To ensure this commitment of quality, we’ve partnered with Chris Quartuccio of Blue Island Shellfish Farms in Long Island, NY to bring you nearly daily shipments of seasonal oysters and seafood, offering favorites such as Steamed Mussels, Lobster Rolls, Clam Chowder, Crab Cakes, and fish like halibut, Icelandic cod, and salmon, to name a few. Our food items are complemented by a well-rounded bar menu with craft cocktails, a great wine list, and thoughtful beer selection.

I took my significant out for his birthday. Due to the virus there was very little customers and the service was non existent. Waited sometimes for 30 minutes before we saw the waiter to get something. The food was pretty good. We don’t go out to expensive restaurants often only for special occasions so this was disappointing from a value perspective. Maybe it is the effects of Coronavirus or maybe this is how it is there.

As always, we had a spectacular meal Saturday. Shane is an exceptional server, and I often request to be in his section! Our friends had never been here before and we’re throughly impressed. The food was excellent, the service fantastic. Thank you,for always making our dining experience wonderful. We will be back in two weeks! I have more people I want to introduce to your establishment!

We went for “buck a shuck” and as we sat down, I informed my waitstaff person, that I was limited on time. I requested 3 dozen and two veggie sides and asked if it would be a problem with my time constraint. I asked for the bill in advance and paid. To my dismay, the 3rd dozen didn’t arrive until the time I had indicated that I had to leave. I will return for the good food, but I am disappointed at their seemingly carelessness of my concerns.

I dined here with my children (ages 8 & 11) towards the end of restaurant week March 2020. I got the restaurant week special 3 course meal and it was delicious. We got there before happy hour was over (HH I think is 4-6pm) so we got some oysters , calamari, and I got a cocktail from the HH menu. My daughter got a kids meal and she enjoyed it. My son got fish tacos off the HH menu he didn’t like the sauce on them-but once I wiped it off he was happy. I can’t wait to return with friends for HH cocktails and appetizers.

Dining at the blue Island oyster bar was a pretty good experience. The oysters were the best part of the dinner in my opinion. We sampled the restaurant week menu which was pretty good overall. Our server Seemed to forget that we were there for a majority of the dining experience. We sat waiting to order for probably 20 to 30 minutes before she came back. We had to flag her down to have her take our order. our drink order also took a long time to get to our table. When our appetizers came out, the food runner almost gave our appetizers away to the table next to us. It seems like there’s some confusion about the table numbers. However, it wasn’t a bad experience overall.

The restaurant has valet parking, which is incredibly convenient for the area it’s located in. I’m glad we didn’t have to go looking for parking.

We will probably go back and just do the oyster bar.

Our server didn't seem interested in doing his job of providing great service. I was excited to finally try Blue Island Oyster Bar but found it to be mediocre for the price we paid. The service could be improved. The servers should be trained to treat customers like they care. I never felt welcomed nor was any information volunteered about the dishes they serve.

The house martini is amazing! The food was delicious. It was very busy, but we never felt like we were waiting- the service was great! I really enjoyed the overall feel of the restaurant and will definitely be returning

I went to Blue Island for restaurant week. I had gone for 2019 restaurant week and had a FANTASTIC experience. The lobster mac and cheese is seriously amazing. Unfortunately, I had consumed something that made my stomach hurt immediately and had to leave. The kind waitress had given us a discount as well. I'll definitely give them another shot.

I did notice that their oyster selection was trimmed down drastically over the year. I'm not sure if that was a restaurant week thing, or if they are no longer carrying as many oysters.

Their happy hour prices are phenomenal! Definitely recommend a visit during that time.

Oysters were fantastic, nice selection and informative server.
Disappointing lobster roll. It was literally a hot dog bun with lettuce and tomato and a small amount of lobster (about 4 bites) on top for $28.00.

Went for Restaurant Week. The server was nice enough but didn't communicate when one of our appetizers was delayed so it came out after our entrees which was disappointing.

The food was tempting, happy hour deals are a good value, other prices are a little on the expensive side. Service was very good, our server was knowledgeable and friendly, we will return for happy hour and oysters at the bar.

We love coming here but the food this time wasn’t the best. Both our steaks were well done, the beet confit had burned I think fennel on it when it was a pickled fennel the other times I’ve had it. We’ll chalk it up to it being Restaurant Week and rushed and will come back again hoping it’ll be better.

This is a gem of a restaurant. Going during Restaurant Week was a plus. The menu offered outstanding options and we all loved the food we chose. I'd strongly recommend adding it to your list of "must visit" locations.

Loved the food, our server looked annoyed, like she didn't want to work that day. Wish we had the other server that was helping the table next to us -- she was being outstanding.

For the price not worth the service you could choose a 5star just for 50 or so difference in price not worth your time
