Blue Ribbon Sushi & Steak combines traditional Japanese cuisine with a modern day steakhouse. Our menu is varied and extensive, and includes sushi and sashimi, as well as cooked entrees such as fish, lamb, steaks and chops. We feature Domestic and Japanese Wagyu. Blue Ribbon Sushi & Steak is located in midtown Manhattan, at the PENN 1 Building, across 33rd Street from Madison Square Garden and atop Penn Station. The restaurant is accessible from 33rd street, and from the newly renovated Penn Station and 34th Street via the lobby of PENN 1. We offer various seating areas - a sushi counter, a cocktail bar, the central dining room, and an outdoor patio (weather permitting).

    Absolutely fabulous meal! Delicate and exquisite flavors. We tried both the sushi and steak. The service was great and the restaurant very pretty.

    Terrible service but the food was good. Our waiter vanished and we went over 20 mins until someone realized he went a-wall and took over.

    Food was very good and the service was excellent. Server (Michele?) was knowledgeable about the menu and very pleasant. We weren’t rushed at all. Overall, a wonderful experience.

    The place was empty and they could have sat us a booth but didn’t….the sushi is ok to good…I’ve had better for less…The server was professional and attentive..My teenage kids loved the whole experience and the sushi as well….So I’m willing to say it’s all subjective…The restaurant is neat and Tidy and well designed. Won’t be returning for a very pricey “ok” experience….
