The place was packed! Our server had a huge party but never showed stress and gave us five star service. His name is Tony. Food was perfect.
Don’t miss going here!
Love Blue Moon! Great food and great service! Lovely intercoastal canal view if you want.
food and service was excellent. Watching the boats go by was also interesting
Although the food was good, our service was not! They were very busy. We waited for our table for almost an hour (even though we had reservations).... our waiter barely stopped at our table and we waited a long time for our food! Atmosphere and food were good but very disappointed in the service this time....
The food is outstanding. The noise level was more than I imagined for an upscale restaurant of this sort.
Finally! A fish restaurant where the fish is done right. This an amazing service!
Great food and great atmosphere! The food was fabulous and the dessert delish! We had the best time!
Our server Travis was terrific my fish was delicious but the potatoes were hard. My husband enjoyed his meal very much. It’s pricey and extremely dark it would have been nice to see what we were eating. Overall good
Ceviche and tuna poke were out of this world good! The diver scallop appetizer was again delicious... that was the best part of the meal .... I got the swordfish which was cooked perfectly however my scallop dish was the star of the night ! My husband ordered the filet and king crab .... he realized quickly he should not of ordered the steak at a seafood restaurant (I don’t know why he always does that) he said his filet was just a little dry
Other than that I would go back for the appetizers and the raw bar again and again
The brunch buffet food was excellent! We didn't know the mini plates were a part of the brunch until we were too full to order. :-(
Had a wonderful time and will be back to experience everything.
The best brunch place! Excellent food, service, great location! Love it!
We LOVE Blue Moon Fish Company!!!! It is a favorite of ours. Not only is the view fantastic, the staff is very attentive and go out of their way to explain the items on the menu. We have had many different appetizers, entrees and deserts and have always remarked at how well seasoned each entree is, the flavors just burst into your mouth. The fish is ALWAYS so fresh.
We drive down from West Palm Beach almost every Saturday to enjoy our dinner sitting outside watching the boats go by...we look forward to it all week!!!
Thank you to all the staff!!!
We had the Sea Bass which everyone recommends and it was good. We had the Tuna with the curry spices and it was very average.
Food was excellent and we loved our server, Mike!!!
High energy, great food, watch the boats go by. Good wine list. Fair prices.
Romantic waterside dining with excellent food and service. One of my favorite special occasion spots.
Overall great place. Food is excellent.
The place is very pretty, food was delish, beautiful water view, great service. Our table was right by the edge of the water, very romantic. 😉❤
Food is exceptional and service excellent. A cut above the competition. But I urge the restaurant to improve the outdoor dining area. The lighting in particular is inadequate. I noticed many patrons using cell phone lights to not only read the menu, but to actually eat the delicious food.
I made a reservation for my 5th anniversary and it was amazing. We got to sit outside on the boardwalk and watch a beautiful sunset. The food was fresh and made to perfection, the noise level allowed us to speak in our normal conversation level which was great! Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and even offered suggestions for us.
One of my favorite sea food restaurants in Fort Lauderdale. It's always one of my top choices for special occasions or when friends visit from out of town. I've dined at Blue Moon many, many times and each time the sea food is superb and the service is excellent. I highly recommend Blue Moon for a great meal, uncompromising service and a magical ambiance.
Absolutely not worth the price. The food was mediocre at best. I don't normally leave reviews considering I used to work in the service industry but I was very disappointed with the overall experience at this restaurant. First the service was dismal. We arrived at the bar for dinner and ordered a drink. The bar was not full. Bartender came back with I'm sorry we ran out of the specific liquor for that drink. No suggestions no nothing, just a very stoic would you want something else. Next we got seated (great table I'll give them that) waiter took forever to greet us that the server had to start with us. The bread never showed after he said he would bring it out. We had to ask for it. The ordering felt rushed like if the waiter was trying to get us out of there. However, he wasn't too rushed when we were done eating. It actually got so bad that I decided to start a timer. It took the waiter 30 minutes (it was more I just decided to start it after the long wait) to acknowledge the fact our plates were empty. He was nowhere to be found. If this was an Olive Garden I wouldn't have cared, but when plates on average are 45 dollars I expect excellent service especially when the dishes are very uninspiring and are just a slab of fish with a poorly paired side dish. Food was not bad. The Fish was very fresh but again not what I would expect for 45 dollars. At the end of the day it was not the food that prompted this review but the abysmal service received at this restaurant. Oh and they started preparing for closing with a restaurant still packed with people forgot that (probably explains where the waiter was.) Not even at a Chili's or Flannigans had I experienced that. Our reservation was for 8:30 not late at all. There are much better fine dining options in the area like Cafe Seville or even a chain like capital grill would have been better than this.
Even with a reservation, wait was an additional 30 minutes.
Made reservations. Called ahead to ensure time was still good. Confirmed it was. Upon arrival, was told it would be 30/45 minute wait. Really was over an hour.
I went with my husband on Valentine's Day, it was great, the atmosphere, the view, the food, the service, we hope to return soon
If you are going to hold me accountable for $50/person charge. You should be able to uphold the reservation and not overbook the restaurant. I waited 40 minutes. Not acceptable.
I made a reservation two days in advance for valentines. They requested a deposit in my credit card to guarantee the reservation. When I arrived with my boyfriend 15 minutes before reservation , they said we needed to wait one hour and a half for the table.
So why they requested the deposit if they don’t respect the reservation and people’s time?
Of course we left.
Worst experience ever.Had to wait over an hour for my table even though we made the reservation two weeks in advance. The restaurant was overbooked and very crowded, people standing all around tables where people trying to have a nice dinner. I’m not going recommend this place to anyone I know.
Had a reservation for 7:30 and didn’t get seated till 8:30 which really sucks. They need to not overlook reservations. Food was great and so was the service
