We had the pear and apple salad and fried green tomatoes to start...for our main course we shared the special which was a 2lb Berkshire pork chop with a whole grain mustard sauce, roasted veggies and mashed potatoes. We managed to save room for dessert....the key lime meringue pie...each dish had the right balance of flavors and sauces...everything was cooked and prepared to perfection and our waiter was great!! We have eaten at a lot of restaurants in Rehoboth and have loved many but this was the best meal by far :)

We went for brunch one of my favorite things to do. We started off with the home made donuts and they brought back so many memories since my mother use to make them for me. We enjoyed the fried green tomatoes, oyster soup and the eggs Benedict. All of which were good from the first bite to the last bite. It is always such a pleasure to go to the Blue Moon since they make the dining experience outstanding. We don't believe that there is anything that they could improve on. We also had Jackie has our server and she made the experience even more fun. She knows what you want and when you want it even before you need to ask. Thanks again Blue Moon for another wonderful dining experience. If you are visiting or live here and have not tried the Blue Moon you are missing the best that Rehoboth has to offer. Thanks again for another wonderful dining experience Blue Moon.

We went to the Blue Moon to celebrate a birthday and it was a great celebration. We started off with the beet salad and then enjoyed the duck and the lobster. Everything was totally outstanding from the first bite to the very last. We always enjoy going to the Blue Moon since we know that the food will be totally outstanding and they never disappoint us. Thanks again Blue Moon for another wonderful evening. Our server was Jackie and like the Blue Moon she is totally outstanding. She know what you want or need even before she asks you. Thanks Jackie for another wonderful evening.

Three of us decided to have dinner at the Blue Moon following their drive from Florida. Yes evening in Florida they were excited about dining at the Blue Moon. Two of us had the rock fish which was so good that it was disappointing when we finished and the third at the chicken pot pie which was also very delicious. We started with fried green tomatoes, butternut squash soup and the apple pear salad. Blue Moon is our favorite place in Rehoboth Beach and we don't think any places compare with it. If you are visiting or live here and have not tried the Blue Moon you are missing the best restaurant on the Eastern Shore. Thanks again Blue Moon for another great evening.

We were so looking forward to this night out. We were seated in the stage portion of the restaurant instead of the actual dining room. This made for a noisy and uninviting ambiance (think of 20 or so tables in a firehall). Unfortunately, the hot appetizer was served at room temperature (the serving dish was hotter than the food), my Husband's lobster tail was very small for the price and my side was again served at room temperature...

Very Disappointing--Our waiter, Sutton, was business-like/never smiled and was not friendly at all! The complimentary stuffed date and the oyster appetizers and the warm pecan pie for dessert were outstanding; however, entrees were pricey ($30+) and nothing special. In fact, the customer at the table next to us sent his duck entree back because it was tough! Based on previous reviews, we were expecting a spectacular dinner--what we got was pricey and just okay!

This was thanksgiving dinner, so the experience was different from our previous ones, when I would give it 4 stars. It was crowded, and as usual, we could not get a table in the main dinning room which has a much nicer atmosphere than the spill over section, furnished with tiny tables and chairs. I don't know who you have to be to be seated in the main dining room. There was no particular thanksgiving menu other than a turkey osso buco. The duck was the main problem this time, since it was too tough to be edible and was exchanged for something safe; no consolation prize, however. The foi gras and the rockfish, on the other hand, were great. Service was mediocre to indifferent.
We usually like the food at this restaurant, but I think for thanksgiving we might try a different place. Having said all of the above, they were open, and it is hard to find a restaurant in that area that is open for thanksgiving.

Whenever we go to the beach, Blue Moon is our "must go". The food is excellent. The service is wonderful. We have had the same server the last few times we went there. She has been wonderful, friendly, attentive and engaging. The chef sends out a little taste of food before the meal. Wonderful touch and very tasty. We find the best place to sit is on the porch, but also great to sit by the fire in the main dining room. Blue Moon is by far not the cheapest restaurant, but we come back for the excellent food and excellent service.

We've eaten many times at Blue Moon over the years. I realize it's Thanksgiving, but the set up in the bar area was less than acceptable. The tables for 2-4 people were 36" square if that. There was no place to hang coats so they were left to puddle on the floor. Food was good, but the atmosphere for the evening was so poor, that honestly that's what I remember. It'll be a while before I venture into the Blue Moon again. There are other excellent restaurants in RBDE, Eden, G for instance to choose from.

We've dined at Blue Moon many, many times. While the service was really wonderful and the appetizers were divine (grilled octopus for one; oysters for the other), the entree missed the mark by a mile. At these prices, shame on you. For the record, we both ordered the butter poached lobster over risotto. The lobster was fine (at $38 or $39, I would hope it would be fine).. it was a lobster tail (our served said 8 ounces, we thought it was closer to 5). The risotto was the problem.... runny rice with undercooked carrots and leeks. No expected risotto creaminess whatsoever. Hours later we still tasted undercooked leeks. We walked out of there having spent over $200 for Thanksgiving lunch for two, with a fine bottle of wine ($55)...asking ourselves, "will we return?" We had already made reservations for New Year's Eve and have cancelled since dining there on Thanksgiving, choosing to go to Le Fable instead. By the way, we felt this way one other time: on New Year's Day 2017, when, like Thanksgiving Day, the bar/dance floor was turned into a dining area (that felt frankly like a church basement.... aargh.) We both wondered whether the kitchen simply isn't up to managing both the main, elegant dinning room, AND the nearly double dining space created by making the bar into a dining area. Again, at these prices (definitely the most expensive restaurant in Rehoboth Beach), we expect and SHOULD get "sublime" every time.

We had a lovely Thanksgiving dinner here for seven. It's the best place at the shore we've tried for Thanksgiving. No turkey, but plenty of similar gourmet options. Would do it again, although it was not inexpensive. A classic Rehoboth restaurant.

Thanksgiving dinner. Martinis, Chorizo and Crispy Octopus, Butternut Squash Soup, Butter Poached Lobster with Risotto, Brisket Stroganoff, Blue Moon Bombe [think baked alaska]. Excellent in every respect. We thought the soup was not quite as good as we make, but it was superb none the less.

This was our family's first time eating out on a holiday. I really wanted to like it but ended up disappointed. The website had a special Thanksgiving menu that ended up not being available at the restaurant. Our waiter was pleasant but not engaging...5 of us were served and the 6th waited 4 full minutes for her meal with no explanation. He later also missed a coffee order. The food was okay, but the filet overdone, which ruined it. The dessert, though, was delicious.

Fine food, as always. Waiter was presented well, but was humorless. And he cleared the courses before everyone was finished, which rushes the persons not finished and is not a sign of class dining.

Absolutely loved this restaurant. From the moment we walked in everyone on the staff was warm and friendly. We were seated in the porch area and the ambience was relaxing from a nicely lit room to the seating arrangement. While it was tight quarters in the seating, my husband and I could engage in a conversation without disturbing others and we were not disturbed by the other guest conversations. The food was excellent. I had the filet mignon which was cooked exactly to my request; my husband had a delicious, tender pork chop that he described as the most tender he has ever had. We are looking forward to going back and trying other dishes. I highly recommend Blue Moon.

We regularly dine at the Blue Moon. This is our favorite restaurant in Rehoboth. Everything about this place is top notch so it’s hard to isolate one aspect of the dining experience. We really enjoy the Sunday Brunch entertainment. We have have enjoyed many dinner and brunch occasions at Blue Moon and have never been disappointed.

We had another great meal at Blue Moon. We started with the fried green tomato which is large enough for 2 people to split. It was one of the best I've had. I had the scallops for my entrée and they were excellent. My husband enjoyed his entrée as well. Blue Moon is cozy and romantic. Tables are close together but the restaurant is still quiet enough to have a nice conversation, even on a busy Friday night.

The food was good but the tables are very close together. As often happens the hostess (chewing gum) took us to a table right next to and looking directly at another couple when there was other free tables. Having been seated we asked to be moved and were actually thanked by the other couple. It is getting to be off season but go when this restaurant is quite and not full

We went to celebrate our anniversary and every was totally wonderful. We started off with the beet salad and the butternut squash soup and then we both enjoyed the pork chop. We topped with the meal with the key lime dessert. From the first bite to the very last bit everything was delicious and we were sad that the meal was over. We enjoyed it so much that we have already made reservations for a birthday celebration in December. If you are visiting or live in the area and not have tried the Blue Moon you are missing the best that Rehoboth Beach has to offer. Thanks Blue Moon for another wonderful evening.

Fabulous!! This was the second time in a week that my husband and I had reservations at Blue Moon. Our only regret was that they were out of the tuna carpaccio (we shared that starter last time and we’re so looking forward to each of us having our own this time). We quickly got over it, though, with my fois gras and my husband’s beet salad starters. Our entrees (beef stroganoff and a pork chop) were delicious. Desserts were awesome too! This place is a ‘must do’ for visitors to the Rehoboth Beach area and locals alike!!

Blue Moon is probably me and my husband’s favorite restaurant in Rehoboth Beach as evidenced by the multiple reservations during our stay. We go back this evening! During our first visit, we shared the tuna carpaccio (which won’t happen again because I am demanding my own!). It was fabulous!! For entrees, I had the chicken pot pie...I will never eat Swanson’s again after tasting what a real pot pie should taste like. My husband had a lobster tail served over some lusciousness. The restaurant is consistently great, not just good. Can’t wait for this evening’s visit!
