Drinks & appetizers business party of 4. Reserved a table, and was seated away from the bar, which allowed good conversation. Apps were great. Drinks were good.

Nothing really stood up from the place. Food was average and prices were on the higher end. Service was good but nothing above and beyond. They ran out of ribs which is weird for a barbecue centric restaurant. But other than that it was ok

We stumbled across this gem and were lucky enough to get a table at the last minute. Our server was phenomenal and recommended the cornbread Madeleines, which were out of this world. We also loved the burger (perfectly cooked and a TON of bacon!) The seasoned fries were incredible and the sauce on the wings (50¢ wings after 8pm - amazing!!) was sooooooo good. A delicious meal at a reasonable price.

Very good restaurant for authentic barbecue and an excellent beer/ drink menu. We stayed at the Conrad hotel, and this place is just steps away. The service was good; our primary waitress was busy, but lots of help from other friendly servers. The bbq chips with bacon and blue cheese dip was delicious.

We went to eat brunch with my 3 and 1 year old sons and their grandparents. The staff was accommodating and friendly. They even let the kids decorate their own cookies which was a big hit with my boys. The food was delicious and definitely warranted loosen the belt and taken a Sunday nap. We order over half the menu between All of us and there was not a bad dish in the place.

The deviled eggs weren't nearly as good as the reviews made them out to be. They ran out of the brisket which was disappointing but not as disappointing as the fact that there seems to be a lot of hype about this place which is good enough - not great. The cocktail was my favorite part of the meal. The cornbread was delicious. I had the special (bacon wrapped meatloaf) and it was far better the second day out of my microwave than fresh. The wings which the server raved about were slathered in sauce. My companions think we just ordered the wrong plates, but between the three of us having appetizers and entrees each, I'm not so sure. --Dessert is worth it.

I had originally reserved a table for 7 people but we had our VP join at the last minute so needed a table for 8. When I asked the front desk, they adviced me they couldn't seat us together. There were plenty of tables available they could've been put together but we were given plenty of excuses. After we took the 7 people table with 8 people squeezed, the manager came to offer another table that seats 8. It wasn't a pleasant experience especially since we had a senior leader joining us. We've been to the restaurant many times for team lunches and never had an issue in the past.

Really appreciated the kid touch. They checked his razor scooter at the door, brought a raw sugar cookie with sprinkles to the table for him to decorate and then took it back to the kitchen to bake. Gave him wiki sticks to play with and he was entertained while his father and I talked.

The cracklings are amazing! The Mac and cheese for the kids is a little too gourmet. He didn't like it because it "was too cheesy" but I loved it. It had a flavor of garlic and strong cheddar. The server happily exchanged it for smoked chicken which he loved.

The dessert was delicious the chicory and coffee anglaise for the beignets was delightful!

Went here with my sisters and 5 year old nephew. Didn't expect this place to be so kid friendly, but they are! Not only do they offer a great kids menu, they also bring out a raw pig shaped cooked and let my nephew decorate it with sprinkles then baked it for him! He absolutely loved it!! For us, the food was amazing! The deviled eggs were everything and more. The meat was perfection. Sad I didn't try the wings, but I'll definitely be back to do so.

An excellent restaurant with the sole reservation of the wine list which , although featuring american wines , does not include some wines from the eastern us (finger lakes, north fork, Virginia, etc). Some better value wines would also encourage some beginning wine lovers

I normally go the Blue Smoke in midtown but there were no available times for when we wanted to eat. This BBQ is well worth the trek. The service is flawless! No problems whatsoever. In combination with the BEST mac and cheese on the planet, this is always a MUST GO TO. The BBQ is spot on. Not over-smoked and dry like many places do. When that happens you are now paying for beef jerky. The ribs, brisket, beans, bread...all mouth watering! It's nice to know both locations have great service and excellent food.

Great place and vibe. I'm big on the Q and been around to most places and have to say it's good but not the best you will get. Brisket is excellent! Baby backs are a bit dry and overdone for me. Worth a try for sure but not sure I would return.

I recently had dinner at Blue Smoke in Batter Park. The hostess greeted us with the biggest smile and when I mentioned my last name, she remembered it was a birthday party!!! We were seated immediately. Our waitress was very nice and friendly. The food was really good. I had the fried chicken- yummy!! The cornbread was tasty and the ribs were delicious. I totally recommend Blue Smoke!!!

I moved to NYC two years ago and Blue Smoke's fried chicken dinner (hot) is my favorite meal I've found here. Everything I've tasted at this restaurant is delicious. The staff is great and super friendly. This is the restaurant I take friends when they are visiting from out of town.

Went here because my partner was attending a conference at the Conrad. Didn't expect to find anything noteworthy in such a corporate neighbourhood as Battery Park City, but Blue Smoke was a happy surprise. The atmosphere at night is warm and pleasantly loud - just the right volume of music and conversation to make it feel like a happening place, without being deafening. The staff are really knowledgable and passionate - but unpretentious - about their food and drink. The menu is an eclectic selection from various regions of the American South. Everything has a very hand-crafted feel, with a lot of attention to detail. The fried oysters were a standout, served with an interesting assortment of fresh herbs. We are not normally bbq rib type people, but Blue Smoke's ribs are really exceptional, succulent and nicely tinged with wood smoke. If you go, you have to try the corn bread madeleines recommended by our server. Delicious. Never had anything quite like them anywhere else.

Overall had a great time at Blue Smoke! The main drawbacks were the noise level was a little loud & I wished they had a couple more vegetable options for those who want BBQ but can't eat collard greens (health issue). Our server was good & so glad you guys had brownies on the fly when our birthday person wanted something else for dessert... thanks!

I was excited to go to the Blue Smoke in BPC but the food was a mixed bag: ribs were good, brisket, pulled pork and beef short ribs were dry. Sides were great and the cocktails were high in price, low on alcohol but yummy. I prefer Route 66 tbh.

Every element of our meal at Blue Smoke was excellent. We were in to celebrate my sister's engagment and were given the royal treatment by the service team and managers. The food is innovative while still maintaining it's southern roots, and everything was delicious! I would highly recommend the Blue Smoke Battery Park City location to locals and out of towners alike.

Blue Smoke is quickly turning into one of my favorite spots. It's around the corner from the Regal Cinema so it's great "dinner and a movie" option. I've had the spare ribs and fried chicken which are both excellent. Great cocktails and desserts, too. The staff is always friendly and patient when asked to explain menu items or offer suggestions. Prices may be a bit high compared to other BBQ places but worth every penny IMHO.
