Bluegrass is a casual restaurant located in Highland Park. With a cozy setting nestled into the west side of town it is a true destination dining location. Complete with a warm friendly bar and an American flare, Bluegrass blends in a little Southern influence into its repertoire. The wine and beer selections are all American, along with a full back bar, all hand selected to echo the quality of the fare. Aside from a beautiful setting, the restaurant has extraordinary food and service with a remarkable value.

    We all thoroughly enjoyed our dinners. Our server, Luke, was thoughtful and attentive. Our whole dining experience was memorable.

    Just a fabulous restaurant. Joni knew it was our anniversary and was so incredibly thoughtful. I had the Crawfish Etouffee and my wife had the Jambalaya. Both were as good - or better - than anything we've had in New Orleans. Joni brought a Bananas Foster dessert at the end of our meal that was so great it made our heads spin like the young girl in The Exorcist. Our very favorite restaurant!!

    This is a special place. We have never had a bad meal. I have tried several item and all were delicious and their presentation was terrific. I love the tilapia sassafras, 1/2 order and it is plenty of food. I also like the carbonara, and the TuesdayTrio. I always take leftovers home. Try the bread with the cinnamon butter.

    Outside seating was outstanding. We ordered a pork belly burnt ends, crab cake, ribs, baked beans, corn risotto, gumbo and everything was great. !

    We loved the selection of food and drinks. Everything we had was seasoned well and overall balanced in flavors. The shrimp, pork belly, and grits were outstanding!
