there and enjoyable one! We also had a great waiter. I will definitely be back with more friends!

   So glad we had a reservation! It was packed!! The staff was super friendly managing every table and the long line waiting to be seated. The food was super fresh and tasty. Kudos to the Executive Chef and owner Carlos on creating a great environment and when it was very busy, came out & started seating people, including my party. I’d definitely go back.

   After spending $225 They had the nerve to ask us were we finished because they wanted the table when we were stilll drinking our drinks. Will never go there again.

   Sadly, I cannot comment on the food at this establishment. We arrived for our 7pm reservation at 6:55pm. Despite the fact that there were at least 5 unoccupied tables and only 3 seated parties, it took over 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us. When we finallt inquired about our table, we were brusquely told we needed to wait. We did, for another 10 minutes and still were not given any information about when we would be seated. When we asked again for our table, the owner said we needed to be patient and wait by the door. Needless to say, we left and will never return. This kind of service is inexcusable and unforgivable.

    We went Sunday, December 31. Be on time! Very crowded and thankfully we had a reservation but two of us four were late. Hostess said wouldn't hold table more than 10 minutes. But she wound up seating us as soon as she could and we appreciated. Its tight but cozy. Great breakfast food and interesting choices. Coffee was great and so were servers despite crowd.

    Small place and very noisy (energetic), so not a place for quiet conversation. But southern cooking was excellent. Cornmeal crusted halibut and turkey meatloaf were very good. Fried chicken portions are enormous — tasty but a little dry. Biscuits are incredibly good.

    I really enjoyed this restaurant , but unfortunately my sister's fried chicken was over cooked and dry. The service was great, the staff was very friendly and i love the decor. Overall it was a nice experience minus the chicken.

    The brunch is probably one of the best value and food wise. They make the most luscious, rich and creamy Shrimp & Grits outside of New Orleans. The chef is amazing and his wife greets everyone in the friendliest manor. You feel welcome and the portions, well plan on having a meal tomorrow too! I live in the neighborhood and my friends were visiting from Colorado. They did everything but scrape the plate!

    Ok...made a reservation...an hour and 15 minutes later got a table. It was hot...it was crowded. The staff did everything they could to manage the stress of waiting...but they need to figure that out.

    Made reservation and added that it was for an Birthday which was never acknowledged and I found disappointing.. even after letting server know . Food was delicious (especially biscuits) but big portions .

    This is my second visit to Blvd Bistro. Very much satisfied with both visits. Service was great, staff is personable and attentive. Food was fabulous. Had the shrimp and grits, both occasions delicious and filling. Had the seasonal pumpkin pancakes, don’t know how long they will keep this special but get it before it goes. Seating arrangements may be a bit tight so be willing to gather close, a bit noisy at times but adds to the atmosphere. Worth the wait. Best to make reservations. LOVE IT!!!!!

    Service is excellent and friendly. I had the hamburger--excellent. Pork chop was delicious and huge. We have been there several times and will return. Noise level varies--front quiet, back noisy. Patio is very nice weather permitting.

    The taste of the food was pretty good - very rich and full of lard, oil, or butter. The presentation between the dishes varied. I got the breakfast biscuit with fried chicken and my dish looked like someone might have jostled the plate in the kitchen. I looked at the table next to us who got the same thing and their presentation looked a lot nicer. Coffee wasn’t the best here. It didn’t quite taste burnt but in NYC, there’s a lot of good brewed coffee and I just wouldn’t put this in that same category. It’s a good corner spot if you live in the neighborhood.

    Very disappointed with wine and drink options Food was salty and not flavorful. Do not get the Bistro wings - too salty, fatty Fish Po Boy was ok 7 Cheese MAC and Cheese was good, a bit greasy but expected with 7 cheeses I’ve been here a few times fo dinner to give it a chance but it not worth the $$$ when there are so many resturant choices now in Harlem. Brunch is better

    So glad to have Blvd Bistro on the "go to"'list. Brunch in Saturday with out of town friends was fantastic: great biscuit and sausage gravy; egg white omelette, breakfast sandwich with the same great biscuit and blueberry pancakes

    Great service, tasty food. My family dined here before a show at The Apollo. We live in Brooklyn, and it felt like quite the treat! I had the shrimp and grits, and they were some of the best I've had - creamy, healthy-sized shrimp, a little kick ... delish. 😉

    Really appreciated the free round of bellinis while waiting for a table. We had to wait for a little while (15 min) even thou we had a ressie. My friends and I really appreciated the gesture. Also our server was fantastic. We’ll be back def!!

    I have been to Blvd Bistro several times over the last few years (most recently back in February) and this is the first time I was disappointed in the food. Our appetizers, fried chicken sliders were good but our entrees: wood smoked chicken and Mississippi cornmeal crusted fish were both bland. This is a first for any Blvd entree I've ever tasted. It was completely absent of seasoning and my succotash was underwhelming. My daughter had the wood smoked chicken and mentioned it was bland as well. Our dessert choices were better, chocolate cake and the apple cobbler. It is my hope that it was an off night but I will stick to the occassional brunch.

    there were many things, we waited an hour for credit card machine to be seated , but even though we had cash, they waited an hour to accept cash, the fish was overpriced and had a stinge to it, later my stomach hurted, the appetizers were burnt, overall not a good experience, my husband grits were cold had to send them back , the brunch was 8/10 but dinner is 3/10.

    we all loved the food and drink and service and atmosphere - all the fried food was light and outstanding, especially the okra - had to order a second round the biscuits with sweet butter were unbeatable would like to go back even if we are not going back to the Apollo on the same night!

    Solid brunch options and wonderful staff. I even met the head chef, who came out from the kitchen to say hello and chat with customers during one of my previous visits. As for menu items, highly recommend the catfish and grits and crab cake benedict. Also, the biscuits and maple honey butter are to die for!

    Had a great brunch with my daughters. I couldn't decide between the pancakes and the biscuits, went with the biscuit sandwiches which were great. My daughter had the shrimp and grits. Pricey but the shrimp were cooked perfectly and the grits the best we have ever had. So creamy. Service wasv on point with server Halli appearing to be new, but she got answers for any ?s she couldn't answer. Constant refill of water and coffee. Want to go back for the pancakes next time I'm visiting!

    Food was excellent. Service was very good. Staff was very helpful, patient and caring with my husband who is somewhat disabled. However had a 11:30 reservation and after waiting 15 minutes was told we'd have to wait another 15 minutes. Unacceptable. After complaining we were seated. Restaurant is small and crowded and the music a little too loud. The food is BLVD s saving grace. Excellent brunch.

    Great location - inside a townhouse, with a small outside seating/waiting area, very cozy. There were four of us, and three ordered shrimp & grits - delicious! Very creamy, cheesy and flavorful. My fried chicken was super crispy and not at all greasy. Could have used more salt/spices in the batter, though. Very nice wine and beer menu. The staff was absolutely amazing. So warm and friendly, quick and thorough. Wish other restaurants could take care of their customers like BLVD! Will be going back and recommending!
