Met a client here gut dinner. Food was expertly prepared. Fish was perfectly cooked. Ambience was ok.
My only complaint, if it rose to that level, was that I had may a reservation weeks in advance, but when seated we were put in the lounge at a table that barely fit our entree plates.
It made for a tight fit.
However, the food was so good it made up for it
Service was OK but not very attentive. When we initially sat down we sat there for quite a while before anyone even acknowledged us. The clam chowder was really good. The two other people I was with had salads with crab. They said it was OK.
Celebrating Moscow Ballet Nutcracker weekend.
Food and especially the service was excellent. This was the second time dining here, and i will definitely return.
Great Food, service lacking little follow up and mistakes during service. poo service may be due to already mandatory gratuity add to the bill, based on our party size of 6. this was my annual Friday night dinner after a week of conference, may rethink choice on next my next Seattle visit.
Service was very slow on a mildly busy Wednesday night. Appetizers were on point, but some entrees were not so good. One piece of salmon was cooked to dry, and another was practically raw on the inside. Both were ordered medium. This was my second and last visit.
Another exceptional dinner at Blueacre. At our table we had both the shrimp and mussel appetizers, the troll caught King Salmon and two separate meals from the Bite of Seattle menu (The spare ribs and the Coho Salmon). All of the food was excellent, the wait staff was attentive, and the wine list was excellent. We have only had wonderful experiences at Blueacre (and Chef Kevin Davis's other restaurants) and look forward to our next visit.
Excellent service and food. Had a great time!!
No one can match the high quality of the seafood and very professional wait staff. We had the fresh salmon and kudzu black cod. Outstanding flavor and fork tender. Oysters are plentiful and top notch. The chocolate dessert was delicious and gluten free. Even though the restaurant was very busy, the service was attentive and food was piping hot!
I love the Medewell Salad and the Gumbo.
Please bring back your Prosciutto and Melon appetizer - I have been missing being able to order that for awhile now!!!!!!
The food is outstanding! Best seafood in Seattle! The waiter was very nice and helpful when we saw him but he appeared to have too many tables so there were some gaps in service.
We had a wonderful meal. The Salmon was grilled to perfection. the service was excellent. Our waiter Gregory was outstanding, very pleasant and helpful in helping us select our dishes.
Brett gave us 5 star service! He checked with the chef about seeing if something I didn't see on the menu (it's currently only on the dinner menu) could be ordered for lunch. And he checked in with us about everything, yet we were able to have a 2.5 hour meeting without feeling interrupted. He was so kind. He was delightful, as was the amazing salmon and dessert. We love Blueacre!
Excellent service and food was very good. I ordered the King Salmon and it came with a very good cherry sauce, but I wish I had ordered it without to better taste the great salmon - the sauce was a bit overpowering. Upscale and pricey - save this one for that special night out!
Server knew she messed up. Avoided our table so she won’t have to deal with us.
I went here because of restaurant Week and I was pleased. The squash salad was good and the salmon was even better.
Great spot to check our restaurant week. Great service and menu
We were there for Restaurant Week so our choices in the menu were limited. I expect, during Restaurant Week, to be wow'ed by the Chef, trying new dishes and showcasing the great dishes that any restaurant is known for. I'm from Philadelphia, and during our Restaurant Weeks, the truly great restaurants are packed because the chefs are doing just what I described above. Blueacre was good and I'd go back. But I was not swept away. The service was prompt and friendly, however, and that made our meal memorable.
Expensive for what we got. Charging for bread not ok. Portions small. Cioppino at 7p they were out of clams. Very overpriced!
Food and drinks were amazing!!! Our server was awesome and was very attentive!!
Consistently good for the three years I have been going.
The menus are are classic Seattle pan-asian, skillfully prepared.
Blue Acre is on my list of restaurants every time I return to Seattle.
Seafood was delicious...had happy hours oysters on the half shell...1/2 price of regular and they were divine!! Service with Brittany was exceptional....thank you!
Last minute reservation we’ll accommodated. Server excellent. Attentive. Came for Alaskan King crab. Not available. Had Alaskan Halibut on a bed of creamy mashed potatoes with gravy and mushroom on top. Would have preferred them on the side. Server refilled our waters regularly as well as my soft drink. My husband was allowed to sample the lager he had before ordering. Overall very good meal. Large parties, which made hearing my partner’s conversation often.
Unfortunate the king crab is not an actual leg or two of crab. Rather the serve you knuckles And ends and didn’t actual give you a crab leg. When it was brought to the waiters attention he barely apologized and said yeah I will let the manager know to change the description cause you may not get a “crab leg”. For the price you would expect at least one full crab leg if not two. And the sides had no seasoning or love in their preparation. Overpriced and not good. Sad as I was really looking forward to the restaurant being awesome based on other reviews and general vicinity to fresh seafood.
Intermittent attentiveness from wait staff, though super friendly, they seem stretched too thin. Slightly pink King Salmon order came out nearly raw, sent back, then came out perfect.
Vastly overpriced food of average to poor quality, pushy service, overpriced wine and loud environment.. never return nor recommend it to anyone!
My wife and I had dinner here before a show at the Paramount Theater. We weren't impressed. The entrees we order was just okay and the white wine served was cool, not cold. I ordered 2 different varietals about 20 minutes apart. I think they don't keep their white wines in an area dedicated to keeping white wine ice cold. With so many dining options in Seattle one would think that every restaurant would be on their toes with service and quality of food offered. The service was good but the food and wine were the let down.
The food is good and the service
Food for eight was out in time and lovely presentation. Server “D” was terrific
i wasnt expecting a 20% service charge part going to a higher level. but the service was good, so i can live with it. Food was nothing special and a bowl of chowder for $12 sure should knock my socks off, it didnt. staff seems to be comfortable with serving more alcohol those who show signs of having enough. bettet optiokns exist.
It was a great evening out. I had the pasta with shrimp, which was fantastic! My wife had the Petrale Sole, which she thoroughly enjoyed. A bottle of Rombauer Chardonney completed our meal. We did not plan on desert, but ordered the Carrot Cheesecake. The presentation took us by surprise and was EXCELLENT! We talked about how great dinner was the whole of the next day...
Amazing Seafood in a beautiful setting in Downtown Seattle
Excellent in every way. A great lunch at one of our must stops while in Seattle.
Starter salad did not show up until after the mains. For the price one would expect white table cloths on all the tables as only half had them. It seems like it could be a fading establishment, hope I am wrong as the seafood is excellent.
Great dinner and service. Tia was an awesome server!
We shared two starters and a main dish .. one of the starters was excellent the other two dishes were ok .. for the price I would have hoped that all the dishes would be excellent
Both the food and service were outstanding!
However, it was so loud, my guest and I had to shout at each other.
The fellow greeting guests at the door needs serious coaching! No smile, clipboard in hand he stares at you then gruffly asks if he can help? This is the second encounter with him- doesn't set the stage for a great dining experience. Food was good and service was good.
Great seafood with always good service. Nice friendly wait staff-my family and I eat there at least once a month. Wine steward excellent if you are in to trying new things.
Don’t miss the crab cake and the sourdough appetizers. There will be room for the excellent entrees. Unfortunately, there was no room for the amazing-looking desserts.
