Food was NOT hot. Service was SLOW. Had to ask for everything. Waited 6 minutes for a steak knife. Twice baked potato was watery inside. OBVIOUSLY PREVIOUSLY FROZEN!! Very nice place, have been there often. Had the Fried Oyster app, BS salad and the Stuffed Founder. All very good, but the Flounder was dry and had to request a little Tartar sauce for it. (Crab topping was superb).

Food is always very good. There were several signature menu items (soft shell crab, short rib, steak frites) that were not available likely dud to Mother's Day crowd, but you can't really go wrong with anything on the menu. I enjoyed the Two Way Tuna. Service is good...again, understandably slower than usual on this holiday occasion. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Service to our table for two on Mother's Day was terrible compared to others around us. While the food was excellent, service was inattentive. Our server only appeared at table to take our order, and to tell which items were sold out at 7 pm, others on there "team" delivered the food. Nobody offered to refill our water or tea, something done automatically for tables around us. We had to request rolls after seeing them delivered too our neighbors. When our original server finally reappeared to ask if we were ready for check, we had to request to see the dessert menu. It then took over 15 minutes to learn that the kitchen was out of our preferred choice. The only item delivered promptly was the check. The"team" approach to our service was a failure. With four people in charge of our service, nobody was in charge. Nobody took ownership of our experience or even recognized the magnitude of the team failure. Every party even if two deserves an experience that matches the experience of a special occasion.

We had a lovely Mother’s Day dinner, including fresh and delicious mussels and fried oysters for our starters. The warm rolls were a big hit while we waited for our entrees. My only disappointment was that they were out of flounder, which was my first choice. Others in my party ordered rockfish and scallops, which were both simply prepared and flavorful. I had very tender beef short ribs. We finished with some Taharka ice cream. Ryan was a great server!

It was Mother’s Day and the restaurant was VERY busy, but my reservation was handled promptly and our server was very accommodating. Took a little longer than normal to get our food and it wasn’t as hot as we like…. but it was good. Bluestone has rarely disappointed me over the years. Still one of my Top 10 👍🏽

Always have a great meal with excellent service at Bluestone and like to go there for special occasions. However, yesterday was the exception. Our server was either overwhelmed or inexperienced. Long wait time from the kitchen and orders were incomplete or incorrect. Thankfully the manager, Steve, intervened and tried to make things right. We will be back but it may be a while.

As usual the food was excellent. There could have been a bit more crabmeat in the cream of crab soup, but the flavor was excellent. One of our crab cakes was barely warm, but other than that, the meal was wonderful. Recommend the key lime pie for dessert

Everything was great except the noise level. Very hard to hear the others at my table. Food was excellent. I thought the arugula salad was a little pricey for what I received. Add a few vegetables to also it give it some color.
