Welcome to the Blue Marlin Restaurant, proudly serving "A Taste of the Southern Low Country," located in Columbia South Carolina's thriving Congaree Vista District.

Horrible food. She crab soup was bland, steak undercooked, and the fried seafood was all overcooked. Just horrible. One good thing was the collards; they were delicious.

Waited close to 8 mins. before the server came over to greet and take drink order. He said he got caught up in the kitchen. The food was average. The skillet dish was bland and the composition of the dish did not make sense and did not look good at all. The half fried shrimp and scallop basket was bland as well. This was the 2nd time I have been here and the first time was great, so I was very disappointed in this visit. I will not go back.

Everything was delicious and our server was great. The crab cake app & creme brulee cheesecake were the highlights! Pan seared scallops cooked perfectly.

Our server was great. The food was disappointing . I have been to The Blue Marlin so many times. The food has been great and flavorful but last night it was bland. I was embarrassed that I recommended this restaurant to my new boyfriend.

Everyone else's meal was great. They all had a fish dish of one kind or another. I chose to get filet. My server said there was no such thing as ordering it medium + but there is because I have had two other restaurants cook it for me that way. My filet was to too underdone the first time and then too overdone on the second try. Guess the cook doesn't know how to do a medium +. I'll stick to a fish dish next time. Other than that everything was superb !!!
