We selected Blue Tavern only because our other pick, we learned, was not open on that Sunday night. Decided to be adventurous and looked at open table for comp options. Great drink menu. Service was good - and they may have been a little more busy than expected (holiday weekend.) Food was good, but I'm extremely picky. Salmon was a little too done and the capers in the corn hash with the crab cake were a little overpowering. Still a fun night and enjoyed ourselves.

We had dinner at Blue Hill Tavern for a late Valentine's Day celebration. Our waiter was very nice and patient while I chose the perfect meal. Crab cake and Brussels sprouts were to die for!

My husband and I have been to this restaurant a total of five times and we're never disappointed. We always order the chateaubriand with a couple of sides--DELICIOUS and fairly priced. We look forward to our next visit!

always a pleasure to dine at the blue hill. we go here every valentines' day and it keeps getting better. Outstanding customer service, fast service, and great food. nice beer and wine selection too.

Went for brunch on recommendation. Staff, food, and value all excellent. Brett the owner came over to make sure we were happy and when we said it was our first visit he sent over complementary deserts

Our group of 8 ordered from main entrees menu and all our meals were expertly prepared and served. The only disappointmentioned was the Maryland Crab Soup . My husband did not get any crab meat at all in his soup, so he basically got " vegetable soup". Should he have sent this back to the kitchen?
Needless to say he was quite crabby about that!

Good service from our waitress, she was well informed about the wine list and let my boyfriend sample a beer before ordering it. We came in for restaurant week and our courses came out pretty quickly. Appetizers were really great. My boyfriend got the steak and it was cooked perfectly and a great value for the restaurant week prices. I got the chicken and the flavors were nice but it tasted like a salt shaker had been dumped on top of my chicken. It was too salty to eat the crispy skin which was the main aspect of the dish.
Desserts were great, we'd definitely come back without restaurant week

We went for brunch on Saturday during restaurant week. The place was packed! The food was delicious! Prices on the normal menu seemed a little high, but brunch was reasonably priced. My husband had mussels steamed in white wine and they were perfect. My duck gnocchi was a small portion, but so rich I don't think I could have eaten anymore. We went straight home for naps after a filling meal.

Very good experience - had the bronzino which was excellent as were the haricots verts that accompanied - pleasant, friendly server- very pleasant decor. In the winter there is a curtain across the front door but it should be checked regularly as cold air can get back to the rear easily

Met some friends there for Restaurant Week brunch. Overall, very nice ambiance and the food was very good. The bottomless mimosas for $9.99 was a good deal.
