We had not been there in awhile. As usual, the food, especially the coriander crusted tuna, was terrific. The place has become much livelier in the past few years or so, with a booming and loud bar business only a few feet from our table. The pounding, relentless music only added to the din, causing significant communications challenges both for our otherwise wonderful server and ourselves. Bluefins feels like a different place now — still with its unmatched sushi and equally top notch fish entrees — but no longer the fairly quiet, primarily food focused place it had been. If you are looking for a lively new bar scene on Main Street Chatham, this is it. If calm, conversation-focused dining is your thing, however, this may no longer be the place for you.

We had an a delicious meal at Bluefins. The sushi was excellent, tasty and fresh. We also enjoyed the green beans and rice as sides. Jeremy was our waiter, he was friendly, efficient and was an excellent server. We always enjoy our time at the Bluefin when we visit the area.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3/5) Food was good, but the experience felt rushed. We finished dinner in just 37 minutes, with courses coming out too quickly. When we asked a simple question about the menu, the response was a bit dismissive. Service was polite but not especially warm or attentive. Hoping for a more relaxed pace next time.

We had the best experience at bluefin. The food was phenomenal. Felt like we couldn’t order a bad meal if we tried. Lastly, Delaney, our server was outstanding. Hats off to Bluefin.
