Centrally located in downtown Seattle, Blueacre is the quintessential American seafood restaurant drawing upon the vast array of wild seafood available from the United States coastal waters as well as carefully chosen sustainably-farmed freshwater species, oysters, clams and mussels. Blueacre Seafood will feature a full-service oyster bar and in addition to all things aquatic, farm-fresh meat, game, poultry, vegetables and artisanal cheeses. Brushed nickel accents, rich wood panels and warm leather booths reflect Blueacre's American seafood heritage. Classic handmade cocktails are shaken in a comfortable bar, well stocked with American spirits, craft beers on tap and an all-American wine list. Blueacre is Seattle's downtown seafood destination.

Great service by Lucas. Swordfish Oscar sounded so much better than it was. The shrimp was breaded when grilled made more sense. The chocolate pecan pie was fabulous.

Food was mediocre and presentation felt 'dated' (my cup of soup was served on an old-fashioned paper doilie. ugh.) I was also a bit confused as to why they would serve pannacotta with a fork. 🤨 Service was good and our waitress was attentive, but ambiance was lacking and it was incredibly loud -so much so that we raced through our meal to go somewhere else where we'd be able to carry on a normal conversation without having to yell across the table at each other. 😬

Excellent meal. Like most downtown restaurant s no way for 2 people to escape for under a hundred.

We celebrated a triple birthday office lunch. We lucked out that it was Seattle restaurant week and go to order from the special priced menu. The food was fresh and well presented. We got complimentary desserts which were quite delectable. The menu included some non seafood items which was good for some of the group.

I went to Blue Acre for lunch with my husband, the food was awesome, really tasting and high quality. This restaurant is amazing for seafood, I really enjoyed the experience and we will come back for sure.

Restaurant was very loud and crowded. Restaurant week special was a mixed bag.
Octopus salad was tough and chewy.
Swordfish Oscar featured fried shrimp on top.which was weird.
The swordfish was fabulous, as was the asparagus and sauce.
It was served on a bed of mashed potatoes which was also unusual.
Dessert was chocolate pecan pie and it was just average.

The oysters in the Shell were very delicious and fresh. I took my wife out for Restaurant Week, I think a better meal for the price could be had and enjoyed then what you get for Restaurant Week. The staff was very friendly.

Restaurant Week 3-for-$33 is a good value. Octopus salad & shrimp bisque appetizers, monkfish & swordfish entrees all excellent. Server, Rhe, was friendly and efficient. Only disappointment was the pecan pie--crust a little too firm, filling a bit dry. (Will still order it again, though!)

This restaurant adds 20% tip included.
Why don't I have a choice to put what I want to leave for lunch and for the service, rather than the restaurant decides as mandatory? - Tips should be the clients' choice, not mandatory.

Service was inexperienced. We ordered a bottle of wine and the server did not reserve the sediment in the bottle, the full bottle was poured in the decanter resulting in sediment in the glasses of wine. We drank the wine and asked for new a new glass because one had too much sediment in it, and the glass never came until another server happened by about 15 minutes later and we asked again. The food was mediocre to good. We had the king crab carbonara and there were several shell pieces that we bit down on, which was not good, and we had king salmon which was good, but we have had better. We also ordered the shrimp tots, which were good. The chowder was good but it is much better at the market on Pike and better value. Overall wouldn’t return for the cost, experience, and food. Was disappointed since this restaurant was in Seattle’s top 10 for seafood.

Went for restaurant week. The shrimp bisque and chickpea fritters were both quite tasty. We went for lu ch and the biscuits they gave us were sadly cold and hard but the swordfish was enjoyed by both of us. They also overcharged us by $18 but quickly adjusted it when I told them. Overall a good meal.

had a small oysters sample, all of them were outstanding! for the meal I had the king salmon, very well cooked, maybe slightly too cook for my taste, but still delicious! had that with a nice glass of albariño. Service was on point, be aware they tag automatically 20% service charge on the bill, which is fine cause that's my standard tip (unless the service really sucks).

We went for Restaurant Week, and were not disappointed. The meal was excellent. The Swordfish was melt in your mouth tender, and the lemon mashed potatos were delicious, along with the bernaise sauce! Would order again if they had on their regular menu.

First bloody's and oyster shooters. We started with the herring and the fried smelt, we loved both. Then the razor clam chowder, followed by the halibut. Both were very good and halibut so fresh. Service was on point. Definitely recommend!

Subpar service. We had to wait over 25 minutes for our main. Not once did the server nor the manager come over to explain why there was a delay. We had to flag down the manager to ask and only then we were told it was coming out in another 5 min. while we watched other tables who came after us get their food 10 minutes before us. AND to top it off, we were then told that the restaurant adds an automatic 20% gratuity to the bill which I think is absolute BS since the service did not warrant this. I would not recommend this place solely on the lack of management's ability to handle service delays like this more appropriately and the forceable 20% service fee.

I booked this restaurant at the suggestion of my concierge at Hotel Max and indicated this on the OpenTable form. The service I received at this restaurant was worse than I've received at Olive Garden, with food to match. This was my anniversary weekend, and, not only was this night not special, the food we were served had undisclosed coconut in it which set off a severe
allergic reaction with my wife & ruined our night. Add in the noisy kids in the restaurant and the bad table we were given right by the street to make this a night we just wish we could "do over."

Service and our food were great. Restaurant made great effort to accommodate our needs for seating and access. Assistence maneuvering stairs with walker even though there is a ramp in restaurant was helpfully provided. Ramp is a hike unless in a wheelcahir.

Dinner with out of town cousins who wanted seafood. Many great entree choices to choose from and each was excellent when they were served...we just had to taste each others'. From the oysters to start to the bourbon chocolate pecan pie to finish it was a delicious meal for my cousins to take memories of back to Colorado.

We've been to Blueacre several times over the past five years and on every occasion, we really liked the food, the service, and the ambience. The great thing about the restaurant is the menu keeps being changed with delightful seasonal items, which let's us keep coming back to try out the new dishes which are created with great passion and creativity.

We have always held this place in high regard so we were shocked when the salmon arrived well done. When it was replaced by a "correctly" cooked piece, it was actually barely warm on the inside - not the medium rare that is promised. The beet salad was oddly too sweet. The wine list incorrectly described a bottle of wine so we ended up with a bottle we weren't expecting. The kitchen must have had a turnover in cooks or it was a bad night - whatever the reason, we won't be dining here again.
