Blueacre Seafood Ratings and Reviews
Holiday weekend in town. Table was ready on time.
Very very good service. Our server was outstanding.
All the meals where good, zero complaints from anyone.
The pricing is super reasonable for a downtown restaurant with the high quality of service. We had a 10 year old with us and they went out of there way to make something for her.
Always great - the food, the service, and the ambience. I take clients here for lunch. There are many options, not just seafood, and I am never underwhelmed by the quality of food and service. I also love that they don't cram us in a booth. We all know that for business lunches, we want a table with adequate elbow room. They have this down! They also offer a prix fixe lunch, which is a great deal for three courses. I enjoy having smaller courses and more variety, so this option suits me well.
The part that bothered me is because we were a large group and automatically the server would get 20% they were not attentive. Had to continually ask to have my water refilled, open bottles, etc. A few us ordered the same meals yet when they came they all looked different. The fried chicken was yummy and so was the pecan pie
Horrible, horrible service... waited for more than an hour after ordering for my entree with no explanation or attempt to mitigate anything. Largely ignored by staff even after receiving my food. My waiter was cold and unfriendly with inexplicably no desire to do anything resembling service. I couldn't understand, but after receiving my check everything made sense. On my check was a mandatory 20% service charge for my party of one. Servers here obviously know they don't have to do anything to earn a healthy 20% tip and it shows... The high end prices are paired with service bested by any Denny's or McDonald's. Will never return
Very disappointing. No table at 7:00 as reserved, waited 30 minutes at the bar, where the single bartender was swamped - the hostess came before we could order drinks. Shown to a table where we waited about 15 minutes before we were asked if we had been greeted by our waiter, which we had not. At this point we considered leaving, but figured that the were understaffed that night and as we had both eaten there before, it would be worth the wait. The waiter was pleasant and finally got us drinks. Food was uneven - chowder and appetizer were excellent, mains were much less so. Oysters way overdone, salad mediocre.
TLDR: Way too crowded, way understaffed, mediocre food.
Did not have an ambience, setup, or service of a nicer restaurant. Despite reservations, we were seated in the bar area, which was busy and loud. Unfortunately, the service was not great, with just ok food. The shareable side of brussels sprouts is not reccomended and one order of fish was extremely bland. It was a disappointing night out.
Was there with a party of 8. Some of the appetisers (crab cake, fries, was really good, others ok. Everybody liked main course (blackened cod, Salmon). Wine was overpriced. Seafood itself also expensive. Espresso machine was broken. Service on pouring the wine needs more attention
Stopped for dinner prior to concert at the Paramount which is short 3 block walk from there. Server asked if we were going to the show and paced the dinner accordingly so we departed at just the right time. All food was excellent. 4 amuse-bouche, two shareable appetizers, $65 bottle of Oregon Pinot Noir, 2 salads, 4 entrees, 1 shareable side and 4 cocktails came to about $90 per person incl tax and tip. Very competitive with other nice restaurants in Seattle. Tables not crowded together, lots of crescent booths for those who like them, yielded minimal noise for easy conversation. My 1st time but I will be back. The Cioppino was excellent with just the right amount of heat.
We cam here for an early dinner before the ballet and our service was wonderful. We each ordered different dishes so we had a variety to sample. I had the seared scallops and they were hands down the best I've ever eaten. The steak was also very good. We ordered two of the salads that were great and had the seafood tater tots which were a nice starter. They had an extensive wine list.
Disappointing meal. Fish and chips too greasy and unflavorful. Alaska razorback clam chowder starchy thick and where were the clams. No flavor. Bread was good. Salad dry with a horrible salad dressing that looked more like tartar sauce. Skipped the dressing. Overpriced and with a 20% tip built in to the price....a place to remember never to go back to.
NIce Friday night in Seattle, I arrived early and they was able to accommodate my early arrival. started with the Carb cocktail, then entree of the nights special Ivory King Salmon, with roasted almonds and cherries in a brown butter sauce. AMAZING. cooked Perfect.
