The best Sunday Brunch in South Florida!!! Not only was the view spectacular but the buffet and small plate orders were off the chart!
Family event. Great setting. Delicious food very fresh seafood! Service great with nice view of intracoastal waterway
High school girlfriends getaway
We love this place. Little expensive but never disappoints
Very grateful to our out of town guest Howard who wanted to take us out to dinner to thank us for our hospitality.
All three of us were delighted by every dish and beverage that arrived at our table.
The waiter was also knowledgeable and pleasant.
One of the best meals we've had here in Fort Lauderdale.
Went for my husband anniversary and it was amazing.
Jimmy made our evening.
Fabulous dinner, beautiful setting.
The service, atmosphere, and food/drink quality at Blue Moon Fish Co is always impeccable. One of my favorite restaurants to take out of town guests to when they are visiting the area.
Celebrated Wife's Birthday during Sunday Brunch after Church. Great Service, waitstaff was especially attentive to our party of seven. He even brought specialties from the Buffett to our table.
The food was excellent! Would highly recommend.
Sunday Brunch is fantastic! Such a great selection of foods to choose from...over and over. The waitstaff ROCKS!!! We will definitely return...soon!!
The food is always good but not spectacular. I see little difference between Blue Moon food and other restaurants charging 2/3rd the price for essentially the same thing. Inside seating means you can't converse with those at your table. The noise level is exceptionally loud. When making a reservation there is an option to chose outside seating, which I requested. When we arrived it wasn't available.
The outdoor seating for two is on the waters edge, literally. You sit on the lower level dock area providing a great view of the boats which pass by.
Every food item was exceptional and portion sizes were perfect for 2 adults to split a starter, salad and desert soufflé while ordering their own entrees. This ensured we did not to feel like we over indulged afterward. One note: it would be nice to provide butter instead of the garlic olive oil with the bread basket as the garlic scent on our breath was overpowering.
The one thing which stood out to us came at the end of the experience. The patron has to pay for valet. Based on our experiences, both here and in other cities, this quality of restaurant does not charge. After spending in excess of $200 for dinner, the charge was an insult and I was half tempted not tip the valet. However, the decision to charge is not theirs; but instead, the restaurant management group. Come on guys, no one charges for valet anymore. It is the price of admission in this business.
The only criticism that I have is about the noise from the bridge. However, we were outside. Inside, it was probably more quiet! Overall, it was a very nice dining experience. It is a lovely decorated restaurant!
Always my absolute favorite restaurant !! The grouper is the best !! Service is laways amazing and Hailey at the bar is always great !!
It’s a staple for us, year after year when we visit FLL. Love, love, love this place.
In a word, SUPERB !
Even though our party arrived 25 minutes late, Caitlin at the front desk was welcoming and gracious. She led us to our table, dockside and introduced us to our server(one of many catering to our needs). Cocktails and wine flowed during our perusal of the mostly seafood menu which included exotic species prepared with unique styles and ingredients. Must haves : black linguine with a melody of seafood varieties(al dente), grouper especially prepared for the evening, pan seared red snapper with the slightest hint of heat(NOLA style, but better), stone crab claws which were perfectly cooked and cracked for easy dismantling at table, fire cracker oysters were sweet and delicate with a back end of heat and last but not least, 1 raspberry soufflé/1 grand marinier soufflé.
Just a magical evening by a restaurant and staff that just was firing on all cylinders!!! A must for any foodie and those of us in the industry.
Grazie Mille !
Excellent eating experience.. from walking in the door and being greeted by employee, seated and server which was attentive and helpful. Variety of food which was exquisite. The atmosphere is wonderful.
Had my 2nd Thanksgiving there this year, and if I'm alive I'll be there next year. And if I can afford it 'll be there a few times in between. Blue Moon is really quite wonderful in every respect.
This was our 4th year of spending Thanksgiving at Blue Moon Fish Co. We noticed it had gone downhill last year and had decided not to return. However, we did -- and we were disappointed again. While the reason for our return on the 2nd year was that their turkey and trimmings was excellent, I can no longer say the same. Other items were not that great either. To top it off, they now tell you that you can only dine for 2 hours, and they add 20% tip to your bill. For sure, Blue Moon will not see us back for the 5th year.
Would like to have choice of menu order as opposed to only buffet. Far too much to eat.
Very nice welcome
And staff, great menu and ambiance
Excellent Sunday brunch. Great oysters with sushi. Carving station with several choices. What makes unique are the unlimited included off the brunch menu choices, small tasting plates best were brisket slider, scallop.
Great, fresh food, attentive staff who are knowledgeable and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. One of our friends has allergies to gluten and dairy, and our server made suggestions as well as went back to consult with the chef about good choices for her. Fabulous food, beautifully presented, well worth the price.
Great special of lamb shank osso bucco. wait staff and kithcen was courteous and change the side dishes to something I liked. My wife and the scallops and they were very good, as was the salmon had by friends. We ate outside, at night, and had a wonderful view of the intercostal
Just simply the best restaurant in the Ft. Lauderdale area.
One of the best places to eat in Fort Lauderdale! Excellent food, drinks, and service. Also, one of the best brunches in the city. It's amazing. I highly recommend Blue Moon Fish Co.
Great meal with outstanding service a must visit when in Pompano
The service was great they have amazing staff I went with my friend it was my bday it’s everything I thought it would be and then some . The crab cakes was amazing wow and bottomless mimosa were so good . What an amazing experience I heard so many good things about this place I’m glad I came the view was so beautiful I can’t wait to come back .
My wife has a very specific food allergy. Went to brunch expecting she just have an omelette. Staff became aware of her allergy and next thing we know the chef is at our table. Went in and prepared a bunch of beautiful dishes for her. Went above and beyond for us. The whole staff came and checked and made sure she had enough to eat (it was so much food, huge portions).
The staff really went out of their way for us. Havent seen service like this anywhere
Always a great experience. I often have the sword fish and my wife experiments with different fish. Service is usually great, but can slow down if a couple of 12 person groups arrives by boat, which is what happened to us on this last visit. In any case they are still on my top 5 list of Fort Lauderdale restaurants.
We debated between 2 restaurants for a romantic night out & opted for this one to sit on the canal. Not only was the view lovely & quiet but the food was outstanding. Our server, Jonathon, couldn't be more efficient, helpful with order advice for my peculiar wants, yet so unobtrusive. My husband & I both agreed the meal was amongst our favorites that we've shared and, yes, it was pricey, but worth it.
Everything was fantastic!! Our server Phil was awesome
Had a group of 14. The staff was attentive and engaging. The food was excellent, especially for seafood fans. Highly recommend the seafood tower appetizer. Waterfront setting is great.
3 year wedding anniversary and couldn’t have picked a better place. Food& service was outstanding. Our server David is amazing at his craft. We will be returning for another great experience!
Tables are too close together leaving little chance for privacy. Food portion was too small for price paid.
Wonderful, as always. Great service, fabulous food, portions too large Lol
Great food, great service, and a wonderful view all come together in a perfect evening out. Blue Moon Fish did not disappoint on any level. From a cocktail at the bar (crafted with care) before being seated, to seating, appetizer service, the fish specialty and the fish special of the day everything was tremendously on-point. A great place for anniversary, birthday, or date. I will certainly be back the next time I am in town.
Blue Moon NEVER disappoints - the Sunday brunch is simply the best I have ever encountered! The variety of seafood and tapas plates are creative and delicious and their Bloody Mary and champagne is tops!
