Sushi chef mediocre, quality of fish not as good as usual. Dropped a few notches fr Vegas and LA

Bad food, very expensive, little food’s portion
The food was terrible. The crispy rice roll tasted like it had avocado and tuna from a squeeze bottle. The cocktails were also disappointing. Overall do not recommend.

Very good sushi bar with wide array of other items as well. Super fresh fish and wide range of sake. It was super busy and you won’t get in without a reservation. Staff was very friendly, though very busy so there were some times we waited for things (a second beer). Sushi prices were pretty high, but that seems to be the standard right now ($10 for one small piece of sushi). Overall, I would definitely go back.
Great appetizers, especially the asparagus and mushroom one made the complementary offerings to sushi very interesting and delicious. The rolls were on point. Sushi was fresh and delicious.

I have been a VIP Private Concierge in Miami for several years and I very much enjoy the food from Blue Ribbon ~ however the sitting was not to my satisfaction. I requested a table outside, unfortunately I got a small square table for 3 big guys and myself by the kitchen and there were other larger tables available by curtains towards the pool. The hostess said there were no there tables outside when clearly there were 2 other tables that were open.
Chef Kazu is a good old friend and I was very happy to see him there. I would like to come back for dinner some other time. However I think it will be necessary for hostess training for prime attention to detail.
Service wasn’t as usual…
I was with my family, my order wasn’t complete.
My drink took very long.
My check someone else had to handle it.
It was disappointing.
I’ll stick to my weekdays…
My only complaint is that the restaurant should be cleaner.
They seem to be more interested turning over tables than providing a great customer experience. Variety of sushi is greater than most other sushi restaurants, but they didn’t do anything special with any of it.
Good food. Rice was only okay. Ambiance was awesome. Dies down as the night gets later but is good around 11.
really good appetizers, good gyozas, great sushi, great miso cod, waiter had no personality, was super slow moving, overall we would come back again because the food was so good

I have never written a review before, but I felt compelled after such a disappointing experience. We had been here for dinner about 3 years ago and had a wonderful meal. This time- the service was terrible. We had an early reservation at 5:30 to avoid the dinner rush, there was ere only 4 or 5 tables filled in the entire outdoor area. We placed our appetizer and drink order while we chose our main course. It was all downhill from there. The appetizers were very good- gyoza and rock shrimp tempura were standouts- but then parts of our entrees were brought out at random times. Nobody cleared our appetizer plates or asked if we wanted another drink (or took our empty glasses away). Then my husband and son’s main courses (sushi) arrived and half my meal, but my daughter’s enteee never arrived. My husband and son were done with their meal for 20 minutes or more before I could flag down any server to send our waiter over to tell him they had forgotten our meals. My daughter’s meal finally arrived an hour and 10 minutes after we arrived. The server was barely apologetic and given the price of our meal and the time we waited, it would have been nice if they had comped the missing entree (or offered dessert or something). Nothing. Our waiter seemed irritated that we were there at all, frankly. On the plus side- the hostess was lovely and friendly. All in all, a huge downslide, and very disappointing for a 400 dollar meal.
Over priced. Very average food. Felt sick after. NY and Vegas locations much better.
For our dinner reservation we were not seated at a dining table but at a low cabana coffee table. Some of our party was seated on stools. Not the experience we anticipated. Their accommodation was to bring the whole group back into the lobby to wait for an available dining table when they could have easily let us sit in the cabana coffee table area.
DONT BOTHER, FOOD BANG AVERAGE, AWFUL STAFF, EXTREMELY LOUD, MAKOTO, ZUMA MUCH BETTER, THIS WAS RUBBISH.

We have been to Blue Ribbon numerous times on our trips to Miami Every time the food is outstanding. Every item is unique and delicious. The service is attentive and the space is very pretty. Definitely always on our “must go to”list

We have been going to the NYC/Sullivan St restaurant for many years & love it. Stumbled on this hidden gem while on our annual Sobe hiatus. So glad we did.
Certainly not inexpensive but absolutely worth it! You do get what you pay for!
We ordered sushi, sashimi, waygu beef and fried chicken and all of it was excellent. We also got the grilled avacado and beef dumplings for appetizers and they were great too.
Very loud, very dark. Hostess was rude. Made reservations for 8:45 got there early and was not seated until 9:20. Food was mediocre at best. Fried rice had no flavor and was mushy. Sushi was okay, not good just okay. Would not recommend or ever go again.

Our third time here. Each time was very good. We sat outside on the porch which was great except fir screaming kids (happens when you eat early). Server Judy was very good. Sushi was excellent. Fried chicken was good but I remember liking it more last time.
It’s way too loud and the staff needs a major attitude adjustment ! Items on menu aren’t available and they aren’t helpful at all. Way overpriced for what it is.

It was ok. Considering the price range, “ok” is probably not a good rating. It being “Blue Ribbon sushi”—we were expecting the sushi to be amazing. It was just “ok”. Nothing to write home about. Everything was good but nothing spectacular. Ambience was nice & staff was good.
