One of our favorite restaurants in Chatham!….the hostesses were accommodating, the bartender Velco was attentive and friendly as always (and handsome)…. Food was delicious-need to put the lime cilantro shrimp appetizer on the permanent menu!….Great spot to go on a Sunday nite!

Bluefins Sushi & Sake Bar in Chatham's little town area was a delightful discovery. The Blistered Shishito Peppers were savory and delicious. The Dragon Roll looked amazing, and my wife enjoyed it but found the sushi selections a tad less than overwhelming. The Miso Marinated Atlantic Salmon was cooked perfectly, and the accompanying Okinawa Yam Puree, Yu-Choy, and Yuzu Butter was savory and delicious, and the puree had great flavor. I think I was more impressed than my companion but she has been to a lot of great sushi spots. The service was friendly and attentive. A great spot for a quick dinner in Chatham. Pricey for what you get but no surprise in a seasonal vacation spot like Chatham.

Although the sushi was very fresh, the servings were minute - supermarket sushi is positively generous in comparison. Bluefin used to cut nice slabs of raw fish but they have decided to be very 'chintzy' in size [despite keeping prices the same]. The only dish we had which we thought was excellent was the asparagus tempura. Noise level is very loud! Not conducive to conversation. As for oysters on the half-shell, all that was available was oysters from Bass River in Yarmouth - and those are not worth eating - very small flavourless oysters and it was unfortunate that mignonette sauce was not an option. Bluefin used to be one of my favourite restaurants in Chatham but I've now written it off.

The Specials menu included a scallops option for $24, which I ordered as my entree. It was the only thing I ordered. The server did not let me know that the portion was only 3 very small scallops, or that it was an appetizer, not an entree. I was frustrated to end up with an overpriced, tiny amount of food that didn't taste particularly good.

Excellent sushi; our favorite place on the Cape to go for this. Large portions. Service was mediocre. Our server could have been more personable and friendly; lack of enthusiasm or what she was doing. Hostess needs some lessons on customer service and being more accommodating. We had early reservations at 5:30 and the restaurant was mostly empty. We weren't even seated yet when she brings a family of 4 to sit right next to us two feet away, even though the whole side of the restaurant was empty. We returned to the desk and asked to be seated on the other, quieter side of the restaurant away from the bar. She came across as being put out and not pleased with our reasonable request.

Appetizers were very good. Good flavor on the Thai chili shrimp. We ordered for mains a shrimp pad Thai and a cooked roll. The pad Thai was soupy and had no seasoning. The roll was overcooked but tasted good. We asked our server to redo the pad Thai and it was much better but still soupy.

Always love coming here! Brought my partner as he had never been a and he was blown away. Could not recommend stopping enough enough. Had set up a reservation and for a text message as we were pulling in that our table was ready early which I though was just amazing customer service as well. 10/10

The rice wasn’t its usual texture . A bit stickier - too much sausage and the pad Tai was a little over cooked and too much dressing. My sushi roll was prefect and asparagus was the tables favorite . BF is my fav place to go in Chatham so usually all the food is perfect but this time was a first . May have been a new chef getting use to the recipes .

Bluefin consistently delivers great food, but for the first time last evening we barely had an opportunity to lay down our chopsticks before some Waitstaff is trying to grab our plates. No consideration for the individual or the pace of the table. repeated requests to take plates while still chewing items. It was dreadful. It has become intrusive and simply impolite. The noise level is almost unbearable between canned music plated too loud and people yelling over it to hear themselves. We have always loved Bluefin and bring many guests there with us, over many years. Last night has made us re-think it. It gave us all indigestion, despite great food.

We have been to Bluefin many times over the last 5 years and the food is always exceptional and the service overall is very good. The only thing is we do try to pick our timing as the restaurant can be quite crowded and the noise level high. Usually an early evening reservation can help with that.

Sushi is fantastic. The bartenders make great drinks. Nice atmosphere. Right on the main drag in Chatham. Place is great if you want to come ofr a drink or a full dinner. Korean short ribs are outstanding.

We had a delicious dinner. We usually get a few apps: Korean ribs (excellent) and tempura asparagus (very good) and then we shared a few sushi rolls which were fresh and tasty. We had a high top for 6 which was doable but a little tight seating. We live on the cape and we'll ll return again.
