Blue Ridge Grill Ratings and Reviews
Very nice on the inside but it had a odd odor, the outside needs some immediate work for the prices they charge. The food was good, BUT.....it got cold fast so heated plates should be a norm at these prices!
Lastly......if your going to charge these prices......the portions r just RIDICULOUSLY small, if I can go to longhorn and get a steak & lobster dinner at 60 bucks and have a bag to carry home, why would I drive 45 mins to this place and pay $70 more to eat a little, cold steak and lobster dinner, which by the way you have to pay extra for the sides.....it's included at longhorn.
What a lovely restaurant - seriously, everything was outstanding. The service, very good without hovering. Everyone loved their menu choices. All staff from the management to the valet was sincere and in alignment with being friendly, respectful, 'make you feel at home' type of feel good while you are there and after you left. I'd say it was pricey but that's because my husband ordered the most expensive items on the menu. My husband did say his steak was the best that he's had in the past several months - comparing it to some of ATL's more $$$ restaurants. I forgot how much I loved BRG so it won't be so long before we return.
Blue Ridge Grill remains our Atlanta favorite. The ambience is top notch. You could almost be at a mountain lodge. The waitstaff is attentive but not overly so. The food is just very reliably fabulous. The sea diver scallops are to die for. My husband had the dry-aged Kansas City strip and it was so flavorful and extremely tender. Highly recommend for a special occasion treat!
Boule, grilled trout, corn soufflé, molten chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream super to the max!!!!! But there is a but. I went to Tulane and I am familiar with Oysters Rockefeller, especially from Galatoire's. Your rendition is a pale reflection of the true New Orleans recipe.
My boyfriend and I came for a romantic date night. It was everything we could imagine and more. The service was memorable and very personable. The food was absolutely divine! I would most definitely recommend everyone I know to come to this remarkable establishment.
I have loved BRG for years ... but this $200 dinner for two (one a non-drinker) completely disappointed. Asked for charred $58 bone-in ribeye medium rare; it was burnt to the point the bone was literally breaking off like it has been burnt in a volcano, and the steak was so unevenly cooked (parts over well-done to parts completely bloody rare. The caramelized onions it came with were completely under cooked, almost raw. Yuck.
So sad, I have loved this institution for 20+ years but see no reason to return.
