Blue Ribbon Sushi is a vibrant Japanese restaurant and sushi bar located near Fenway Park in Kenmore Square, serving outstanding Japanese cuisine based in tradition and passion, including nigiri, sashimi, and chef-crafted maki rolls, all made with a selection of fresh fish flown in daily from the Sea of Japan, the Pacific Ocean, and local New England waters. Food was ok, not spectacular, good portioning, service was very good, ambiance was ok although a little too dark, prices were exceptional but for an average or slightly better than average meal.

Fantastic experience. It was my first time dining here and I was not disappointed! Server made excellent recommendations and everything was delicious. I’m looking forward to visiting again!

Excellent sushi and our server was terrific. Not an inexpensive meal by any means but you definitely get what you pay for in terms of the sushi.

My newest obsession. I had been once before but didn't get to try out a whole lot, but FINALLY got a chance to go with a big group and try out a lot of the menu items. We got the shishito peppers, the brussel sprouts, the wagyu dumplings, and the toro crispy rice, and the hamachi all of which were fantastic. I also ordered the sakana sanshu roll which was so simple but still fresh, spicy tuna roll with a twist. My favorite dish of all, though, was probably the salmon tartare. A lovely bowl of salmon with fix ins and seaweed chips. Also tried the cucumber gin cocktail (the Ginza) which was so incredibly refreshing with no real kick but still a good amount of gin. Our server was the sweetest! From making great recs (the sakana and the hamachi specifically), to chatting it up and bringing out a round of sake shots, we LOVED him! By far one of my favorite dining experiences!

Excellent place to get Sushi. Quiet , but warm, easy to have conversation. Attentive service. We liked the place and would recommend.

This place never misses. Always such a great vibe and the service is excellent. Food is as always very delicious. My family and I come here all the time and we come whenever we can. Will always come here when we want a sushi craving 💗
