We have been to Blue Ribbin twice while in Vegas with our toddler in tow. The food is amazing!!! We have had a great experience with our daughter even though it’s an upscale place. They go out of their way to accommodate her. The escargot is one of my favorite things, and the chicken is to die for. Skip the cheese plate- it was only so-so for the price.
Oh ya, and OYSTERS!! I’m an oyster lover and both the rW and baked oysters were so tasty.
One of the best meals I’ve ever had.
Good but had a very loud table beside us - should have asked to be moved. Food was good however, serving a $58 filet mignon on a cold plate is not good!!! At that price I expect my filet to be served in a hot plate
We were most surprised at our meal
Everything was delicious
Lobsters cooked to perfection
And oh that fried chicken
Would return for sure
Took a party of four there celebrating my wife's birthday. We had 4 types of oysters. Baked, fried and raw East & West coast. Just absolutely delicious. Then we had the cheese fondue and plenty of spectacular drinks from the bar. Staff ,& manager were great! We are locals, but plenty of tourist's from all walks of life enjoying themselves. We will definitely go back and try the fried chicken & bone marrow they are known for. The lobster & pidgeon also looked great. My mouth is watering just thinking about the menu.
Perfection!! From arriving and being greeted, having our first cocktail and been told the specials of the day. The restaurant staff extremely polite and friendly, the food and menu mouth watering with a combination of textures and tastes.
The restaurant it’s self fantastic theme and decor worth every $$$
The only one this I have to say which was a tiny tiny let down and I don’t know if this was a normal thing... but we had been served by around four different members of staff then during the main meal I would say around six members of staff each at different points came over and asked how our meal was. Don’t get me wrong it’s brilliant service but each time I had my mouth full and was trying rush to finish to say how lovely it was. Maybe in future just a smaller hand full of staff to ask us :-)
But other than that amazing meal thank you
Very patient, attentive, and educated staff.
Was a very worthwhile experience with an important client.
All was great
Awesome food and awesome service. Menu has your classic fare and a few surprisingly unique dishes. Waiter was very informed and described described certain dishes perfectly.
A very nice meal to end of holiday. Excellent service and good food. Slightly noisy but not distracting.
The fried oysters were magnificent. The baked oysters were delicious. The signature fried chicken, greens and mashed potatoes with gravy were excellent. Our server Joey was outstanding! Can’t wait to return and try some of the other menu items that look amazing. However, I’m sure we would definitely have the fried oysters again.
Jason our waiter was delightful, the ambience was comfortable. The food was good,
( Butttttt...............Southern Collard greens should be cooked to tenderness????????)
Service was very excellent.😋😋😋😋
Everything was excellent. My table is ready the staff was alert and hospitable. The food was outstanding. Everything was great. I absolutely loved it and I’m looking forward to going back.
Great service with a diverse menu. Enjoyed our experience.
Our evening at the Blue Ribbon, Las Vegas, was truly the highlight of our trip, as we celebrated my brother in law’s 60th birthday. Angelo is an amazing server... warm, funny, and very accommodating. Thank you Chachi for making our evening absolutely perfect.
It was my birthday and everyone was so nice and they sang happy birthday. The food was AMAZING!
A fun, great place for a date, special
Occasion or a friends’ get-together!!! We loved the fried oysters to start and their bone marrow (my hubbie’s favorite item and it was his bday) it was even better than the one in NYC and they have been famous for that for many years! Let’s not forget the wasabi fried chicken.. delish!!! Our server had a wonderful personality and it was very late in the night and he was still smiling and very attentive to us! We will definitely go back next time in Vegas! :))))
Best fried chicken w/ honey, collard greens & mashed potatoes w/ gravy I have ever tasted! I'll be back...soon!
Terrific service at Blue Ribbon. Our server was gracious and accommodating- and he anticipated our needs. My roast chicken was juicy and flavorful. The yellowtail sashimi appetizer was cold and fresh. Recommended!
Clam stew, especially the accompanying garlic bread, is great. Of course the fried chicken is their brand and a must!
We had a very nice meal - very good waiters and great food
One of the few NYC transplant restaurants in Las Vegas that captures the spirt of the NYC original...
We visited Las Vegas for a few days and decided to try this restaurant before going to a show. My husband had the fried chicken with greens and fries and really enjoyed it. His plate looked massive - I think they gave him half of a chicken. I had the salmon. It was perfectly cooked. I didn't care for the sauce on top but it was easy to push to the side. If I ever return to Las Vegas I would eat here again. Michael was our great server.
Nice but over priced, we did enjoy ourselves. Very pleasant wait staff.
We celebrated Valentine's here. Great service. We went early and it was quiet. The music was also exceptional. Do not miss this dining experience. We stay next door and appreciate Cosmopolitan's eateries.
I had high hopes for this place based on its lauded (& ultimately undeserved) reputation & also, as I had yet to have had a bad experience in any restaurant in the Cosmo, I expected good things. Indeed, we explicitly stay at the Cosmo because of its enviable collection of high-quality eateries. Unfortunately, I can't consider Blue Ribbon to be among those other excellent Cosmo restaurants based purely on the substandard nature of the food on offer there. I ordered the bone marrow (which I'd heard great things about) but was disappointed to hear they'd sold out of (I was there at 6:30pm, so was surprised that they had none left), so I readily compromised with the waiter's suggestion of the foie mousse. The "mousse" was more like grainy mush with the consistency of soup which, when brought to my waiter's attention, he immediately appealed to the management & I was comped for its price. I have to say my waiter was most solicitous & did his best, but there's only so much that can be done with good service when the food is a let-down. I later suffered extreme stomach upset that night from this foie "mousse". My main dish, duck in an orange sauce, was cooked to specification but for the price of this dish, I was left wanting by a lack of accompanying sides (what I got was a miserly schmeer of cauliflower mash which was flavourless, along with a microscopic trickle of sauce & a couple very small slices of braised endive), none of which were seasoned or memorable enough for this dish to justify its price. Overall, I will not be going back to this restaurant & would not recommend it to anyone else.
Was expecting Japanese but was surprised by the American cuisine
Food, service and ambience were excellent. Relaxed but still very nice decor. Skate and branzino were great.
Great server. Food was good.
Awesome, personal service! The fried chicken was spectacular!
Outstanding service and fantastic food. Such a great experience. I would recommend blue ribbon to anyone in or around vegas.
Okay I've been a New Yorker for 14 years and know quality restaurants. The welcome was perfect and the service overall was good however the food itself was well below its big brothers in NYC and sadly nothing was said by management when I mentioned their over cooked steak and to say I was amazed at the portion of the sides and blandness of the quality dear dear you'd expect one of the 6 yes 6 duty managers would react.
Lastly high point was a 50 year old DJ playing 80s music kinda softened the blow of a below average experience..
I'm not recommending this restaurant as its not worth a rating..
Waaay to high for ONE crab leg sitting in an over amount of ice in a bucket and cold butter....$70 for one unseasoned leg?? Never again, most over priced/ overrated item on the menu....item is a hustle
Food & Service was wonderful
Evan, the Manager, is Excellent . He has clearly provided great leadership to his staff! He keeps the restaurant running efficiently and ensures high standards on the food & customer service
We went for the Fried Chicken and they did not disappoint! It was as tasty as it looked in the pictures.
Food and service were both outstanding! We would recommend it to friends and will definitely dine there again!
Excellent Escargot, Raw Bar ant the steaks were perfectly done and melt in your mouth tender.
Superb fried chicken. Tables with drapes were very nice and private. Not a high end feeling space but nice.
The food was great and that is really why we all go to restaurants. The service and energy from the restaurant scene were just as good as the food.
