View Private Dining DetailsHave not been there in awhile, and the menu changed. Preferred the old menu. Otherwise still good, excellent service.
Great restaurant! Great value for portions size!!! A fun, lively place to be with friends and have a good time!!!! Amazing beer menu and amazing bourbon menu!!!
The portion is small even for girls ; the sauce is not as tasty as expected.
Delicious food followed by great jazz.
When Blue Smoke opened, it had a more sprawling menu that was fun to explore. Choices now are more restricted, but the food is good, if short of transformative, and the ambience is lively. Blue Smoke is still a good-time restaurant.
Awesome as always
Loved the food. Excellent barbecue. Two noisy infants nearby somewhat interfered with our enjoyment.
Awesome experience & food. 2nd time and no less fantastic! Celebrating our soon to be 9 year old & the staff was great! Can’t wait to come back!
From start to finish, the experience was memorable! Wonderful service, knowledgable staff and wonderful food. I think we ordered one of everything! Don't miss the deviled eggs!
great service, limited kids menu, overall pricey but good
The front desk employees were very friendly and professional the minute you walked through the door. The waiter was welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable of the food and beverages. Also, he was very attentive! :-). Thank you for making our family night outing successful! We will truly visit Blue Smoke in the near future!
Blue Smoke has always delivered a great dining experience. Friendly staff, great food (especially the corn bread Madelines) and a serious selection of BBQ meats and Bourbons. What's not to like?
Amazing food.
Amazing staff from the host/hostess to the entire wait/bar staff. Food is very good and
drinks are excellent!
Really good, excellent food.
I had what was called chopped pork, but it was really pulled pork. The meat was really tender and tasted good and the sauce was good, not too sticky or vinegary, just right. However, the pork and beans could have been better. The beans were almost crunchy they were so undercooked. The pork that was in there was pretty much just fat and unrecognizable bits of meat. The flavor was a bit spicy, enough to make my fave sweat, anyway. My primary problem with Blue Smoke, was that the barbecue options were “family style” and I was alone. Apparently, they don’t want individual diners there. I ordered the barbecue anyway, but it was extremely expensive for one, and a lot of food was wasted because it only came prepared for 2 or more people.
A real find and a welcome change for NYC. Food was true Barbecue and service attentive and friendly. Appreciated the choice in draft, craft beers. I will return for sure
Great BBQ...beef brisket sandwich was outstanding! Wait service was even better. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
We traveled a long way....from Virginia....for this meal. Since we moved, a few year ago, we return periodically to satisfy our taste buds. The meal was worth the trip!
Fue muy bueno todo
Blue Smoke is a great dining experience, with delicious barbeque, and a friendly and attentive wait staff. Definitely recommended for dates, family, or business meals.
The food at Blue Smoke is truly great. But the service, makes the experience something worth coming back to over and over again.
Food came out cold. No one came back for our drinks order.
Food was delicious after reheat.
Easily I have dined at this Blue Smoke restaurant over two dozen times. However after a brief four year hiatus, I was glad to see my old-standby was still above board. The foundation of the enterprise still is the well prepared and flavorful meats. My table had the brisket, beef ribs, baby back ribs and the pulled pork. All were satisfied with them.
A good choice if you are looking for BBQ and comfort food - good mac and cheese and brisket. Food is served family style for the BBQ meats so we all got to sample several items.
Blue Smoke is the go to restaurant for our family gatherings. I've loved everything on the brunch menu, can't wait to go back for dinner.
As a displaced southerner, I love to come to Blue Smoke for BBQ, greens, and cornbread whenever I am in the city (which is not that often). Great menu and service.
Good food and service except the meat platter was a little cold.
ribs were good, waiters were friendly, cozy environment. But the fries were cold and soggy, nobody asked why I didn't eat the fries. Beside that, everything was good.
Service was friendly and efficient. Food was terrific. A great intro to American BBQ for visiting Japanese friends.
We got the baby backs (delicious) and the brisket (decent considering it’s NY). Corn bread app was a bit late but incredible, especially since they serve it super hot. Mac n cheese was par for the course. Generally solid though!
I've been coming to Blue Smoke for many years and it seems tired.
The food was as if it was sitting a long time, like a cafeteria, and quite unappealing to look at.
Our son was visiting from Boston, and he loves barbecue so we chose Blue Smoke. It was wonderful. He brought his three children, and it was perfect for them. The food is very tasty, and the cocktails are imaginative. There were seven of us so we ate a variety of things, such as brisket, chicken, hush puppies, and deviled eggs. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. This is a great, family friendly place.
Love the food always, the staff is friendly and amazing!
Everything was great. Ribs have gotten much better since they went to all baby backs.
I had friends in from out of town and for some reason they wanted BBQ. NYC and BBQ aren’t usually mentioned in the same sentence. If a restaurant can stay open for longer than 2 years in NYC they have to be good at something.
We were not disappointed in fact we were pleased as Blue Smoke was fantastic. I recommend the ribs and definitely add a biscuit to any order. Dessert go for the cheesecake in a bowl, it’s amazing.
Blue Smoke is a bit of BBQ heaven in NYC!!
You must try the wings!! Unlike any you have had before!!
Group of friends has been coming a few times a year for beef ribs, which were off the menu for a while but are now back. They are the best anywhere, we love them and have a great time every time we go. Also really good wings and brisket as appetizers. Big time thumbs up!
We went here for a business dinner and were not disappointed. The aroma as you enter the restaurant was amazing. If you were not hungry for BBQ before you entered you were craving it now. The food did not disappoint. Ample food for all and every meat that we had was fantastic. I would recommend this for anyone in the area. Great BBQ in NYC.
Great service and hospitality! Group of 6 arrived in waves and hostess was very accommodating. Server and wait staff recommended the family style meal and we were not disappointed!! Food was terrific and staff very attentive to our needs. 5 Stars! Rah Danny and staff!
