Really great seafood near Times Square. Worth the price.
Food was just ok. Portion size was on the small size for a $30 salmon entree.
Great food, great service. Everything I hoped it would be. Can’t wait to go back.
After reading many reviews we settled on Blue Fish for dinner after our Broadway show. Our waiter was perfectly timed, well skilled and personable . The Thai Hot Pot was a large dish, my husband said it was one of the best dishes he has ever had. We also enjoyed the Sea Bass and as other reviewers had mentioned, the fish is perfectly prepared. If you are in NYCity, this restaurant is a must!
I enjoyed my time dining at this restaurant. All the staff were very friendly and always have a smile on their faces. I would dine at this restaurant if I visit NYC again in the future. The best sushi I had while I was vacationing in NYC.
Fantastic job and keep up the great work!
Very good service , servers were attentive and available . Food on point. Price adequate to area
Overall great experience. We were greeted by a very friendly staff and our waiter was excellent. Perfect for a great tapas meal. We needed discuss business as well and the noise level was perfect for a relaxing conversation. Would definitely recommend.
Our server had a trainee with him so that might have been the cause of the delay, but it's still no excuse. We waited 30 plus minutes to get our drinks (they sold out of the bottle of sake we wanted and the beer we wanted). Then it took another 35 minutes to get our appetizers. They probably wanted us to get our drinks first before they put in the food order...bad judgement call as we had kids with us. The table next to us (different server) was already drinking and eating within 15 minutes of sitting down and they were seated after we already gave our orders. I gave the service 3 stars because after we complained, the service was outstanding. As much as I enjoyed the food, I would only go back if somebody else suggested we go or if I have 3 plus hours to kill for dinner.
I've been to Blue Fin around 5 times but this time I was a little disappointed in how slow the service was.
Food was just OK, by New York City standards.
Had an early reservation prior to theater (530pm). No calamari or Chilean Sea Bass.
It was busy, but I would expect that for a restaurant in Times Square. We were heading to a show, so the slow service was a real distraction during the meal. Food was okay, but not amazing.
Would not go back.
Took my girlfriend for dinner after a show on Broadway. Food was very good, however service was a bit slow.
Deset should not be missed
We had brunch here before a matinee and were very impressed. We assumed, based on the location, that it would be a tourist trap but we couldn’t have been more wrong. The complimentary Bloody Mary was a nice touch and we were impressed by the menu selection. My husband said the sushi was really fresh and the egg bowls were creative and tasted great. We would definitely eat here again
Food was great!
Very nice restaurant. Fresh oysters were great. Shrimp cocktail not so good. Excellent paella. I would go back, but not order the shrimp cocktail.
We had a great time. HOWEVER, I received a "no show " message. We were there, we didn't cancel or were a no show. I would like to get my points for this visit. We spent 156.00!
Very good food, service a bit slow but they were very busy
Superlative food. Mouth watering!
Fantastic evening at Blue Fin, we started with 4-5 delicious appetizers and shared a seafood pot entree. Best way to sample all the different flavors of this restaurant.
Amazing location but no view of Times Square. The food was excellent, great portions and so fresh! Will come back for the sushi for sure.
My waitress had an attitude when I asked her for hot water for my utensils
She couldn’t recommend a meal that I was trying to describe to her
Great Experience! Food was delicious and the atmosphere was really nice. We will be back. :)
Great dining experience. Had a great time with my significant other. Great ambiance and good atmosphere
First time at Blue Fin and it was really good. I would definitely visit again and tell others about it.
We went for a pre-theatre meal and the service was excellent. Kendra is a wonderful customer service oriented professional.
The food was tasty and the drinks were strong.
My only real gripe is that we were seated at a terrible table in a back back corner of the restaurant. I get that open table tables arent that great, but this was absurd.
Last experience was a little disappointing than many other visits before. It was v-day and reservations were made two weeks in advance. We were probably first ten tables to be seated which means most of the restaurant was empty. They sat us on non-cushioned uncomfortable chairs of a tiny table of two when most of the tables & booths were empty. They fixed this for us upon request. Service was lacking smile, pleasantness and interest. Server was there to just “do her job” and was very upfront. Felt super rushed out within an hour with 3 course meal and drinks. Needless to say this was not a good choice to celebrate v-day unfortunately. For these prices I expect at least a service with a smile if not anything else! Food was ok as expected so not much complains there.
Great for before show.Food and service started the afternoon off very nice.
