Came to New York for a girls trip!! This restaurant is right in Times Square. We went before a show, and we walked to august Wilson afterward. Amazing food amazing atmosphere. My favorite place we ate all weekend

This restaurant is in bustling Times Square, but the gorgeous decor and wonderful ambiance transports you to another place. The food is phenomenal and the wait staff is super attentive. A great place to eat before a show, or if you just want a a superior dining experience. We will be back!

Food was super salty. Almost seemed like they added salt to mask that the fish wasn’t fresh. Took forever for the soup to be brought and then the entrees came too soon. We also waited a long time for our bottle of wine. I do not recommend!

Wonderful ambiance! Reservation made it so easy for seating upon our arrival. Table distance was perfect for meal and conversation enjoyment. The server was awesome and provided an excellent run down of the catch of the day, oyster selection, etc. Food was served hot and tasty seasoned perfectly. Suggest sea bass, filet, and salmon as entrees. For appetizers: oysters grilled and roasted bienville and lobster & crab rolls. Beautiful decor!

It took 30min to be seated from the reservation time. Once we were guided to the table, we realized that so many empty tables are available while many people were waiting in the reception. The speed of serving foods is too fast and not professional as the main dishes come up while we were sharing a stater dish. Also, the level of a waiter is low since poring wine up too much from a bottle. The food was great.

Terrible experience. We walked out without our dinner. Theater/date night for me and my husband. Reservations were for 6:15. The host was disorganized, sitting people out of order (same res time, same party size) complained nobody was supporting him in the main area. My request to be seated in lower area due to obvious delays in main area was given to other diners - I had asked, was ignored and others asked and got seated. We finally were seated in back room that was pretty empty and had awful lounge singer covers of music blasting. After 15+ minutes, the waiter came to our table to give us water and we placed our full order Including drinks. We emphasized we were going to a show and we’re concerned with the time it took to get to ‘the water on the table stage’. Waiter did request to turn down the music which made things better. At 7, I went to find a manager as we had no drinks or food (we requested not to stage food, just bring out when ready). I said if we didn’t have drinks in 5 minutes we were leaving. After another 5 minutes, no drinks although the waiter said they were ready. They brought one of our dishes on the house and then brought drinks and my husband’s drink was wrong despite the waiter having written down his order. So an hour after we checked in, we walked out. We got a slice of pizza and had a great drink at the theater and enjoyed our show tremendously. Will never go back nor recommend. It was very obvious they over committed with reservations and not staffed to support. We were in a back room with only two other tables with customers and 10 empty tables. The appetizer we had was good and they did comp that but it was a stressful experience (my husband constantly saying we should leave while I was holding out it would work out) and started off a fun evening on a poor note.

Our third time at Blue Fin, and the first time since they've re-opened "post"-pandemic. We started with two specialty sushi-rolls, which were large and excellent (8 pieces each). My scallops with bacon were perfection. Everyone at our table enjoyed the meal. Our server, Rayshaun, was superb. He recommended our chocolate dessert, which was scrumptious. Oh and our cocktails were spot on. Highly recommended dinner post-matinee.

So glad to see the all new, reopened Blue Fin. The food was delicious, the space beautifully appointed and our server Joe was excellent. This is a no brainer for pre-theater but also a great place for any occasion.

Great spot for pre-theatre dinner. Service and ambiance were excellent. We’ve been there a few times prior and the food was outstanding. Evidently the menu changes which is good but everything we apparently ordered had heavy sauces or was spicy hot? Tried the twin lobster tails with Cantonese Sauce but it was everything but Cantonese style? A bit disappointing at that. Otherwise definitely would recommend.

Let's start with AMAZING service from Tristan. He knew the menu well and knew when to stop by and check in on us. We had the yummy Japanese oysters for starters, very good sushi and they had one of our favorite wines "The Prisoner" by the glass and bottle. Try the bread pudding...you won't be disappointed

Happy to see this wonderful restaurant reopen, better than ever! The ambience is amazing, with wonderful floor and lighting space. Food was exceptional. Our party of 4 split the Mediterranean salad and roasted bacon; both delicious and filling. Everyone's entrees were delicious; I personally recommend the salmon. Drink menu was interesting and well-crafted. Give it a shot if you have a chance!

We had a wonderful dinner to celebrate my birthday. We started with a bottle of French Champaign and a Seafood Tower. That was fabulous! After that two of us had miso sea bass and one had red snapper. They brought wonderful desserts for us since we were celebrating my birthday. The service was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We‘ve been there for New Year‘s Eve but there was no decoration at all. That was too bad. Furthermore the waitress has been unkind. The food was good but MUCH too pricey and no value for money.
