Blue Ribbon Sushi is a vibrant Japanese restaurant and sushi bar located near Fenway Park in Kenmore Square, serving outstanding Japanese cuisine based in tradition and passion, including nigiri, sashimi, and chef-crafted maki rolls, all made with a selection of fresh fish flown in daily from the Sea of Japan, the Pacific Ocean, and local New England waters. The sushi bar selections are complimented by grilled mains including A5 Wagyu offerings. Our curated beverage list features a variety of sake selections, Japanese micro-brews, wines from California and Europe, premium Japanese whiskey and an assortment of imaginative house cocktails.

    Mediocre food. Or plain bad, in some cases. Tasted different sushi rolls. Some tasted like the ingredients were too old. Others as if they were meant to scare you. The music volume is probably studied to induce numbness, so one doesn’t realize how bad the food is. On top of it, absolutely, absurdly expensive. I’ll never set foot again.

    Exceptional sushi! Fantastic service, really tasty cocktails and gorgeous decor. The staff was super sweet and even gave the table a delicious dessert since we were celebrating my son’s graduation. Don’t sleep on the chicken wings!
