Excellent as always. Tried the burger tonight. So good!!
Great food, service a d decor
We made a reservation and were seated within 5 minutes of arriving. Very good service and food on a busy Friday evening. They accommodated our 3 year old very well.
Can always count on Blue Hill gor any dining experience
I love Blue Hill Tavern, although this was maybe not the best sample of our experiences there. The sky-blue-and-chocolate decor manages to be both vibrant and soothing, original and classic; the service was attentive as always. My husband enjoyed his calamari salad and salmon fillet. I was perhaps a bit less satisfied with the bleu cheese wedge salad (good, but a little too much vinegar) and a duck confit pizza (a bit on the sweet side, and not a lot of meat). The bread pudding baked with apples was delicious, though. Still a wonderful place!
I have been to Blue Hill on several occasions and recommend it regularly. I have done a Christmas Girlfriend Party there, I have done Girls Night Out There, Date Nights and Valentine's Day 2017. My last visit was with four women that have never been and all said they would return. One was quite pleased to find out it was only 9 minutes away from her home. Our waiter was "Excellent", very attentive and friendly. My only negative comment is your Maitre D, is not very friendly, and to my personal knowledge he has been there a long time and maybe someone needs to let him know his demeanor "Sucks". But I still love "Blue Hill" .
I've been coming to Blue Hill every few months for years. Would probably come more often if I still lived local. The food and service is always good. I just wish they had a seared tuna entree on the menu. They had a pretty fantastic seared tuna special the first time I dined there. I think in 4 or 5 years I've only been there one other time that it was offered. If it was added to the menu I'd probably come twice as often!
Great restaurant, very pleasantly surprised. Nice greeting, excellent service, nice drinks and outstanding food. Although we did not drink or dinner in the bar, we could have and it's very nice with a contemporary feel. Overall, a great experience!
We booked this restaurant for Easter because there was no set menu and we liked the idea of being able to order off the menu. In addition, the website offered unlimited Mimosas for a set price. When we arrived we were informed that there was a set menu and that unlimited Mimosas were not available. The restaurant should have contacted us to inform us of the changes. Will not go back again.
Easter lunch/brunch while on Spring break vacation. Food was excellent and everyone was very nice.
Took my family of 10 there for Easter brunch. Setting was very nice , menu selection amazing, and food was outstanding!
Blue Hill Tavern was a real find! We had not heard of it until we saw the positive reviews on Groupon, which led us to choose it. The food was amazing (my husband said the pork tenderloin dish was one of the best meals he had ever had!), and our server, Dan, was both knowledgeable and responsive—we will definitely be back!
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Blue Hill Tavern.
We really enjoyed our evening at Blue Hill Tavern. I wish I could remember our waiters name because he was excellent. We enjoyed good food and good beer. We will definitely return.
Excellent Service and food, highly recommend
Very good but little
Pricey. Drinks are expensive
Had the Chateaubriand for 2 which is fairly hard to find. It was very good, but normally the staff plate the first dish, here they just put the entire large plate down and we had to do that (no bigge). I had the Cranberry Mule which was very watered down and not a great drink, my wife had a special Manhattan which was much better and stronger. The roasted Brussel sprouts were very good. Wait staff were attentive enough - this is my 3rd or so time here, will go back, it is a very nice place with good food in a nice neighborhood. Can get rather noisy near the bar or large tables as sound echoes - but that is a positive for some...
Very accommodating to our big group. Great price for bottomless mimosas, bloody mary's and sangria. Menu included breakfast and lunch menu.
This is my second time at the Blue Hill Tavern. We arrived for dinner a little early so we sat for a drink at the bar - bartender was cold and unresponsive - didn't know what that was all about as the bar was nearly empty. Seated for dinner, our waiter was friendly and courteous. I ordered the shrimp and grits, which was bland. My husband had a burger and he also commented it was fair at best.
I have wanted to try Blue Hill for quite sometime and it was worth the wait. Everything was amazing! The calamari was the best I have ever had, the cheese platter was huge, the oven roasted chicken was tender and delicious, the portions where so big we didn't have room for desert!
Our night at Blue Hill Tavern did not disappoint. All members of their staff were helpful, knowledgeable and kind and the food was delicious! We had their Guinness Cream of Crab Soup, Sous Vide Pork Tenderloin, Harvest Salad and Salmon. All dishes were perfectly cooked and exceeded all of our expectations! We will certainly be back!
I brought a group of 20 of my colleagues to Blue Hill for a dinner after a long day of meetings. We had one waiter who was fabulous. He had drinks in our hands very quickly, the appetizers cam out rather quickly and the main entrees all brought out in perfect timing with everything still hot. Special requests were followed through and the waiter handled everything as if he could do it in his sleep. We were all very impressed. The food was on point and our glasses remained filled. Portion sizes were great. We had a lot left overs to take home too.
Always a pleasure to dine here. We were celebrating a family occasion and each of us enjoyed our meals.
We selected Blue Tavern only because our other pick, we learned, was not open on that Sunday night. Decided to be adventurous and looked at open table for comp options. Great drink menu. Service was good - and they may have been a little more busy than expected (holiday weekend.) Food was good, but I'm extremely picky. Salmon was a little too done and the capers in the corn hash with the crab cake were a little overpowering. Still a fun night and enjoyed ourselves.
Wonderful as always. Best chopped salad in the area.
We had dinner at Blue Hill Tavern for a late Valentine's Day celebration. Our waiter was very nice and patient while I chose the perfect meal. Crab cake and Brussels sprouts were to die for!
Lamb chops were amazing!! Ambiance — A+!! We had such a great valentines day dinner!!
Very comfortable and great food.
My husband and I have been to this restaurant a total of five times and we're never disappointed. We always order the chateaubriand with a couple of sides--DELICIOUS and fairly priced. We look forward to our next visit!
always a pleasure to dine at the blue hill. we go here every valentines' day and it keeps getting better. Outstanding customer service, fast service, and great food. nice beer and wine selection too.
Unfortunately I felt like the steak I ordered was not as fresh as it should have been.
Goid food pushy waitperson
Went for brunch on recommendation. Staff, food, and value all excellent. Brett the owner came over to make sure we were happy and when we said it was our first visit he sent over complementary deserts
Average experience. Crab cake was sub par.
Great contemporary design/atmosphere. Awesome food and top notch service.
Enjoyable dining experience all round. Our server, Jake was excellent.
We had a great meal from start to finish. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Jon was a great server. We’ll definitely be back soon.
The food was great - no question really asked the simple question as was this good eating experience/ The answer is inequitably YES.
Great atmosphere and amazing food! I will definitely be back soon.
Our group of 8 ordered from main entrees menu and all our meals were expertly prepared and served. The only disappointmentioned was the Maryland Crab Soup . My husband did not get any crab meat at all in his soup, so he basically got " vegetable soup". Should he have sent this back to the kitchen?
Needless to say he was quite crabby about that!
