We had an excellent server. Some of the food was great but sone of it was not. I enjoyed my entree but 2 people at our table remarked that they did not enjoy theirs would never order theirs again

They were having a bad night...a real bad night. We were seated at 7PM, and after 20 minutes we decided we better flag somebody down to take our order. She didn't tell us the specials (we overheard them later,) and then we waited. Numerous staff members (busboy, other waiters, the maitre d', etc.) came by to tell us our food would be out "real soon." They were lying. We overheard other tables that were being seated that the "kitchen was running a little slow tonight." Our food (table of 3) arrived (one plate at a time) an hour and 20 minutes after ordering. Something was clearly up in the kitchen (short staffed?) but they should not have been seating people if they could not produce food in a timely manner.

Took my husband on a date and had reservations with some special requests but requests weren’t fulfilled. Also I order the lamb chop and was definitely not what I expected. It was very undercooked and I wasn’t asked how I wanted it cooked. I wouldn’t go back especially for what I paid I expected at least a little more.

We've been coming to this restaurant since it opened 4 years ago, and have never had a bad experience. We go every year to celebrate our anniversary. However, we had an unpleasant incident this past weekend. We stopped by the restaurant around 4:30 to see if we could make a reservation for that evening. The host could not have been more rude in telling that there was basically no chance of us getting a table there that night. He was totally condescending and showed zero interest in helping to try to squeeze us in at some point that evening. We were totally flexible too. It's not like we were adamant about wanting to get in at a specific time. My wife even said, "how about if we came in on the earlier side?" And he responded by saying, "no, we are fully booked starting in 4 minutes!" The guy had a HORRIBLE attitude and should definitely not be working face to face with customers. Fortunately we went back to our hotel and checked Open Table, and there were plenty of tables available. Once we got past Mr. Grumpy (the host), everything fell into place. Our waitress was amazing. Super friendly, and great energy. And the food was excellent as always. Grateful for Open Table! But hopefully management can do something about host. Someone as unpleasant as him should not be the first impression one gets at this lovely restaurant.

That evening they happened to be the only eatery open due to power outage. Considering these circumstances the service was superb, ambience lovely but the food was only medium. Appetizers were great! I had to ask for a steak knife to cut my filet mignon and one of my dinner companions duck was somewhat flavorless. However the Chilean Sea Bass was outstanding and definitely the winner. Location was perfect as always. I will return as I believe they deserve a second chance.

We were there a full 15 minutes before the table next to us; We had not gotten to place our order before ;they got their drinks, then appetizers. We placed orders for entrees only. A full 45 minutes before they came. Table next to us ( different server) were done with their entrees before we even got ours. When it came, it was excellent, except it was not hot. Almost lukewarm, so we know it sat for awhile. Our opinion: they need help with coordinating their servers....they have tables outside, inside front, and the back room It is too hard for them to keep their tables straight.

We went for dinner and then lunch two days later.
The French onion soup is incredible! Caesar salad was awful. It had no flavor at all. The mushroom ravioli was just OK. Service was great.
Lunch was completely different. Excellent service.
The two sandwiches we had were really delicious. We had the roast beef deep and their house specialty which is called croque Monseur. It was amazing.

We decided to go back to Blue moon again. This time we didn’t order any beef since the day before we were very dissatisfied with our (filet). The chicken is good as well as the salmon. Since I was so gun shy I didn’t order meat at all.

We ordered their premiere filet. It was tough and did not seem like a filet. We were not pleased. When we told the server she was surprised and told someone in the kitchen. I guess since it was mostly eaten the restaurant didn’t do anything for us. It just ruined the evening

Risotto was delicious. Steak was ok. Caesar salad needed more dressing, but flavor was good. Server and bus help were friendly, but service was slow. Probably due to understaffing bc of Covid, so not surprising.
I'd return for the setting and wine and appetizers, but I found the prices too high for the entrees for the value.

Food and server were both excellent. I would have given a higher overall rating, but kitchen was so understaffed that we waited an hour for our entree. Not the server’s fault.

Food is always wonderful - they were a bit backed up and dinner took longer than usual which would normally be fine since we had a great view and it was beautiful outside. However, we had reservations at Sycamore and so we had to rush eat and no dessert. We started at 5 and got out at about 6:25 with 6:30 res at Sycamore. Kind of a bummer it cut into our tub time.

Have visited several times in the past, but this trip was very disappointing. The service was good but the onion soup was cold, which we sent back and after about 15 minutes it came back lukewarm. Had a steak dip sandwich which came out with the meat the temperature of coming straight from the refrigerator. Sent it back and after another 10 minutes it came back with a cold center. Talk with the manager and he comped the meal, which we did not eat and had us pay for our wine. Very disappointing with the food and that they felt they were being very kind to comp a meal that we didn't eat. Great location and the service was good, just very poor food quality. Will we go back? Not sure as food quality is important in a restaurant visit.

The food was excellent but the service was just ok. We had told the waitress that we had some timing restraints and that we wanted to order desert because it was my husband's birthday. Our dinner was served very late because they gave our dinner to someone else, then when it did come it was cold, and then we never saw our waitress again until it was time to leave. We never got desert.
