Bluefins Falmouth, has a focus on fresh, locally sourced seafood, coupled with inspiration from local Cape Cod farm ingredients. Great food and service. Wildly overpriced. 50-100% more for comparable quality sushi at any place off Cape or in Boston. You are paying for the location. If you are splurging, go for it.

The food was amazing!!! Service impeccable. I highly recommend Bluefins. Try the Bao buns, lettuce cups and dumplings.

I really do want to like this restaurant, I’ve been here 5 or 6 times and disappointed every time. This particular visit the service was horrible! After being seated at a high top in the bar area, it took another 10 minutes to get menus delivered. When we ask for menus, the waiter only brought the specials list. We had to continue to wait to get his attention And ask him for the full menu. We then order drinks which took 20 minutes to arrive. All we ordered was a glass of wine and an old fashioned. The ambience is just OK. Artwork is definitely cool, but the restaurant is very narrow so feels extremely crowded even when it isn’t. I’ve been in this business my whole life so I completely understand if waitstaff is slammed and can’t get to a table, but this was not the case. There were several open tables and seats at the bar. It really was not busy at all. We got asparagus fries for the appetizer, which are definitely delicious. But the rest of the sushi we ordered was just OK. Definitely not worth it. Drinks are super expensive and so is the food. There are lots of other great restaurants to check out.

Thank you for your honest feedback. You're right, we fell short that night. The delays, lack of attentiveness, and overall disorganization were not reflective of the standards we hold ourselves to, and it shouldn’t have happened. We had some internal missteps that evening, and ultimately, that’s on us in management. It’s our responsibility to ensure things run smoothly, regardless of staffing or the day of the week. I understand you’ve given us several chances already, and I regret that we haven’t delivered the experience you deserve. If you ever do decide to give us another try, I’d personally like the chance to make it right. Either way, we’re taking this seriously and using it as a teaching moment for all our employees including management to improve. Michael Hamilton General Manager

Best sushi around !! So fresh but always packed and hard to get a table at. Bar is a bit of a tight squeeze so if you want a table book far in advance

It’s a great restaurant! Food and service are outstanding. Prices are very fair. The Main Street location is great. There is public parking across the street which works very well. Our reservation time was honored perfectly . The noise level was a little challenging. Having said that, we were there over a very busy July 4th weekend. The noise issue would not prevent me from coming again.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff, who were attentive without ever feeling overbearing. The interior strikes the perfect balance, modern coastal elegance blended with a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Whether you’re seated at the sushi bar to watch the chefs work their magic or at a cozy table with friends, the ambiance sets the tone for an exceptional meal. We got offered the bar seats, which didn't disappoint. Every dish we ordered was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The Signature Bluefins Roll was a highlight, so fresh, with layers of flavor and just the right hint of heat. The Crispy Rice was bright and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Beyond the sushi, the menu features a variety of cooked options, and we were blown away by the Teriyaki Scallops, perfectly caramelized and paired with a delicate sauce that didn’t overpower their sweetness. The cocktail list was equally impressive. The bartender was able to accommodate the fact that I don't drink alcohol and wowed me with an amazing drink of neither too sweet nor too plain. Service throughout the evening was top-notch, friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the food. Bluefins feels like a place that truly cares about every detail, from sourcing fresh local ingredients to creating an experience that’s both sophisticated and approachable. Whether you’re a sushi aficionado or just love great food in a beautiful setting, this is one spot you’ll be eager to return to again and again. Highly recommend!
