A very long wait in an empty restaurant for some very poor food. We arrived at 12.05. We ordered at about 12.20. Food finally arrived at about 13.05. Don’t mind if it was worth the wait. It really wasn’t. The brisket was really dry and stringy. I have had good BBQ brisket- it is nothing like what I received. My mother and wife were equally disappointed in their food. We finished eating and then sat with the plates on the table until 13.45, being ignored by the staff. I gave up and went and asked for the bill. A bad experience not to be repeated.

Sat downstairs in the window which is very cafe style. Meal said served with a raw slaw which sounded lovely but was actually 2 teaspoons in a soggy 3cm paper pot. When you put in your fork in you got the paper bottom as it disintegrated. Note tip it out on your plate! Brisket was quite tough so disappointing. BBQ wings were the best bit. Very disappointed.

Awful experience. There was only two tables in the restaurant including us. Food took ages, arrived cold. Got sent off and was ‘redone’ it was the same food we sent in. We ate what we could because we were starving. Waiter didn’t charge us after such a poor experience so I can’t really complain. Was supposed to be a nice meal out for my birthday, what a flop!

Seemingly one person in the kitchen and one person front of house. Not many people but slow to get food out. Our burger was not hot but edible and the brisket portion small (but tasty). Table next door sent back all their burgers as they were cold. Had to wait to find the front of house staff to get the bill, eventually waited at the front bar for this.

We think our order was forgotten, as a member of staff came to apologise that the wait was so long. This wasn't a huge issue, but the food was only lukewarm when it did arrive. When we paid the bill, the staff did take 10% off to acknowledge we had to wait longer than usual without us having to say anything, so this was appreciated. Overall, it was disappointing.

Great place to eat In the centre of Windsor. The burgers are amazing. It’s a tasty beef burger in a lightly toasted brioche bread bun served with wafer thin onion rings. They have a large menu with other things too. The staff are friendly and helpful and a good atmosphere while your eating. It’s worth a visit, we will be back !

Booked a table for an anniversary meal, It took 25 mins for anyone to come and take our order for food and drinks. Only after prompting someone finally came over - It was pretty quite.. only 3 other tables were occupied in our area and the staff just seemed to be chatting Behind the bar. Food came quickly but that was pretty much the only positive thing. We ordered 2 burgers and a side of Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was cold, the cheese on top wasn’t even melted and tasted very basic. The burgers were fine, but again weren’t exactly hot! We sent the Mac and cheese back and after 10mins it came back, barely any hotter. When booking I also mentioned it was a anniversary meal, but there was zero attempt of anything special. So pretty disappointing overall! Wouldn’t recommend.

Lovely food at reasonable price. Chips were a bit off / undercooked but every other time I’ve been they’ve been fine. Service also was not brilliant yesterday.
