We had a very nice meal - very good waiters and great food
I had high hopes for this place based on its lauded (& ultimately undeserved) reputation & also, as I had yet to have had a bad experience in any restaurant in the Cosmo, I expected good things. Indeed, we explicitly stay at the Cosmo because of its enviable collection of high-quality eateries. Unfortunately, I can't consider Blue Ribbon to be among those other excellent Cosmo restaurants based purely on the substandard nature of the food on offer there. I ordered the bone marrow (which I'd heard great things about) but was disappointed to hear they'd sold out of (I was there at 6:30pm, so was surprised that they had none left), so I readily compromised with the waiter's suggestion of the foie mousse. The "mousse" was more like grainy mush with the consistency of soup which, when brought to my waiter's attention, he immediately appealed to the management & I was comped for its price. I have to say my waiter was most solicitous & did his best, but there's only so much that can be done with good service when the food is a let-down. I later suffered extreme stomach upset that night from this foie "mousse". My main dish, duck in an orange sauce, was cooked to specification but for the price of this dish, I was left wanting by a lack of accompanying sides (what I got was a miserly schmeer of cauliflower mash which was flavourless, along with a microscopic trickle of sauce & a couple very small slices of braised endive), none of which were seasoned or memorable enough for this dish to justify its price. Overall, I will not be going back to this restaurant & would not recommend it to anyone else.
Was expecting Japanese but was surprised by the American cuisine
Food, service and ambience were excellent. Relaxed but still very nice decor. Skate and branzino were great.

Okay I've been a New Yorker for 14 years and know quality restaurants. The welcome was perfect and the service overall was good however the food itself was well below its big brothers in NYC and sadly nothing was said by management when I mentioned their over cooked steak and to say I was amazed at the portion of the sides and blandness of the quality dear dear you'd expect one of the 6 yes 6 duty managers would react.
Lastly high point was a 50 year old DJ playing 80s music kinda softened the blow of a below average experience..
I'm not recommending this restaurant as its not worth a rating..
Waaay to high for ONE crab leg sitting in an over amount of ice in a bucket and cold butter....$70 for one unseasoned leg?? Never again, most over priced/ overrated item on the menu....item is a hustle

We went for the Fried Chicken and they did not disappoint! It was as tasty as it looked in the pictures.

Excellent Escargot, Raw Bar ant the steaks were perfectly done and melt in your mouth tender.
Superb fried chicken. Tables with drapes were very nice and private. Not a high end feeling space but nice.
The food was great and that is really why we all go to restaurants. The service and energy from the restaurant scene were just as good as the food.
Excellent service!!!! Great food and atmosphere. Will definitely be going again. Was there for my birthday. The staff was very welcoming and made my guests and I feel very comfortable.
First time back since the reopening. It was great - but I do miss the sushi.
This is a graet spot on The Strip in Vegas at the Cosmopolitan. The fried chicken dinner has a mildly spicey Cajun coating and it is cooked all the way through. Combined with mashed potatoes it is a super meal! Great bar in restaurant and easy to get a table. Highly recommend!
