About Blue Ribbon Las Vegas
November 2017 marks the 25th anniversary of the original Blue Ribbon, well known as the late night restaurant "where chefs go to eat." In June 2017, just in advance of that anniversary, the Bromberg Brothers have opened Blue Ribbon Las Vegas at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. The new restaurant is built on the vision that originated 25 years ago in one small restaurant space in New York City's SoHo, which grew into a beloved NYC institution. Now, at The Cosmopolitan, Blue Ribbon will build on that original vision, drawing inspiration from the bustling energy of the Las Vegas Strip. Blue Ribbon Las Vegas will be part saloon, part oyster bar, part American eatery, and part international culinary tour.

Blue Ribbon Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
A nice, modern, "Cosmopolitan" restaurant, comfortable and roomy. The menu was quite large and extensive in their offerings, ranging from a variety or appetizers, to seafood, meats, fowl, and even specialty items. I've been in restaurants with similarly large menus and most were hit and miss when they tried to do too much. At the BR, the food quality was very good, and consistent through all the items that we ordered. Since we had a group of six friends, we made this our BIG night out in Vegas, deciding to order appetizers and main dished "family" style so that we could share in the different tastes. For our experience we ordered west coast oysters, chicken wings, pate foie gras, beef marrow, a chilled whole lobster, bone in rib steak, paella basquez, a couple of sides that came with the mains, and to top it off - Russian caviar. Somehow we never made it to the desert... Needless to say the bill was a little pricy because of what we ordered, but when it averaged down between six people it was worth it and we all share in a wonderful meal. Since the dinner kept our group out of the casino action for nearly four hours, the night probably turned out cheaper than if we had gone out for a burger, then lost a several hundred bucks each. And we got a great dinner for our money's worth. Service, in a nut shell, was outstanding ! The Blue Ribbon is on the calendar for our group's next visit to LV.
It was a return visit to celebrate a birthday for a relative. We had a wonderful meal.....especially the fried Chicken. The waiter was very attentive to our questions and needs. The manager, Chiachi, who we had met on our first visit. Welcomed us like old friends. She spent time talking to all of us. She also made sure that the birthday was celebrated with a delicious dessert that was enough for the 4 of us. We will definitely return to the Blue Ribbon next time we are in Vegas.
It is always scary eating at a restaurant and I Las Vegas strip hotel because quite often the food is very expensive and not very good. However blue ribbon is an exception. It’s basically good comfort food, very well prepared, and reasonably priced. Some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had made with Challah bread crumbs. My wife had the steamed lobster which for a Las Vegas strip hotel was moderately priced and very good. The fried ousters were outstanding as an appetizer
Sat at the bar, the service was great! Shea, (sorry if names not right - big guy, great beard, very witty). Started with a "GGG" cocktail BTW I could have had 2 if the night hadn't started so early! Ordered wings and ribs to start, "mini hibachi" is cute idea but both were O.K not great. Entrees were the "Bar Burger" add cheese, mushrooms and bacon and the "Sweet and Spicy Catfish", burger wasn't memorable, (ordered med rare received med well). The catfish was outstanding, best part of entire meal. Closed with bread pudding and topped with a shot of Bailey's - again was good but not great.
Would return for the bartender alone but throw the Catfish in and it's a done deal!
We found this restaurant by chance and went to celebrate my son’s twenty-first birthday. I was a little nervous because I wanted to make sure he had a good time. I was overwhelmingly delighted. The service was great. Adam (our waiter) was personable, gave great suggestions, and great service. The food was great as were the drinks. Don’t know if I’ll ever get my wife back to Vegas (she’s not a fan), but if I do, I know where we’re going for a date!
Blue Ribbon was a pleasant surprise. We were going to see Bob Dylan so we wanted to eat somewhere close to the show. We chose Blue Ribbon because it had an interesting menu and had times available before the show. Our waiter, Julian, was wonderful. He was engaging and spent time with us on the menu and making us feel welcomed. I had the lobster, which was sweet and delicious. My friend had the paella - which was as good as any I have had in Spain. I will definitely have paella the next time I eat at Blue Ribbon. We finished the meal w/ their chocolate chip bread pudding! YES!!! Delicious.
Such a great place that offers late night quality dining. The ambiance is good, contemporary lay out. If your looking for flare the Cosmopolitan seafood dish is for you (and several others). Our server Megan suggested the Paella Basquez and she was right. Amazing flavors tons of seafood, sausage and chicken over saffron rice. My wfes salmon was cooked perfectly again great flavors. I'm sort of a bread pudding snob. Some places just ruin it. Not here, wow the chocolate chip bread pudding was pure decadence. Highly recommend Blue Ribbon.
It was the last day of a birthday weekend celebration. The food was amazing from beginning to end. The service was exceptional. I had the fried oysters and sweet& spicy catfish and both were cooked to perfection. My friend had the wings and it came with a hibachi. I would highly recommend.
To be fair, the service was OUTSTANDING.... no complaints there. The noise level of the restaurant was head pounding. We both love music, in fact had been at a concert the night before. The music made the drinks rattle. Food was ok, nothing to brag about. It was "good gourmet burger anywhere" kind of thing..... Wouldn't return.
