The staff at Bluebird takes care of you! Wonderful brunch with a beautiful view overlooking Central Park. We’ve loved this place when it was just me and my wife, we love it now that we are bringing our toddler.
Bluebird London
A really fun, bright spot on the 3rd floor of The Time Warner building. The menu is a bit limited, but all the food was very good. While we expected a more English pub atmosphere, the ambiance was much more pleasant, bright and civilized. The service was very attentive, very warm and accommodating. The truffle risotto (no, not British pub food) was delicious as was the beef Wellington. The juicy, perfectly cooked burger was also devoured. The side salad was fresh Boston lettuce with hazelnuts and was excellent as well. The side of broccolini was good. The rich, dark chocolate sorbet was yummy. The wine and champagne choices are well curated and the cocktails are inventive.
We truly enjoyed Bluebird for the food, the service and the atmosphere (a triple threat, a trifecta) and we will enthusiastically return.
Had a business lunch....no better place. what a view! and delicious food. Had the vegan soup. Me and my friend each ordered salads: 1 beet, 1 avocado greens. Both were a little sparse and bland. so we combined the two and they together were excellent! Really special place. the service was excellent. and given the difficult time of Corona, they were extra sensitive and exceptional. Definitely a be-back@
It was a pleasant evening. The Jewel of the city. Amazing food outstanding service. Hardly recommend for any occasions
Very good food. Inattentive service. Had to ask several times for more coffee. Had to find server for check. Nice guy, just not a great server.
Bluebird London NYC is my new favorite restaurant - it is the perfect in every way - the service, the food, and decor!! Definitely check it out - highly recommend it.
Music too loud when we came in.
I am there to talk with friends not listen to music.
5 meals, all very tasty. Duck was wonderful. Snapper was perfectly cooked. We did request a reduction in music volume, which they kindly obliged.
always a nice experience when taking clients out - cauliflower salad is my fave xoxooxo
Excellent, menu and service
Food was excellent, but portion size was small. Menu was fixed for Valentines Day, so will need to go back for regular menu.
Beautifully plated meals that taste as good as they look
Good if you want a good location and a good vibe, but don't go there for the food. Perhaps breakfast or lunch would be better.
Good food, excellent service, nice view.
We ordered off the restaurant week menu. Portions were very small. The leeks were lackluster in flavor. The lobster bisque was too salty atop the shrimp and mini potatoes.
Beautiful. It was our son’s 7th birthday and the staff made it very special for him. Thank you!
My BIRTHDAY
I’ve been to Bluebird twice. Once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times service was unusually slow.
This well located restaurant has some nice menu items and seems to be very popular. It is, unfortunately, wildly noisy and not conducive to civilized dinner conversation. Some staff are very helpful, others less so, so the service is inconsistent and often indifferent.
Restaurant week menu very limited and portions extremely small. I needed to eat a lot of bread (which is very unusual for me) in order to not be hungry. The desert (sticks pudding) was delicious. The portions on the regular menu were better but still small. Food was very good. Atmosphere lovely, great view, tables nicely spaced, service professional. Prices high.
Excellent food, attentive service and spectacular views! Looking forward to returning again soon.
.. bit of a let down .. good place for lunch .. tea but service for dinner the service is a bit .. well .. poor
Thank you for your feedback, I look forward to hearing from you in order to improve the details of the experience.
Ambiance was lovely. A friend and I decided to try lunch for restaurant week. The appetizer was wonderful and the pork entree a little disappointing. A glass of wine was $18 and a little pricey, but all in all, it was a very nice afternoon. The staff did not bother us and we really have a chance to visit. I would try it again.
We went to Bluebird thinking they had a Restaurant Week menu. Nope, not on Sunday night, but they were kind enough to allow my husband to order off of the pre-theater menu, which appealed to him I ordered a la carte. I started with what they call a "side salad", which was actual a rather large bowl of butter lettuce with nuts and a mild dressing. It was very good and fresh. He had the soup and fish and chips, also fine. My fish was very good too. And service was great.
The problem for us was the noise - pounding music and screaming children. The place was dead, mostly empty, and perhaps they turned the music way up to make it more lively. The children's parents couldn't have cared less. For what could have been a lively meal, it was not. We really were very disappointed.
Thank you so much for the feedback and I'm sorry you were so disappointed by the ambiance. I understand how frustrating that can be when you want a quiet dinner. We will be much more aware of the types of music playing when there are fewer people in the dining room. Have a wonderful day!
Wonderful food and setting. Nice view of Columbus Circle with statue of Columbus himself directly at window level.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Great selections on the menu. We had the oyster and shrimp appetizers which were good, but prohibitively expensive. The duck and fish entrees were also quite good, inventive as we couldn’t identify all of the ingredients, but similarly found the prices to be higher than reasonable for the amount served.
Great food, except for burger that had a long hair in it. Sent back with waiter, he did not offer replacement or a comp dessert. Did take off the check. Waiter is a frustrated actor and was obvious. Food overall was terrific.
A wonderful find in Columbus Circle. Friendly, helpful staff, delicious, beautiful food, and beautiful space.
The service was lacking. We sat for quite some time with dirty dishes in front of us. Even after we asked to take something home they returned with a to go package and still left the other plates sitting on the table. The sole and schnitzel were good as was the side salad and haricot verts.
Second go - this time with family- and a success again.
We enjoyed dinner but came back for a wonderful brunch.
Very satisfying location with really high quality cuisine and touches of London to savor.
A relief from the bustle and pressure of the shopping crowds just outside the door.
Top notch staff, a wonderful selection of food, and one of the best views in town.
Excellent Service. Deliciously prepared food. Entrees timed correctly (not on top of each other). Beautiful uplifting decor. Can't wait to go back!!
Perfect place for any occasion. Lovely decor, good food and well trained staff.
Great New Year’s Eve venue
Nice ambience, especially if you have a window table. Food was better than expected given the prior reviews but nothing special.
Quality meals properly prepared and presented. A great addition to the Time Warner location. Would gladly return.
I had wait awhile for my table but when I got there the service was amazing. Everyone was kind and helpful (even though it was Christmas Day) the food was very tasty and enough for 3 courses.
Nearly 2 hours in total just to have a couple of kids menu and sandwiches, this screwed up our day.
When we pointed this out, barely got an apology but things started moving and nothing was comped.
Great atmosphere! Food was excellent in every way.
We had two tables of 7 for the holidays. Excellent food. Friendly staff. Great wine list. Interesting cocktails. And the decor is colorful and whimsical with a gorgeous quartzite bar and view of Central Park from front dining area. Thank you for a special evening!
Bizarre place. Arrived with no reservation, and despite a lot of empty tables, I was told that the wait was 20 minutes. Made an on the spot reservation on Open Table for literally 15 minutes later (there was plenty of times to choose from) and when I challenged them about honoring the Open Table reservation, the lady at the desk consulted with the manager and then seated us. Ridiculous place. Food ok, service was ok, ambience is nice, but with that kind of attitude, the place is going to die. No reason for patrons to be treated thusly.
Very nice brunch/lunch. I’m happy to report both the service and the food has improved considerably. From when you first opened! Will def be coming back!
