Food was fantastic. Got the fresh summer rolls, yummy crab rangoon and shared the yellow curry with chicken. Generous cocktails. Staff was super friendly and everyone very welcoming. Outdoor dining was great. Had some confusion with bill which was handled professionally. Olivia is super!!!!

Food good - Michael our server was good. Table was very poor. Individual at the front was very rude and seated us first at a table directly looking into the kitchen. We asked to move as this was unacceptable and we specifically asked not to be placed near the kitchen in our reservation. Was very very rude and said "all the other tables have reservations, and you didn't want your assigned seats." We said that we had a reservation too and that we could see 6 other tables for 4 that were open. Individual rudely snapped, "you had assigned seats, but you didn't want them, so give me a second (raising his voice loudly) and we'll see if we can accommodate you. You had assigned seats." Then he turned to his manager and whispered to her how rude we were and that he was not going to deal with us, so she could. She promptly tried to sit us again next to the main waiter station. If it had not been pouring rain, we would have left. Very unpleasant and in stark contrast to alternatives in Riverside area. Ruined otherwise good food and good service.

It was a great evening from beginning to end. We started with pork spring rolls - delicious! For entrees, my dining companion had drunken noodles with chicken, and I had the pad thai special ($11 on Tuesday nights!!). Both dishes were delicious, with yummy leftovers for lunch. For dessert, we had the Thai do-nuts, which came with a condensed milk dipping sauce. The perfect ending to our meal!

Been here multiple time. Food never fail us. Drinks can be a little pricey but we often go during happy hour. Our favorite dish is the Thai fried rice but with glass noodles, protein is mixed seafood no squid, and add mushrooms. THE BEST!

The curry’s are amazing. Good service and I love the attention to detail in the ff&E throughout the restaurant. They did a Great job converting the building to a restaurant.

We always love the food at Blue Orchid, but service was below acceptable. After being seated for 20 mins we had to get hostess to get us a server. Whom also recognized it had been a while that wed been seated with no help. The restaurant wasn’t full, and plenty of table still open. So it didn’t seem fitting to be that behind. Appetizer came out within acceptable time, then it was another 45 mins for food. I appreciate the food being fresh and hot, but the lack of service seemed to be what hindered everything. The plates needed to be sent back as they were dirty (twice and had legit food on them). Disappointing as we brought friends there and it was their first time. Would love to go back with higher level of confidence the service is going to be better.

Had a reservation for 6, no server came over until we asked if we had one 40 minutes later. Payed on their kiosk thing and was told we didn’t pay when the money was taken out of my account.

Your server took care of you and your guest with drinks and appetizers, then as per restaurant etiquette, waited for the rest of your party to arrive. So I believe your 40 minute wait for service was not exactly as you describe. We tried to contact you directly several times with no response. Overall good experience and food was good and service was very good and they have good atmosphere with great Thailand art. However the overall lighting is way too harsh and needs to be toned down. The owners should consider dimmer switches for all the spot lights and dim them and allow the art and the hanging lamps to really shine. Put candles even electric on each table and let the atmosphere and setting really feel a bit more romantic and engaging. Will definitely return but hope they will dim the lighting a bit too harsh for dinner eating.
